Category[edit]

I was playing around this AM and saw that the using categories would constantly update lists (ie. # of Cards, Attribute lists, image lists, etc.) Why not use that to keep tabs on things and eliminate the need for editing and re-editing pages when new cards or sets are added. I'd be willing to lead the database update if this is a good idea. See for example Fire. --Pcouw 14:50, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

I could see that being very useful for things like the cards lacking images. Just add a note in the Image Policy about tagging articles without images and you'd be set. Jgamekeeper 16:37, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

United We Stand[edit]

Strange why would they make it Limited? it seems overpowerful..

The charcoal Inpachi[edit]

Sorry about the mark on the Charcoal Inpachi. I didn't notice it. Its really just one of those marks on a card sleeve though. Funlu

The Legendary Dragon Cards[edit]

i think the Legendary Dragon Cards are actually Spell Cards, not Monster Cards, for the following reasons:

1. They have no ATK, DEF value, nor a Level, Attribute, or Type

2. They can be played on the same turn a Normal Summon was performed.

3. When Yami played Underworld Circle, Hermos was not removed from play.

4. Wikipedia says they are Spell Cards.

If you disagree with me, let me know right away. AnnaV 15:54, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

So are you going to change them to Spell Cards. AnnaV 22:15, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Yeah they could be spell cards that are used in place of monsters to summon Fusion Monsters by thier own effect. Maybe something like this:

Eye of Timaeus

[Continuous]

Remove from play this card and "Dark Magician Girl" to Fusion Summon "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight" from your Fusion Deck.

(so on with all the other monsters)

Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight

[Dragon/Spellcaster/Fusion/Effect]

"Dark Magician Girl"+"Eye of Timaeus"

This card can only be Fusion Summoned by the effect of "Eye of Timaeus". At any time during your turn you may discard one card from your hand to destroy one monster on your opponets side of the field, this card cannot attack in the same turn that you use this effect. If The Seal of Orichalcos is played on your side of the field remove this card from play and Special Summon one "Dark Magician Girl" that has been removed from play to your side of the field in the same battle position this card was in.

Or something close to that. ---63.65.45.98 22:30, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Cyber Commander[edit]

This card does exsist because i got its info from Yu-Jyo.net and usually when its an Anime Only card it will state that its not a real card. It did not state this for Cyber Commander. --Evil Yugi 20:23, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Video Game Only[edit]

I noticed many cards that are used in the Anime are also in video games, but have not been released yet (such as Cyber Commander and Megazowler). I think we should create another having cards that only exist in the Anime and Video Games. AnnaV 22:16, 14 November 2006 (UTC) I think thats a good idea. --Evil Yugi 22:49, 14 November 2006 (UTC) --There are few cards like that, so I doubt it will work. Sorry. Funlu 3:33, 15 November 2006 Never mind! I just checked, there are sooooo many:O Funlu

Why?[edit]

did you delete my VWXYZ pics Twotailedfox? No offense, but they were totaly fine...

Featured Wikia[edit]

I'm asking leaders from Wikia nominated to be Featured to go ahead and create the "blurbs" that will be used if their Wikia wins. See Forum:Featured Wikia -- proposed changes for more information about how to create a blurb and how it will be used. Best wishes, CocoaZen 04:32, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

The Five Kuriboh brothers[edit]

I just watched the first duel between Yugi and Raphael and noticed that when the Kuriboh brothers went to the Graveyard, they did not count in the damage that Yami Yugi received by the effect of Purity of the Cemetery. This makes me believe that either the 5 Kuriboh Brothers are tokens and monsters or that if they are removed from the field for any reason, whether they was destroyed or Tributed, they are removed from play. What do you think about this. AnnaV 00:26, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Evil Yugi said the five Kuriboh weren't removed from play, which makes me believe they are tokens. Do you think so, too? AnnaV 12:54, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

1 thing (so this won't get on my nerves)[edit]

I find what you wrote on my talkpage annoying, but if you are trying to make a point so be it. I won't do anymore of what you think is annoying. And by the way, I wasn't trying to be rude, and I have nothing against this wiki. --SWME 01:49, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Horakhti the Creator of Light[edit]

Since this card exsists in both the anime & manga could you put in a special category for cards that only exsist in the anime & manga? ~ Evil Yugi

Please?[edit]

Can you tell me how to redirect things? P.S. Why did you put Serpent Night Dragon and Garnecia Elefantis in your deck? They are crud... Funlu 20:11 Nov. 27

Secret Ultra Rare?[edit]

How is GSE-EN001 Elemental Hero Wildheart a Secret Ultra Rare? It has the characteristics of an Ultra Secret Rare...I don't get it.

Elemental Hero Collections[edit]

Just wanted to clarify that the Elemental Hero Collections (both 1 & 2) are --not--, I repeat, --not-- tins. They come in rectangular box things, not metal tins.

Bad News about Dark Revelation Volume 3[edit]

Hey I just got a few cards today and Dark Revelation Volume 3 is DR3 not DR03... a few areas to fix up to be accurate with the cards... sorry.--Pcouw 03:19, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Token Article[edit]

How do u create Token Articles?

