NO VAMPIRE GENESIS! this card is terrible compared to Vampire Lord (needed as a tribute) there's a reason nobody ever used that card.

Zmaster21 19:01, 1 August 2008 (UTC)zmaster21 hi, let me tell you, i have been running a zombie for a while - over a year and a half -, so i think we can keep in contact sharing ideas to improve the deck, so first i'll give you my current deck list. zombie master x3, pyramid x3, zombie goblin x2, spirit reaper x1, dark dust spiritx1, despair x1, ryu kokky x2, vampire lord x1, vampire's curse x1, sangan, morphing jar, night assailant.

spells: enemy controller x3, nobleman, swords of revealing light, heavy storm, MST, lightning vortex x1, hand destruction, hand destruction x2, book of life x3, monster reborn, card of safe return x2, book of moon x1, card destruction

traps: royal decree x2, bottomless x2, torrential.

an advice for you, dont use vampire genesis, it doesnt work as ggod as it sounds, - doesnt have the revival effect and you have to remove the v. lord -, now i will try to run a complete zombies deck with the new monster mezuki, - 3 of them - and i will change the 2 hand destruction for 2 follish burials -, so what i think is that you may need to do is start to save some money because you will have to spend a little to get all the cards that will help your deck run much faster , if you have any question please post.

Here is my 2c zombies only work well if they are fast and they swarm

so:

- double coston (no need -slows deck down) - obsidian dragon (too situational) - despair from the dark (double tribute - slows deck down) - regenerating mummy (no decent effect - better beatsticks) - fear from the dark (see regen mummy) - vampires curse (monsters don't die by attacks anymore) - lady in white (not needed in swarm) - call fo the mummy (terrible topdeck) - dark core (takes up room for better cards that discard) - Blast Held By a Tribute (too situational)

+ zombie master x2 + Mezuki x3 + magical merchant x1 or 2 (gets ur zombies in the gy) + snipe hunter (gr8 effect with a discard) + phantom of chaos x1 or 2 (give sthat extra zombie master or pyramid turtle effect) + Marshmallon (now staple :p) + card of safe return (any zombie deck that does not run this deserves to stay dead :D) + vampire lord (omg sooooo good now that things die mostly by mirror force smashing ground torrential etc) + morphing jar (gets the zombies YOU want in the gy and replenishes hand + treeborn to help tribute and to annoy opponent XD

p.s. Oh and add dimension fusion and the foolish burials to bring back the mezuki's you removed to special summon and zombies you removed for phantom of chaos
