Umm.[edit]

Yeah, you got a good point. But the point of the deck is to have no hand, so I was just thinking of cards that keeps you from drawing, and that was the first card that came to mind. Take your chances, Gamble a little, if it's dead draw then that sucks, but if you balance your deck, you may have a 50/50 chance.Vehicroidsrage 23:32, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

ya i guess but wouldn't a better card be offerings to the doomed that way you clear the way and stop yourself from drawing

is obelisk the tormenter {effect monster} legal in tournament play[edit]

i wonder cause it may still be a divine beast but it does not say on any banned list that it is actually illegal

  • Well it is an Eygption God, it's just a effect and game-friendly version of the cards with the card text. But to answer your question, "In December of 2008, V-Jump Subscribers in Japan received a Tournament Legal Version of this card aptly named Great Divine Soldier of Obelisk, with Alternate Art by Kazuki Takahashi. Upon it's release, it will mark the beginning of the Divine Attribute and Divine Beast type in the playable game."...so yeah, it is legal...for OCG. thanks Sammykill98 17:37, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

why is cathedral of nobles banned[edit]

it isn't that good it could be better but it does have alot of otk potential

Masked Chopper trivia + Cup of Ace draw engine[edit]

There seems to be vague similarities between their hair and weapons, but unless "Masked Chopper" is actually based on Barry the Chopper, it doesn't seem notable.

I dunno about the "Cup of Ace" engine. I would advise you to ask the user who has been removing it. One of you might be overlooking something. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:05, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

thx delta Sammykill98 21:54, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

"A Rival Appears!" and the Extra Deck[edit]

Are you refering to the opponent's monster you select or the monste you Special Summon? The opponent's monster you select can be any Fusion, Synchro or any other kind of monster. The one you Summon has to be from your hand, so it can't be a Synchro or Fusion. -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:25, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

THX delta but can you select a ritual monster to special summon as ritual monsters aren't nomi monsters

Sammykill98 18:58, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

By default Ritual Monsters are considered to be Semi-Nomi. So they must be Ritual Summoned before they can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard or removed from play zone by other cards. Since "A Rival Appears!" Special Summons from your hand, it can't be used on Ritual Monsters. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:13, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: Billy Deck[edit]

Just remove the term "TCG". Whoever originally wrote it probably meant the entire card game, rather than just the division played outside Asia. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:32, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Knospe's gender[edit]

Since it "evolves" into "Elemental Hero Poison Rose", it is infered that it is female. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:31, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

That's alright. I don't mind either way. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:07, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Tyrant Dragon's age[edit]

Its first release was in the Japanese set, Struggle of Chaos, which was released in March 1999. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:05, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Episode 67 title[edit]

The one on the episode 67 page is right. Try looking at the title on the episode 68 page again. It should be fixed by now. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:19, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Black Rose trivia[edit]

Are you talking about Card Trivia:Black Rose Dragon? It says it's the first to have a specific support card, not the only. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:47, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

"Thorn of Hatred" appeared in the anime before that set was released. Although "Crimson Fire" appeared in the anime before "Thorn of Hatred", it didn't specifically support "Red Dragon Archfiend" back then. So the first card shown to specifically support any of the Five Dragons in any media is "Thorn of Hatred". -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:00, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
In the anime, "Crimson Fire" didn't require "Red Dragon Archfiend". In real life they changed to require him.
So the timeline of appearances is like this:
card "Crimson Fire" "Thorn of Malice" "Crimson Fire" and "Thorn of Malice"
appears Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - Episode 026 Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - Episode 040 Released in Raging Battle
notes Effect doesn't mention RDA Effect mentions BRD "Crimson Fire" has its effect to changed to require RDA.
Five Dragon Support? No Yes No
So "Thorn of Malice" is the first card to have an effect that supports any of the Five Dragons. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:30, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Actually come to think of it the "/Assault Modes" came first, if they count. "Crimson Fire" was released in RGBT before the "Saviors" appeared in the anime, so it was a Five Dragon support card before the "Savior" monsters. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:26, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

RE: Mill deck[edit]