Card Number complication[edit]

I have a odd problem. i made a article for a trap card but it shares the same number as Earthbound Spirit. What should i do? ~Evil Yugi

Marshmallon Glasses[edit]

There is some debate about this card. Its image depicts it as a continous spell, in the anime it was an equip and its article states its normal. Which is it? Leave your answer and explanation in my talk page. ~Evil Yugi

Anime Only alphabetical lists[edit]

Are you sure you listed all the monster spell and traps in the alphabetical lists? Cuz it looks like compared to the old long list your missing a bit.. ~Evil Yugi

Guideline page[edit]

Maybe add a guideline page bout the wikia. be sure to include stuff bout membership, notability, vandalism, spamming, harrasment and blocking as they are critical pages. --Evil Yugi 01:54, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Anime Suggestion[edit]

Hey.. I was wondering if we could include a section under the Anime cards that would list what episode or what volume of manga the card was first played. It could replace the section for ID number... it would make finding images easier, instead of watching all the episodes :) thx --Pcouw 16:07, 16 December 2006 (UTC) Or make a template for Anime/Video Game Cards only...--Pcouw 16:09, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Differences between Video Game cards and real cards[edit]

There are some cards in video games that are real but are different than their real-life counterparts. could you put a section in the video game card area so we can explain them? Thanks. --Evil Yugi 01:05, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Flip Summon[edit]

On the Special Summon article, you said that a Flip Summon is considered a Special Summon. I never knew that and I'm not sure if it's true. Where did you get this information? AnnaV 22:37, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Card Guard[edit]

Do you know the real effect of that card? In the English anime, he says he discards two, but in the Japanese version, he says he discards 1 and according to yu-jyo.net, he only discards 1. I usually go with the Japanese version more the American because they are usually correct and more accurate.

Also, should we move the articles of the characters of the anime to their Japanese names (i.e. Joey Wheeler to Katsuya Jonouchi and Tea Gardner to Anzu Mazaki)? AnnaV 23:24, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Anime/Video Game Cards Template[edit]

I created new templates for Anime Only card types... since they don't need all the information that is used in normal TCG/OCG cards. Check them out and see what you think.--Pcouw 17:38, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

D. D. Assailant[edit]

I've moved the main article, but I don't know how to redirect other pages to it. Can you assist me?  :)

Ok, I understand. My bad

Card Number Issue[edit]

Quiz Panel Obelisk: 10 shares the same number as Marauding Captain. Please fix it although i dont know why obelisk 10 was released if the others were not..maybe a card mistake by Janime..~ Evil Yugi

transcripts[edit]

hey dude i already typed out the transcripts, which took hours. i ahd originally planned to just link to them on my wiki so people could get them, im guessing it was you who decided that's not allowed, so im just copypasta-ing them over to this one. if you want to then you can go through and change the layout. English manga of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

The english manga of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX has given the names of Elemental Hero Airman, Elemental Hero Forestman and Elemental Hero The Earth as Elemental Hero Stratos, Elemental Hero Woodsman and Elemental Hero Terra Firma respectively.

I think we should use this names for their articles, but I'd like to know your opinion... --Van Ludwig 09:39, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Why did you remove my article about double-eged sword cards? --Evil Yugi 22:52, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Silent Swordsman/Magician[edit]

then what do you want to do with those Silent Swordsman/Silent Magician articles because they all lead to the same place. They have different effects in the anime, but BadPlayer made links for them. do you want me to unlink them? AnnaV 17:34, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

"the names can be used with the Article Creator to list their effects" what do you mean by that? AnnaV 17:39, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

I see, but it won't be easy as the entire effects are not shown and it's hard to really explain the effect, but I'll try my best. If you see anything wrong, you can fix it. AnnaV 17:44, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

YuGiOh! Virtual Desktop[edit]

Hello, I just need to ask a question about the policy of this Wikia for an article I created. I recently made YuGiOh! Virtual Desktop and put some information down, but considering the program itself is very RARE, There's nowhere I can actually link to on the internet for others to try out.

I have the program on me right now, and wanted to know if uploading these exe and zip files related to the program would be permissible on the 'Upload Files' of YGOWikia...

  • I recently found out the website Xerocreative wasn't abandoned after all! I edited the page and provided appropiate links to the site. I was just wondering if a Wikilink of YuGiOh! Virtual Desktop could be linked on the front page, like below Yugioh: The Abridged series ?

Attack and Recieve[edit]

For some strange reason, this card gets deleted all the time. I KNOW this card exists, heck, even people have uploaded images for it. I've had to make this one twice (first one was a bit crap, that was justified but...) and for some reason it just doesn't exist the next day.
Is there some bug in the Wiki that's causing this? Is it being deleted because it's thought to be fake?

Not to butt in...but it helps if you spell the card's name right. A helpful mnemonic (although not always true) is:

I before E
Except after C
Or when used as an A
As in NEIGHBOUR and WEIGH.

Hope this helps. --Narchibald84 00:11, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
