Bochi (ボチ Bochi) is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. He is an alien currently in the care of Manya Atachi, who initially came to Mutsuba Town to eliminate the Sogetsu Clan, until he had a change of heart after coming in contact with Manabu Sogetsu.
Although Manabu's victory had given the local team the win, the Duels continued due to Yuhi Ohdo wanting to Duel and Manabu being judged as not part of the UTS team, but Chupataro Kaburagi suddenly broke through the wall. Chupataro demanded to Rush Duel, and after learning he had incapacitated London, Bochi moved to oppose Chupataro, but transformed back into his dog form, having used all his power during his Rush Duel with Manabu, so Yudias Velgear, another alien, accepted Chupataro's challenge instead. During the Rush Duel Chupataro Summoned "Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan", and a substance emerged from his Duel Disk and entered "Meeeg-chan", materializing her in the physical world. Meeeg-chan mistook Bochi for Shoruta, a dog from her farm, and chased him down, berating Bochi for not shepherding her as he was supposed to. She then mistook Yudias for an evil alien and took over the Duel for Chupataro, physically attacking Yudias and blowing Bochi away with the force of the attack. Although Meeeg-chan attacked Yudias during his turn, he was able to defeat her, causing her to disappear after the Rush Duel, while MIK took Chupataro away.
After Manya worked with Mutsuba Cable to cover the incident up, Bochi accompanied her and Kirishima London to the UTS officeMain Office to check on the injured Yudias. Manabu and Nyandestar also visited to ask if Yudias knew where Zuwijo, Yudias' former commander and the one behind Chupataro's actions, was hiding, though Yudias didn't answer and the twins convinced Manabu to leave. After he had, Yudias asked to learn Rush Dueling from the basics again, so Manya decided to subject him to her "special training from hell", training Bochi knew was made-up, but with which he dutifully assisted. Afterwards Bochi accidentally switched on a recording of Yuamu tricking Yuhi by checking her Graveyard, giving Yudias the idea to find Zuwijo by understanding what he was thinking. They visited Chupataro's apartment, where the sight of Mutsuba Tower caused Yudias to realize Zuwijo was there to send a message, and Bochi accompanied them to Mutsuba Tower to find Zuwijo there with Mitsuko Hiramori. Yudias and Zuwijo argued over how to end the war in the Velgear Star Cluster, a war Bochi was aware of and had heard could spread to other systems soon, something Manya and London asked to be kept away from Earth. Yudias and Zuwijo Rush Dueled as they were unable to settle their differences, and to Bochi's disgust (enough to revert him to his dog form) Mitsuko showed them a Duel Disk that had been exposed to the Earthdamar, which Zuwijo used to materialize "Voidvelgr Hecatoncheir". To Bochi's dismay, Yuhi attempted to produce another Earthdamar for Yudias to use, though Yudias reassured Yuhi he had received his feelings, a sentiment Bochi agreed with. Yuamu later suggested to Manya they could use the broadcast to pacify the townspeople, so Bochi accompanied Manya and London to the bottom of the tower to claim the sights to simply be special effects. However, Zuwijo materialized "Voidvelgr Requiem" and clad himself in the monster, spreading the effects of the Earthdamar across the town. More monsters began to partially materialize, so Manya warned the audience to stay away from their Decks and Duel Disks. To Bochi's shock, Asaka Mutsuba approached Mutsuba Tower and carved into its side with her massive Heavy Cavalry, extracting the Earthdamar and dematerializing the monsters. Yudias eventually defeated Zuwijo, and Bochi, Manya, and London returned to the top of the tower to find Yuhi had fallen unconscious due to his soul being drawn into "Requiem". After Yuhi awoke he asked if Zuwijo was really a villain, and Yudias claimed Zuwijo was hiding something. ===Second Arc===Manya and Mutsuba Cable TV assisted MIK in covering-up the Rush Duel between Yudias and Zuwijo. To Bochi's shock, their broadcast was briefly interrupted by a protestor claiming the destruction hadn't been planned for TV before MIK agents took him away. Soon afterwards, Kirishima disappeared, leaving Bochi and Manya to do his work; Yuamu called to ask to speak to Kirishima, noting his absence was as she had thought and arousing