User:Shane Kaiba

If you haven't already figured it out, my name's Shane and I'm a fan of Seto Kaiba. I live in Canada; always have, probably always will. Right now I'm in a small rural town called Shedden, but I'll be moving into the city at some point (hopefully soon; I'm getting bored out here.)

I've been playing this game since it first came out, way back in 2002. I first started out with a Yugi Starter Deck (back then I wasn't really a Kaiba fan), and about 200+ cards later, here I am.

As for the animé, I watched up to the end of the Battle City arc, and a few sporadic Waking the Dragons episodes. After that, my interest faded in the series and the franchise.But now, for whatever reason, I'm back into the game, much stronger than I was last time.

I have no real tournament experience, but plenty of casual duel experience with a few friends of mine. I'm definitely the best out of the lot of us (I've only lost to two of them once or twice, out of sheer bad luck.) I'm hoping when I move into Toronto to become a major player in the many tournaments there, and hope to make the World Championships at least once in my lifetime (or at least a high place in the Nationals).

I'm also a musician whenever I'm not dueling or playing some game. I play the keyboard, and learn mostly by ear. I know at least 100+ songs, including the Yu-Gi-Oh! theme (4Kids version; I always found it cooler.) I really couldn't call myself a fan if I didn't learn that song, could I? Especially with my musical ability.

Lasty, I'd like to take this opportunity to extend a challenge to any and all Duelists in London, ON, St. Thomas, ON, and anywhere nearabouts. I've just become bored fighting the same people over and over again, and would like to play someone else for a change. I'd also like to find a friend or two with my level of obsession with this game.
