If I remove a Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes in my Graveyard from play for Phantom of Chaos's effect, and Phantom of Chaos is destroyed after its effect resolves, can I activate my face-down Rise of the Snake Deity and summon Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes from my Hand or Deck (because Phantom of Chaos's name was treated as Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes)? well,it says if a Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes is destroyed,and thePhantom of Chaos is treated like the Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes u can,after all it still would be destroyed face up and u can activateRise of the Snake Deity Jay Cane 21:55, March 20, 2010 (UTC)
Yea, Jay Cane's correct. It's similar to this:
"You can activate this effect when a face-up monster you control that is treated as a Beast-Type monster (due to "DNA Surgery", etc.) is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard"
