Thanks![edit]

Thanks for listing Orlando's decklist for me. ~ Evil Yugi

Where did you...[edit]

Find the great pic of Testament of the Arcane Lords?--Pcouw 20:03, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Arcana Monsters[edit]

I know flipping a coin would be the more logical way but if you watch the anime when they're played the opponent chooses what their effect will be. If you don't believe me, ask TwoTailedFox. --Evil Yugi 16:59, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

  • This should be noted in the Gameplay section, since it's a difference that has the potential to confuse many --TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 17:17, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Ground Mole[edit]

Your edits conflict with all versions of the name I have seen. Plus, it does not follow the 'Elemental' name so far for the Neo-Spacians.

Aqua Dolphin? Flare Scarab? Why name is 'Grand Mole', when clearly 'Ground Mole' looks and sounds better?--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:24, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Not to butt in here, but it's being changed to Grand Mole everywhere because UDE has released the official checklist, and Grand Mole it is...unfortunately.
--Narchibald84 00:29, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Even though it's completely pointless. Not to disbelieve you, but 4kids is rarely the source for 'confirmed' info. I do believe even lists posted on there have had errors in them previously. Let's pray that this is one, eh?--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:41, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Force of the Breaker[edit]

I had changed the kanji for the Gembeasts, etc., to half-width forms for a reason...so that they would fit on one line!!! Half-width or full-width, they say the same thing...it's like comparing Arial Narrow to Arial. After I fix them this time...please leave them -- unless they're wrong, of course :)

--Narchibald84 00:29, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

White Night Fort[edit]

  • No it's a field because in episode 94 Alexis told Jaden he couldnt use traps as long as her white night field spell is in play.

AznWarlock[edit]

Thank you for replying my e-mail I really appreciate it!By the way any tips from how to upload pictures in this site.

AznWarlock[edit]

What I mean was how to put images in this site just in case it needs one like starter deck 2006.

Japanese Rulings[edit]

Hello "Deus Ex Machina". I'm wondering, where do you get the Japanese Card Rulings from? Deltaneos 12:55, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks these may come in useful. Deltaneos 01:40, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Your right about the Engrish. Can you tell me what is meant by,
The grain side indicatory monster 1 body which exists with respect to field is selected. (With respect to your own partner field you do not question)
Taken from "Darkness Approaches". Deltaneos 14:41, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Nice deciphering. Ever consider being a detective? Deltaneos (talk contribs) 02:52, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

TotAL Gallery[edit]

Would my cards.de list the Asian English under WCPS-EN? That's where I got the idea of a Super Rare. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 16:20, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Summoner of illusions[edit]

I have a question? This rule was never mention in UDE.com so

I wanted to know does Summoner of Illusions effect works to summon Cyber End Dragon?

Advanced Crystal Beasts[edit]

Alright, wil do. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 14:33, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Waitasec are their names the same just while their on the field or for all purposes? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 14:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

IRC[edit]

Wikia ACG[edit]

If you could leave a message on whether you support or do not support the ideas laid out here, it would be very much appreciated.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 22:50, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Cursed Twin Dolls[edit]

  • Although the supposed "Doll Tokens" aren't on the field in Yugis duel with Bakura later on Yugi had to send 14 monsters so explain where the other 3 came from. --Dark Yugi 16:28, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
  • This may seem like an obvious question but do spells and traps count? --Dark Yugi 14:35, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
  • The card's second effect --Dark Yugi 14:19, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Beetron 3 Spider Base[edit]

The effect that was listed was correct. See janime for it. --Dark Yugi 13:52, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Spike Egg[edit]

Do you know if any of this was confirmed? Info was added to a few of Blair's other cards as well, could you check them too? Thanks. -- Deltaneos 21:32, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

The Rainbow's Whereabouts[edit]

Whoops, kinda overlooked that. -- Deltaneos 18:11, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Prefixes to namespace[edit]

Sorry to bother but, have you read Yu-Gi-Oh!:Community Portal#Prefixes to Namespaces? Basically it would change Card Gallery, Card Rulings, Card Errata, Card Tips, Anime and Manga Appearances and Card Trivia: pages to a special type of page, like pages starting User: or Template:.

