Merge[edit]

I'd go with "Magical Erudite Junon", this looks nothing like a Samurai. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 15:45, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

Priestess instead of Erudite?[edit]

Is Erudite really the correct name for this card? Erudite is not even a noun, it's an adjective meaning wise or knowledgeable. All other Magicals have Magical+noun as their names and I can't think of any reason why this one would be any different. I think it should be Priestess since others have translated it as such and she's supposed to be The High Priestess as compared to Heiron who's The Heirophant. Plus I believe their Japanese names reference this with Junon being 魔導法士(Madou Houshi) and Heiron being 魔導法皇(Madou Houou). -魔法師 (talkcontribs) 02:21, April 25, 2012 (UTC)

The word [魔導法士] can mean anything from wizard to magician to practitioner of magic. Translating it as "Magical Priestess" doesn't sound correct. Though, I agree that the word "erudite" cannot be used here. I just don't know what suitable word should be used.  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 19:27, June 18, 2012 (UTC)

  • Yeah I know [魔導法士] doesn't really translate to priestess but other translators such as Neo Ark, Dark Evangel from Pojo, and Duel Network use Priestess. I'd use it just because she's supposed to be the third arcana, The High Priestess, albeit a scantily clad one. -魔法師 (talkcontribs) 17:50, June 19, 2012 (UTC)

Junon = High Priestess???[edit]

The Swiss Troccas deck replace the High Priestess with Junon/Juno, the Roman Queen of the Gods. The French also spell her name as "Junon" too.  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 19:27, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
