- ↑ The effect to seal a card in the temple's ark allows the player to place a specific card from their hand face-down in the Field Zone along with "Temple of the Kings". Although the exact requirements of the card to be sealed inside the ark are not specified, Odion comments that "The Winged Dragon of Ra" is the only card in his Deck that can be sealed inside the ark. In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 87: "Awakening of Evil, Part 2", Odion implies that the effect to automatically lose when "Temple of the Kings" leaves the field applies only once a card has been sealed inside it.
- ↑ In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 89: "Awakening of Evil, Part 4", an effect to release the sealed card is shown that is not mentioned in its card text. By paying half their Life Points, this card's controller can Tribute Summon the monster sealed inside the ark.