Advantages:
  1. We'll be able to filter the Recent Changes to just tips, rulings, whichever.
  2. When your searching for pages you can select any of these as a namespace to search in.
  3. Currently when you click random page, you're more likely to land in a page regarding a card that has many of the pages in the Other Card Information section. For example Elemental Hero Necroshade has all six pages in this section, so you have 7 chances of landing on a Necroshade page compared to Spike Seadra where you have only 1 chance of landing on a Spike Seadra info page.
  4. You'll be able to open a random Gallery or a random Tip etc. by using [[Special:Random/Card Gallery]] etc.
  5. We'll be able to merge the Card Navigation templates and will not need to include the name parameter. Just simply add {{Navigation}} or {{Index}} (whatever we call it) to the page. Whereas before you would have to type
{{Trivia
|name = Dark Magician
}}
In case where a name2 parameter would have been needed, we would just need to type {{Index|Dark Magician}} instead of,
{{Trivia
|name = Dark Magician (Arkana)
|name2 = Dark Magician
}}
The one template would hold for all pages in the Other Card Inforamtion section, so {{Index}} would be used in each page insted of Template:Rulings for Rulings, Template:Tips for Tips
Disadvantages
  1. You can't get random page to land in something completely random, it will only open a random page in the Main Space (which will exclude Galleries, Tips etc.). Unless you specify it be a random gallery, tip, etc.

We need feedback before we can do anything, so let us know if you have any thoughts (for or against). -- Deltaneos 12:26, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

'sokay, we've asked a couple of people anyway. But I suppose the most useful thing mentioned above is people usually use Special:Recentchanges to keep track of changes. If someone wanted wanted to just have Tips for example come up in the recent changes, they could just select Card Tips from the drop down. It's helpful for people who only focus on a particular section of the site. -- Deltaneos 17:18, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Don't worry I'm not trying to force a decision on you. You can leave this all aside if you wish. -- Deltaneos 17:20, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Naming anime card images[edit]

Hi again, I'd better fill you in on this; We've changed the naming policy for anime images. After -Anime we've to include a series ID Toei for the Toei animation DM for Yu-Gi-Oh! (Duel Monsters), GX for Yu-Gi-Oh! (Duel Monsters) GX and I think it's Movie for cards from Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light.

Examples filenames:

Blue-EyesWhiteDragon-JP-Anime-Toei.jpg
Blue-EyesWhiteDragon-EN-Anime-DM.jpg
Blue-EyesWhiteDragon-JP-Anime-DM.jpg
Blue-EyesWhiteDragon-JP-Anime-GX.jpg

-- Deltaneos 19:05, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

ACG[edit]

Your opinion is important, please give your support or opposition about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia joining the Wikia ACG here. --Dragon Slayer 06:26, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey[edit]

Hey could you put up a cleaner shot of Ice Water if possible. Thanks.

oh[edit]

Ohh, well then don't worry about it. I was asking you because I thought you actually owned the card.

Differences in OCG/TCG rulings[edit]

Is it the case that when a Japanese effect reads different than the TCG one, it always gets changed? There are a few examples of the rulings which still contradict. Are they incorrect?

Example: Rare Metal Dragon's OCG rulings state that it can be Set, as that's what its Japanese text read. But the Korean version which as far as I know was released after the English one's text reads:

이 카드는 일반 소환 / 세트할 수 없다.

Which when translated to Engrish is,

This card the general recall/the set is not a possibility of doing.

And translated to English,

This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.

So ah, any thoughts/research/investigation? -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

  • While we're on the subject... Why does Crystal Seer in the OCG allow your opponent to look at the cards, but not allowed to in the TCG?--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:28, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Time Machine[edit]

Hey a friend of mine wanted to know, is the "Return" written in the text of "Time Machine" considered as Special Summon? Dmaster (Contribs Count) 17:27, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Dark Simorgh[edit]

It's not in the official website's F&Q. Rather, people have asked this question on the OCG hotline and got the same answer back a few times, and it was finally written down on the Japanese wiki. I was suspicious of this too, so I phoned the hotline and was told it is an ignition that takes place in the hand, so this is the correct ruling currently. --Pizzaman 09:05, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello again.[edit]

I really want to say this is wrong...but I am not sure. Could you explain to me 1. is it right and 2. How does target "work"? I have a good idea, but nce again I am not sure. :/ Dmaster (Contribs Count) 05:17, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

  • I'm an a**hole and forgot to thank you for the info...THANK YOU (just go with it, I always try to be polite anyway :) ) Dmaster (Contribs Count) 02:28, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Intercept ruling:[edit]

Translation of this:

Subject title: Can Intercept be activated when a high level monster is Summoned without Tribute(s)?

