Questions for the candidate

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve as an administrator. Please answer the following four questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?

A: Solving disputes, managing character and episode articles (currently primarily ARC-V information), and if they haven't been done by the time that I've watched the episodes, writing the Duel scripts, which will require more careful study of the template on my part. (Additionally, I will have to start using American English when I edit).

2. What do you consider to be your best contributions, and why?

A: Hmm...tough choice. The large quantity of episode and chapter summaries that I put out would be up there, but I actually consider the information that I added to the wiki regarding Pendulum Summoning to be my best contributions.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: Previously I usually got either snarky or ignorantly polite, though if I felt that I was going too far, I usually asked the admins for assistance so that I didn't step over the line. As an admin, I will have to tone down the snark and solve issues more politely.

4. Do you regularly contribute to any other wikis? Are you an administrator or bureaucrat on any of them, or do you have accounts with similar roles on forums, blogs, etc.? Could you provide links, if so?

A: I'm not an admin on any of the other wikis, and it's this one that takes up most of my time. The other wiki that I generally contribute to is the Halo Nation.

Oppose

• While I'm placing this under "Oppose", this is primarily down to several factors combined together, rather than one singular issue. You're the most junior of the three candidates, and while that isn't a bad thing in of itself, it does lend you a disadvantage in experience. That is temporary and will solve itself in time. Another issue is that a not-insignificant number of your edit comments have been provocative, and could be seen as counter-productive, possibly even triggering altercations with fellow editors. You're not a bad editor, but I do feel that a long-term improvement is needed in how you present yourself and your contributions for you to be considered for this role.--TwoTailedFox (talk) 16:42, September 24, 2015 (UTC)
