The Puzzle buyer (パズルの購入者) is an unnamed character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, whom Curator Kanekura tried to sell the Millennium Puzzle to.
In the Japanese version, he speaks in broken Japanese. This trait is not preserved in the English translation.
Biography[edit]
The buyer was interested in buying the Millennium Puzzle from Curator Kanekura, despite Kanekura having only borrowed it from Yugi Mutou.[1]
While the buyer was looking at the Puzzle on display in the museum, Kanekura quieted him down as Yugi and his friends were nearby. Kanekura then invited him to come to his office ten minutes before the museum closed to finalize the sale.[1]
When the buyer went to Kanekura's office, he was either killed or knocked unconscious by Shadi, who went inside to perform the Weighing of the Heart on Kanekura.[1]
