Forum:Warrior Beatdown help/fix. Any comments welcomed

Hi, I'm just starting a warrior deck, hopely for beatdown. I haven't finished it yet, so feel free to add in cards. Theres so far 39 cards, I want my deck to be around 45. Nothing past 50 though hopely.

• Even though Gene-Warped Warwolf has 2000 ATK, it is not a Warrior and thus not really helping you. I would replace them with extra Command Knight and Marauding Captains. Also, A. Forces is not really a good card - I run one in my warrior deck, but it's not really competitive. Two is pushing it. Torrential also seems like not a really good idea considering the whole point of Warrior Swarm is to, you know, swarm... there's also other stuff, like random Monarch, having Swift Gaia (not a really good card) and running Sakuretsu instead of Dimensional Prison. But if you're working with the cards you have, I guess it's not too bad. Danny Lilithborne 03:30, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree with what's posted, though I'd run 3 Command Knights, add another Wildheart w/ a Stratos. I also always find Amazoness Swords Woman to be a favorite of mine. The other nice thing is most warriors are earth-type, so Giant Rat makes a good add, especially with Exiled Force. Lightspeed1967 20:26, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Nice... another favorite is UFO Turtle to get 2/3 Command Knight's on the field so they can't attack any of them, then Exiled to increase their attack or destroy an opponents defense. Lightspeed1967 20:49, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

• If you would like to use Gilford the Lightning and use its effect try this: Special Summon Spell Striker and then activate Inferno Reckless Summon to summon two more then summon Gilford. Dmaster (Contribs • Count) 20:54, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Get judgment of anubis trap card. It's great for stoping alot o f hurtful spell cards. Get a DMOC, even if it is not warrior, it could help alot. Also get a brain control and a lightning blade

Now should i put in 2 giant rats, or 2 ufo turtles ? and thank you for all the advice, I would add in spell striker,DMOC, amazoness swords women, and all the other cards, but I dont have them. im just working with what i have. thanks though everyone, keep em coming :)

• I would say remove Swift Gaia and Sogen. Sogen only increases by 200 the atk, nothing significant or important, if you really want atk increase put back The A. Forces. For Gaia, its normally difficult to activate its effect but, if you find it useful, continue with it. I would say add Mystic Swordsman LV4, it combines well with marauding captain, and Neos Alius instead of Gearfried.--Teba64 18:08, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Sogen may only increase the ATK by 200, but it also increases the DEF and with cards like Command Knight it can make a good difference. Plus, Sogen and A. Forces are good together. Plus, you'll impress people by playing an old field spell. ^.^ Danny Lilithborne 00:42, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
    • I agree, i would be impressed by facing it :). But i still think another A. Forces would be better. You will be swarming to attack, so i think the def isnt so important in there. But, thats just my opinion.You use what you want and like :) --Teba64 01:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

If you want to be on the offensive put in Giant Rat, if you want to stall your opponent from attacking, then use UFO Turtle to get out Command Knight. Lightspeed1967 21:20, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
