Is this really a archetype, the support is for X-sabers so shouldent this be listed on X-saber page under related? HelioTrice 21:00, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

There are cards that support "saber monsters" so it would technically be an archetype, however, I agree that this should just be merged with the X-Sabers page, as there is no real purpose for this. —This unsigned comment was made by 173.67.57.215 (talk • contribs) 11:18, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Cards like "Commander Gottoms, Swordmaster" affects all "Saber" monsters. That includes all "X-Saber" monsters and a few others like "Sabersaurus". This page is needed for the whole |archtype1 = system. Redirecting this to "X-Saber" will cause the system to recognise "Commander Gottoms, Swordmaster" as an "X-Saber" support cards, rather than a "Saber" support card.

"Saber" is a superclass of "X-Saber", much like how "Hero" is a superclass of "Elemental Hero", "roid" is a superclass of "Vehicroid", "Crystal Beast" is a superclass of "Advanced Crystal Beast" and "X-Saber" is a superclass of "XX-Saber". -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:30, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
