Appearance[edit]

Can we still list the appearance of the species as the same as Vector because it seems that he is the only one who looked like that. Photonkrios99 (talkcontribs) 16:57, January 28, 2013 (UTC)

Its left unspecified in-series. The other Barians are clearly wearing clothes in their true forms, under which could be energy forms like Vector. Or not. We don't actually know. It probably would be better to replace the image of Vector with one of another Barian though. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 17:22, January 28, 2013 (UTC)
Now that Vector has been shown with a non-energy form should it be changed to reflect that they aren't an energy species but as a humanoid one as now the only Barian's who haven't shown their true forms are Rei and Durbe.

VBarian[edit]

I think we should consider that the BARian's name is not only a joke, but the place is most likely built by humans. As such Rei Shingetsu's badge should be considered the official romanization above the BARian. Kore wa shomeidesu. (talkcontribs) 16:50, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

Talk:Barian World#Barian/Varian Page Renaming. --The Goblin 16:52, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

Barian[edit]

I agree. Then, in the page we add "For other uses, see 'Barian (disambiguation)'". It's much simpler. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 00:16, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

Cloaked[edit]

Um... I don't think images of each Barian cloaked is needed for their articles... It adds nothing and just makes the page more loaded. I mean, it's just a cloak, we don't add images of the characters with every different clothe they use, y'know. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 00:16, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

I don't mind them, but Durbe and Misael's articles aren't large enough to support that many images in one section. While we're on the subject, why are we using the Barian true forms as the article pictures. They appear (Durbe aside) in their human forms more often. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:40, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
I guess your answer is in your question: because it's their "true forms". For example, Yeager and Tokunosuke appeared disguised many times in the series, but the right choice for the article pictures of them is obviously their "true forms", undisguised; the Barians, too, have to use a "human disguise" in the human world 'cause you know why, it's a similar case. In my opinion true form as main picture and a human form picture in the article's body is perfect. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 00:51, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
I sort of think that when someone hears "Gilag", they think of his human form, so that's what the infobox picture should be. They don't picture his Barian form. As for cloaks, feel free to remove them. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:54, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
Sure, but if I say "Durbe" or "Vector", I bet you imagine their true forms, don't you? Vector didn't even show a human form. Also, some people may think of Gilag's true form instead, for example. Dunno, I personally don't think that a good reason to use their human forms pictures, but if you think it's better like that, no objections.
And I'll remove the cloaked pictures then. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 01:31, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
Vector did show his human form - all the time. His human form is Rei. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 01:36, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
It is? o.O Ohh, that's from episode 96, isn't it? Didn't watch yet. :P Everything makes sense now. xD But you still probably thinks on Durbe in his true form. xD LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 01:47, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
The reason we use the Barian forms for the main pages is essentially because RexGodwin wanted it that way. I've always thought it should show their most common forms over their "true" forms. It's confusing otherwise. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 01:53, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
But wouldn't it be the opposite? I mean, if, for example, Gilag is a Barian, wouldn't the fact that his main picture is that of a human make it look like he's a human? I think that would be confusing. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 01:57, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

Durbe/Nasch[edit]

Is it right to allow Durbe to also be called Nasch on this page? Yes, Durbe does go under the name Nasch when he is on Earth, but in episode 99, it is also said that Nasch was a Barian who once sat on the throne, but was overthrown. --~Mana~ (Talk) 13:30, April 14, 2013 (UTC)

Theory[edit]

Hmmmmm... Let's see if I got this right. A bunch of people from human world died, and got reincarnated as Barians. Does this mean the entire race is in fact a legion of reincarnated people that failed to rank up into the Astral World? If that's true, doesn't that make Barian and astral World seem a bit like the afterlife? Come to think of it, did we ever actually see a common Barian? One that is not an Emperor or a god?--Hawk00Refferencer (talkcontribs) 06:22, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

No Barains have been shown other than the Seven Barian Emperors unless other Barians are floating crystals/other miscellaneous things which have escaped notice XD but aside, but more to the topic of improving the article: Should Don Thousand be listed here? I mean he is said to be the Barian God, but given the vaguely explained reincarnation relationship between Barians and Humans (and Astrals?) could he be 'outside' of this or of a differant species entirely? - I mena I know that is a lot of speculation, but isn't DT being a Barian also speculation? Sardeth42 (talkcontribs) 11:12, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
It is possible he is actually responsible for the creation of the corrupt Barian world that opposes the ideal Astral world, which, if my theory of afterlife is correct, effectively makes him the Satan of Zexal.--Hawk00Refferencer (talkcontribs) 12:55, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

REALLY needs updating based on the new flooding of information concerning the barian emperors and don thousand.

Kurage stated that he was a Barian, which means that DT and the SBE aren't the only Barians around.Over-HundredLegendaryChaosShiningNumbers (talkcontribs) 03:18, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