Question: When a LV5/6 monster is Summoned without Tribute, can Intercept be activated to gain its control?
For example, my opponent Summons Lightning Gear - Ohka without Tributes. Can I activate Intercept?

Answer: Intercept can only be activated when 1 Tribute is given to perform a Tribute Summon.
Therefore, in cases such as the example you gave, Intercept cannot be activated.

Hope this helps. --Pizzaman 08:00, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanx[edit]

Thanx Deus for the forum answer but that part i knew already. What i ment was is it at all possible to use that aspect of the deck but focus mainly on one of the GB monsters. i understand that the way ive explained it is confusing ask me and ill try and clear it up. MajesticGladiator 00:19, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

WTH[edit]

I have two questions:

  1. Okay this past Saturday I was a tournament and in one of my duels I had BESD on the field, I attacked and my opponent activated Magic Cylinder. I thought I would have took damage but a judge said that Shining can negate Magic Cylinder...is that true, because I don't think it is?
  2. What happens to the card chosen by Different Dimension Capsule when you activate Return from the Different Dimension (if it is chosen). If it can be brought back will it be face-down?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate it! Dmaster (Contribs Count) 03:56, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

  1. And what about Mirror Force and Negate Attack (for BESD). Dmaster (Contribs Count) 04:59, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I have some more questions! (DEM:...f***...(sigh))
  1. First, I'd like you to look at my deck here and give me some pointers on what cards that work well in a "Cyberdark/Blue-Eyes/Dragon" deck (I am trying to beat Lightsworns, Gladiator Beasts, and possibily DAD, but I need to work on some swarming cards I think).
  2. Thourgh a quick "skim" could you tell me which cards are effected by my Skill Drain?
Thanks if advance (PS: Just so you know the only reason, besides "socializing", that I ask you these questions is you seem to know quite a bit about rulings). :) Dmaster (Contribs Count) 04:43, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
  1. Ahhh...S***! with the "skim" I meant my deck. I use Van'dalgyon because he is easy to bring out for me. And what cards could you recomend for me to use against LS's ,GB's , & DAD? Oh and would Shining negate Light-Imprisoning Mirror? Dmaster (Contribs Count) 01:44, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Thank you again, sorry for any frustration that I may have caused you. And please if you come up with anything that would help, please mention it (PS. I use TCG). Dmaster (Contribs Count) 01:12, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Work on Rulings pages[edit]

Gotta say, I love the work you're doing on the Rulings pages. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:09, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Using the same <ref> multiple times[edit]

You might find this handy. If you give a reference a name, you can use the same one multiple times. Here's the notation -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:38, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Restricting access to Rulings pages[edit]

Considering you make lots of edits to rulings page, your thoughts would be appreciated here; Forum:PROPOSAL: Make Card Rulings pages editable only by Registered Users‎. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:49, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Stone Statue of the Aztecs/Canyon[edit]

Last time I played WC08 I set SSotAs with Canyon on the field. My opponent attacked and the damage was only doubled do to SSotAs effect not Canyon because they occured at the same time. That's right, right. And if it is, please tell User:Chris427 (He has a Stone Statue OTK deck which revolves around those two cards). Dmaster (Contribs Count) 23:26, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Oh. I didn't know that. Thanks for clarifying it Deus. I actually never used it - it was an example for my deckmaking tutorial in progress. In that case, I will remove Canyon from the OTK factor. It is still possible to OTK using SSotAs with Ojama and All-Out Attacks, and I think I'll just focus on that. Thank you. Chris427 00:17, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey I saw Forum:Chain material and now I have three questions and a random one. 1. What will happen, if I can, activate Cyberdark Impact!? 2. Which would work better Polymerization or Super Polymerization. 3. Would this card work well in a Cyberdark Deck? 4. Are their any good cards that can negate or negate and reflect th effect of Power Bond? Thanks! Dmaster (Contribs Count) 21:35, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

English Zombie World Deck[edit]

How did you find out the American deck list for the English Zombie World deck? Is this list fact or only a rumor? Thanks.
