Re: Wikia Anime on Twitter

Hello. It's great that you're trying to help anime wiki communities grow. The Animanga Wiki aims to unite and promote anime and manga wikis, so it might be worth suggesting this there. After browsing the Twitter page, it seems to be mostly linking to Wikia competitions, not necessarily relevant to anime. And the suggestions page indicates it will be used for some anime trivia and info on upcoming series. That may be useful for helping wikis on new series find readers and contributers.

I do have a some questions:

• Aside from promoting wikis with information on new series, is there anything of benefit to individual wikis and their communities?
• Are there any other wikis which have joined?
• Is the Twitter page run by Wikia's helpers, or who?

I'm personally not too keen on the whole social network integration and competition sides of Wikia. However, I can still suggest it to the rest of the community and they might not feel the same way as me.