Manya's suspicions. Bochi also learned something strange was happening in the Alien Residential Area, so he and Manya infiltrated Badloon Castle and disguised themselves as Rovian Bandits after Bochi knocked two of the Bandits unconscious with his Wicked Fist of the Beloved Dog technique. After intruders were discovered in the castle, Bochi and Manya joined the Bandits, including Yuna Goha, on the roof, witnessing Rovian Kirishima introduce herself to the twins and challenge them to a 2 vs. 1 Rush Duel. Bochi was surprised to learn Rovian shared London's surname, and had to be elbowed to keep his cover by Manya. After Rovian defeated the twins and Yuna drained their Duel Power, Manya warned the twins to close their eyes before throwing a flashbang, allowing her and Bochi to rescue them and Valvelgear. Once they were on the outskirts of Badloon Castle, Manya gave the twins some of her Duel Power to allow them to move and she and Bochi revealed themselves, explaining why they were there. Bochi warned the twins the last train was about to leave and tried to get the twins to board it, but Yuhi refused to leave without Yudias, who had been transformed into a shirt-like form and was still at Badloon Castle. With the twins set on rescuing Yudias, Manya reminded them they needed to both do so before the last train arrived and find another way in, as the Rovian Bandits would be be after them, so Bochi suggested cutting through Under-Underground Town, where he had lived before meeting Manya. After Manya and Yuhi noticed a restaurant selling tsukemen, the group stopped to recuperate, abusing the free first bowl policy of the restaurant by feeding tsukemen to the Velgearians aboard Valvelgear. Incensed, the chef revealed himself as Menjaburo Omori, a Rovian Bandit, and challenged them to a Rush Duel. Manya accepted the challenge, catching Menjaburo's attention with her knowledge of tsukemen. During the Duel, Bochi explained Manya's monsters and acting was in connection with her role as Hanako the Naruto to the Ohdo twins. When it became clear Manya would lose, the twins told Bochi they would sneak away before the Rush Duel ended, and Bochi assisted in distracting Menjaburo by cheering Manya on as she deduced the ingredients in Menjaburo's tsukemen before he defeated her. The twins successfully rescued Yudias, but they missed the last train home, though fortunately Manya had taken the precaution of calling MIK. MIK sent Manabu and Nyandestar to rescue them with a handcar; Bochi and Yuhi operated the handcar back to the surface. Bochi, Manya, Yuamu, Yuhi, Manabu and Nyandestar tried several methods to restore Yudias (though Bochi was largely less than helpful) but initially only succeeded in hiding his condition from Tazaki and Yagi. After they tried reinflating Yudias, Bochi struck the air compressor Manabu had brought, bursting the balloon and blasting Yudias into the sky, and Bochi pursued Yudias with the others, tracking him by the cards that fell from him. Bochi was tasked with finding Yudias' scent after they lost his trail, but took them to a food stall instead, though fortunately they picked up more of Yudias' cards and Bochi claimed credit for leading them there. Eventually they lost track of Yudias near the Mutsuba Recycling Plant, interrupting Asaka Mutsuba's lecture on the plant to find Yudias being fed into the recycling machine and coming out as a pair of gloves. Distraught over the loss of Yudias, the group returned to UTS with the gloves and Yudias' cards. Tazaki then arrived with a delivery for Yudias, but before Tazaki could take the gloves, Yudias was restored from the contents of the Kappa Heavenly Cleaning box, much to Bochi's joy. Afterwards, Yudias explained he had transformed naturally from exhaustion when he reached Badloon Castle. The Rovian Bandits then arrived with the intention of purchasing the UTS Main Office, though eventually it was agreed that Yudias would Rush Duel Rovian over whether they would consider her offer. To Bochi's shock, Yudias was only able to use two of his Monster Zones due to the thruster Valvelgear had lost at Badloon Castle, but he was able to make a comeback with his own Equip Spell Card, "Galactica Xiphos", which he claimed Zuwijo had given him. MIK and the Rovian Bandits soon detected something approaching that Rovian and her Chapeauian Camos claimed to be the Great King of Terror.<ref name="ep25">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh!
