Attacking[edit]
If Dummy Golem is attacked and it was in face down defense position with a higher attack than its defense, how would its effect work? Would it be switched (If the attacking monster is the only one on the opponent's side of the field.) with the attacking monster, would it be sent to the graveyard and its effect would be denied or would it switch controls of the monster and Dummy Golem would be destroyed? 66.57.227.76 21:40, March 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Those Dummy Golems' effects are similar to Charmers, as they required to be on the field in order to fulfill the effect requirement. If you get attacked and want those Dummy Golem's effect to activate in battle, I suggest you to using either Waboku (old trap, but work greatly) or Zero Gardna (the new card that Yusei used, but not great, since it's revealing your plans) in order to get them work right. --FredCat100 22:03, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

your opponent's monster attacks dummy golem in face-down defense, and your opponent's monster has a greater attack than defense, would the effect work? or would Dummy golem be destroyed and the effect wont activate since there wont be a monster to switch places with? —This unsigned comment was made by 71.133.213.238 (talk • contribs)