The deck in the deck list here is rather inexpensive, with the exception of a few cards, and is probably one of the funest deck I have ever used. Dmaster (Talk Contribs Count) 04:05, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Well for that deck you have to lose your hand every so often so I recommend a Revival/Synchro theme. Dmaster (Talk Contribs Count) 05:35, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Level Tuning query[edit]

Only face-up monsters you control when resolving "Level Tuning" are affected. Monsters Summoned afterwards will not have their Level reduced. (Card Rulings:Level Tuning) So "Stardust Dragon's" Level won't be affected. -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:35, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Zero Level[edit]

I know you asked D.Kaiser, but to answer your question monsters cannot go be low Level 1, and IF they were to release Dark Synchros as Dark Synchros then they cannot go any higher the Negative Level 1 cause higher then Negative Level 1 would be Level 0~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 17:35, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Actually it does say in the Rulings of Demotion, read the first part of the First Ruling "A monster's Level cannot go below 1." Therefore you wouldn't be able to equip it to a Level 1 or Level 2 monsters~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 17:42, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

RE: armitael TCG release[edit]

The information was probably received from another site like shriekvtcg, in which case he'd probably get a picture from a magazine or something which would say it's coming out but the number is unconfirmed. Dmaster (Talk Contribs Count) 00:30, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

  • From what I know we use shriekv's info most of the time. Dmaster (Talk Contribs Count) 05:03, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Deletion template.[edit]

Add either {{Delete}} or {{Delete|reason=whatever reason}}, replacing whatever reason with the reason it should be deleted. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:19, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Guardian Ceal Q[edit]

No. "Guardian Ceal" only needs "Shooting Star Bow - Ceal" on the field to be Summoned. It doesn't need it there to remain on the field. -- Deltaneos (talk) 10:42, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Dark Creator Return[edit]

i didn't mean because it isn't a legit deck but because there isn't much there, there isn't any recommended cards or stuff thereof, plus it probably should go in the Dark Creator Deck Page, don't you think?~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 21:29, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean by chaining Exoida's effect to Solemn or Divine?~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 21:29, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

It's an Instant Win Condition, you can't even chain either Solemn Judgment or Divine Wrath to card effects that bring Instant Win Conditions, so not sure why you are asking about it being the other way around cause IWC's can neither chain to cards or be chained to, basically once an IWC happens, it happens there is no way to stop it. hope that helps~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 21:37, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: eatgaboon[edit]

Nope, because ?marks don't have any actual Attack or Defense until after it applies~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 03:26, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Re:Solemn Judgment[edit]

Solemn Judgment to my knowledge, you can have 3 in a deck~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 22:21, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Because Mirror Force has no cost to activation, other then when the opponent declares an attack. Solemn you NEED and HAVE to pay half of your life points to activate it.~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 22:41, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Question on Tributes[edit]

Yes, you may Tribute cards like "Lava Golem" and cards you used "Brain Control" on. (Unless it's specifically stated on the card that you can't. e.g. "Mind Control".) -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:00, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Thank You[edit]

Hey, thanks for the message you left on my discussion page concerning the Harpie Deck. I'll be sure to keep your advice in mind when I add more to it. Do you think adding a Magician of Faith would be a good idea? I thought it might be ok, but I'm not sure, and am looking for an opinion.

Are you interested in dueling me via IRC Channel? Please let me know, I'd be glad to verse you.

Thank you again for your help Black rose27 21:17, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Most expensive card[edit]

The SJC "Cyber-Stein" was auctioned off for $20000 (US), but the bidder didn't pay. I think it was sold for $7000 afterwards. To the best of my knowledge that's the most expensive a card has ever been sold for. But nowadays its not worth as much since "Cyber-Stein" has been mass released in DB2. I don't know what's currently the most expensive, but I'd say it's one of the World Championship prize cards. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:11, September 5, 2009 (UTC)

Magician of Faith/Dueling[edit]

This deck is going to be in Traditional Format, my dragon deck is already in Advanced. I am also making a Psychic Deck in Advanced, so if you could take a look at my discussion again, I left a message on there with a few questions. I was wondering if you could help me, since you're good at making decks. Ok, you want to duel tomorrow? Just message me with a time I won't be busy before 5:00pm.

