Kattobingu daze, Ore translation

I'm not sure if there is a direct translation of Kattobingu (かっとビング) or if the phrase is even sensical. I'm aware that a subtitled preview translated Kattobingu daze Ore (かっとビングだぜ、オレ) as "Bring it to 'Em". Were those subtitles official and can anyone confirm that it's an acceptable translation or was it just used because there is no direct translation? -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:43, April 9, 2011 (UTC)

Well the page from Janime here posted it according to a magazine pic thoguh the link for the same is gone. I dont know if Kattobingu translates into such phrase for the first episode neither never the less Bring It To 'Em has seemed to be confirmed as the title for first episode. That magazine just gives the Japanese names. How it's translated is up to the translator. I'm guessing how he translated that is based on the subbed preview. Anyway, "Bring it to 'Em" seems to be a widely accepted translation, so we should probably stick with it too. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:26, April 9, 2011 (UTC)

I've seen it translated as "Fly high to the sky" myself, but I "Bring it to 'Em" seems to be generally accepted. I'm honestly in favor of just leaving it as untranslated, with a note that it's difficult to do so. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 03:22, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

It doesn't look like Thestalos to me. The figure you're talking about has a cape, which Thestalos doesn't, based on his artwork. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 01:30, January 16, 2012 (UTC)

Thestalos card has a cape. You can observe to shoulders and background. At shoulders have piece of blue cloth and a cape it is not similar with fire in background. It has also edge of the blue cape on his artwork. Terrato1 (talk • contribs) 04:04, January 16, 2012 (UTC)

Big Jaws effect

I was checking the effect of Big Jaws. It is to be removed from play after the Battle Phase when it attacks. How come Big Jaws was not removed?Mark Mares (talk • contribs) 23:54, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

Possibly due to the anime effect of either Aqua Jet or Big Jaws. One of them must be possessing a different effect in the anime, which is the reason why Big Jaws wasn't getting removed. 118.96.11.119 (talk) 11:45, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

It might be that since it's the first episode, they're not going to bother with things like that, and just keep the duel going. Kind of like how Junk Synchron's effect wasn't mentioned in the first episode.

I'm sure it's one of them things that they make it look cool in the anime and then make it lame in rl. Not that uncommon for yugioh to do that. Fryhop (talk • contribs) 20:17, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

Kattobing, redux

The subs on Toonzaki use "I'm Kattobing!!" as the episode name. The article has since been changed to use this as the translated name and there was another edit that I reverted that used both names for the translation. What should we do here? Take the Toonzaki sub as an indicator that it's not meant to be translated? Stick with "Bring it to Em?" Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 01:24, October 23, 2011 (UTC)

Differences in adaptation?

I merged the section in with the summary. Ideally, each episode page should handle it that way - dub changes go in parenthesis after what happens in the original. A lot of episode articles don't have proper summaries, so the differences get lumped together in a separate section - which is better than them not being there at all, obviously. The "Mistakes", "Differences from Preview", and "Differences from Manga" sections are still there, but the "Differences in Adaptation" section isn't. As for merging them into the episode summary, I much prefer them to be in their own section. It makes it easier to see all of them at a glance, rather than scrolling through a whole summary. Also, all other episodes for other series have the differences in their own section, so I don't know why this should be any different. --TeeWhyGeeOh (talk • contribs) 06:18, October 26, 2011 (UTC)

They are that way because those episodes do not have full summaries. This page does. Most don't, but this isn't the only article that does it this way.
