Prep School

• Didn't Hassleberry mention that he would have gotten into Obelisk Blue but it was required to go to a prep school (mention on the episode of his first Duel). Dmaster 16:58, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Unfair

Isn't it unfair that every girl who enters the academy is automatically in Obelisk Blue? That means the system only applies to men, which seems totally absurd. —This unsigned comment was made by 201.163.87.158 (talk • contribs) 06:28, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Maybe only 1 in 6 students are girls. That would balance out the numbers in each dorm. I think, but don't know, it's even less than 1 in 6 girls play the card game in real life. Certian luxuries have been offered to girls, who participate in fields largely dominated by men, such as science and maths to encourage more girls to take interest in them. Such could be the case with Duel Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Maybe it is unfair, but that's life. (Although it was hinted in one of the Tag Force games, in Blair's profile, that there is a Slifer Red girl's dorm) -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:03, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

That is Duel Academy Staff, and their uniform is orange. In episode 42 of Japanese anime it is stated there are no girls at Slifer Red and Ra Yellow Dorm. --109.93.23.17 (talk) 23:47, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

White vs. Blue

I'm not sure if Sartorius and Bastion belong to list. I think they were in (Obelisk) White Dorm as Society of Light members. --109.93.132.67 (talk) 20:35, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

It's up for interpretation. The White dorm more or less replaced the Blue dorm, so you could say that anyone part of the White dorm was in the Blue dorm by default. Personally, I'd be against listing them Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 00:31, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, but it only technically replaced Blue Male Dorm. Don't forget that the (Blue) Girl Dorm stayed Blue Dorm. White Dorm existed at the same time as the Blue Dorm (first illegal, then officailly). White Dorm was specifically for students who were members of the Society of Light (most former Obelisk Blue students and all Ra Yellow).
