Well, I guess I should drop a small overview of who I am and what I do here.

I recently welcomed a Wikia editor to a small YGO Forum. This is what I said to him.

As No. I of the Organization, I welcome you to NAC.

I called together Arkadia and Evangel some months ago, noting that while the wikia was sufficient on some levels for DN's card info, it was not suitable for what DN found to be a wise card-adding method.

Before I got involved, DN copied and pasted. You know full well that this isn't necessarily good - the wiki is susceptible to vandals, after all.

So, I pushed DN to let me take over OCG work - citing my prior experience in translation and localization for other programs as reason to trust me. (I did so for YVD a long time ago.)

With me on the team, I was able to pick out problems and issues, and form more reliable work.

But, to me, it wasn't enough - I needed more manpower than one person could provide.

I then decided: it's silly for the fan translators of the English-speaking Yu-Gi-Net to have all different spoilers, infos, and habits. All this does is confuse the fanbase.

I resolved to bring us all together. That is why I called Arkadia and Evangel. The three of us "founded" what I call "the Organization" - and we've been adding members to our little group ever since, be they translators, image-hunters, or language experts. YGO fans working together can accomplish quite a bit.

As Number I of the Organization, it's my little task to represent us as a team of sorts, since I seem to be the guy who likes to do so.

I humbly submit that the Organization and the Wikia could make great things together - by working together on OCG matters. The wikia does not benefit from having a bunch of other unofficial sources do things in different ways, either: when there are differences between sources, there's a possibility that SOMEONE is wrong, and when someone is wrong, that someone looks bad. When the Organization is right and the wikia is wrong, the wikia looks bad.

Notably, it works the same for the Organization. When the wikia is right and the Organization is wrong, the Organization looks bad.

By working together, we magnify each others' strengths and eliminate each others' weaknesses. To that purpose, I propose we work together from here on.

The Organization could provide the Wikia more cover against vandals regarding "new OCG info", by providing a little more manpower to the wiki. Every set of watchful eyes helps, after all.

The wiki could provide the Organization a platform through which it could communicate its work outside of DN - and it could also provide the expertise that the Wikia's fans, users, and Admins could provide.

We all stand to benefit from teamwork - and teamwork only brings us closer to my goal of unifying the information that game fans have cultivated. I surmise that the Wikia also embraces this goal: the reason for the Wikia is to inform, and "different" info is good only when it isn't wrong - ergo, when the wikia is right, everyone ought have the same info as it.

I am bad with words. But you understand my point, hm? We both stand to win. Let's work together.

In short, my role here is as Number I of my little Organization, to foster a mutually beneficial relationship between said group and the Wiki.
