"Hi-Speedroid", known as "High-Speedroid" (ＨＳＲ（ハイスピードロイド） Hai Supīdo Roido) in Japan, is a sub-archetype of the "Speedroid" archetype used by Yugo in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. The "Hi-Speedroid" monsters are Synchro Monsters that serve as the "boss" monsters of the archetype. While "Hi-Speedroid is not supported as an archetype in the OCG/TCG, all "Speedroid" Extra Deck monsters (including its sole Link Monster "Hi-Speedroid Rubber Band Shooter") have "Hi-Speedroid" in their names.

Etymology

So far, every "Hi-Speedroid" monster is named after a Japanese handheld game or toy. Their name is usually a portmanteau of the object it is and a short term.
