Duel Academy?

Is this place just supposed to be called "The Academy" (English stylization), or is it actually another version of Duel Academy? Remember that (almost) everyone here wears red, yellow or blue blazers, which is reminiscent of the GX Duel Academy where blazer colors indicated a student's dorm. It's also worth pointing out that Episode 41's title is "The Land of Ambition, Duel Academia". This seems like a pretty strong supporting hint. • Episode 41 is named "Land of ambition - Duel Academia" and they also possess "Obelisk Force, an elite group of soldiers that wear blue uniforms... so I think it's safe to assume that this Academia is the one in GX... Yano88 (talk • contribs) 18:20, February 1, 2015 (UTC)

DM-GX-5D's follow the same timeline for sure. So the Fusion Dimension being the same Duel Academy is impossible unless something happened with the timestream that split the dimensions. True, but I think we can still call it "Duel Academy", even if it's not the same Duel Academy. The name is what's important; I'm OK with this still being a separate article. For example, we have an article called "Duel Academy" referring to the original one, and we also have an article called "Duel Academy (New Domino)" referring to the 5D's one, because they're different. Maybe we could rename this article "Duel Academy (Fusion Dimension)" or "Duel Academy (ARC-V)" or something like that. Yu-Gi-Oh V arc happens like, hundred of years after the end of Yu-Gi-Oh GX.Things had changed since then.As you noticed,now the Duel Academy turned into a evil corporation who wants to turn the whole world into monster cards using Ancient Gear Golems.

Defected?

The hypnotiser

So now we have a more clear picture of this guy's face. Standing next to Leo and playing with his card the Parasite Fusioner to symbolize his control over the girls. Can't be an alternate universe version.

Like I said, this can't be an alternate universe version of Duel Academy, it has to be the same one. Because Yuuri has Super Poly. And there's only 1 version of Super Poly in existence because JADEN created it, therefore it has to be in the same universe as the previous animes. This event, and the summaries of next month's episodes just supports my theory that all the animes were in the same universe, and that some villain split them up, screwing with the timeline, explaining how characters from GX, 5D's, and ZEXAL can maintain all their original ages from those shows even though the events of those shows are decades apart. When the episode revealing the reason why the dimensions are split airs, we could also possibly get an explanation for how the events of the shows were wiped from everyone's minds and how the previous protagonists disappeared, possibly having Yuuya and his dimensional counterparts being involved.Manyfaceblake (talk • contribs) 17:02, September 26, 2016 (UTC)

What? The very fact that Super Poly exists in this universe is an indication that it HAS to be an alternate universe, not the other way around. It being an AU means it does not have to have the same plot explanation as Super Poly in GX. The Crimson Dragon appeared as part of a summoning sequence. All bets are off here. Ra Yellow Dub only