I'll add you to my friends list, ok? Black rose27 04:32, September 5, 2009 (UTC)

Psychic Deck[edit]

Thanks, I'll base my deck off of that list, it was a big help.

Just click on the IRC Channel under the search bar. Go to irc.wikia.com (it is in the first line of the second paragraph of text). Enter a username then scroll down the list of chatrooms until you find #wikia-yugioh. Click on it, and then "login". Type /join #yu-gi-oh-duels. Uh don't think that would work, I'll be somewhere else at that time. We'll play it by ear.

Re:dragon treasure ultimate[edit]

The second series anime (where Ultimate came from) came out in April of 2000. The set that had Dragon Treasure in it came out a month later. I highly doubt Ultimate Dragon made its debut first, but I may be wrong. --Bluedog (Talk) 06:44, September 13, 2009 (UTC) Actually, disregard that, I forgot about the manga. Still don't think it's Ultimate Dragon's head, though. --Bluedog (Talk) 06:47, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Point-to-Point Transfer[edit]

Hi Sammykill98. I see you've flagged the article Point-to-Point Transfer for deletion. I don't see anything immediatly wrong with the page. Could you explain why you think it should be deleted on its talk page or add a reason to the {{Delete}} notice you've added. You can do this by changing it to {{Delete|reason=reason goes here}}, replacing "reason goes here" with your own reason of course. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:41, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

"Peten the Dark Clown" & "Emergency Teleport"[edit]

I'm not entirely sure what scenario you're describing. Could you tell me the exact situation and I'll see if I can answer then? Thank you. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:16, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Catastor Vs Stardust Dragon[edit]

  • According to Stardust Dragon's own rulings (both OCG and TCG) it's effect (the 1st one that negates) cannot be activated during the Damage Step. Catastor's effect happens during the Damage Step, before the Damage Calculation.~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 23:26, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
  • In regards to Stardust Assault Mode's first effect (negation effect) i am not 100% sure as to which would work, because it doesn't state if SD/AM's effect can activate during the Damage Step~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 23:26, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

RE:Bad Reaction Deck[edit]

I'd use a lot of cards like Rain of Mercy, Fire Princess, Upstart Goblin, Path to Destiny, and Gift Card. A Cat of Ill Omen may also work well. D.Kaiser (Talk Contribs Count) 03:05, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

RE:original attack query[edit]

The monster's Original ATK is treated as 0 while it is on the field. If the monster has an effect that changes its Original ATK (like "King of the Skull Servants"), then you use the changed value. If the monster has an effect that changes its ATK (just ATK, not Original ATK) like "Tragoedia" or "Gren Maju Da Eiza", then you use 0.

The monster's Original ATK is treated as ? while it is not on the field (in the hand/Deck/Graveyard/"Removed Zone"/etc). --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 20:28, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

RE:ancient city Qs[edit]

You can only send a "Crystal Beast" card from your Monster Card Zone to the Graveyard. "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" specifies that you must "send 1 "Crystal Beast" monster you control to the Graveyard ", and "Crystal Beast" cards in the Spell & Trap Card Zone are not treated as monsters. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 00:53, October 24, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Tuningware OTK/FTK[edit]

Does the One Turn Kill revolve around "Tuningware" or is it just something that helps. I see a "Tuningware", "Machine Duplication" combo is mentioned on that page. If that's all there is to it, I suppose that's enough mention. If there is a popular ONK/FTK revolving arounf "Tuningware" that isn't already mentioned, feel free to include it, if you know enough about it. -- Deltaneos (talk) 04:39, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

re: Stardust Vs BTH[edit]

Stardust does because Bottom Trap Hole states to destroy, which Stardust can negate~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 07:21, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Face Down Monsters don't have effects (with the exception of Big Shield Gardna & Mid Shield Gardna) that prevents spells from effecting them, so Shield Crush would destroy Stardust. The reason is is because in both Shield Gardna's, they have "Negate the activation of a Spell Card that designates this 1 face-down monster. At that time, flip this card into face-up Defense Position." in their Effect, which Stardust Dragon does not have.~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 16:47, November 15, 2009 (UTC)
