The '''Ancient Treasure''' is a [[series]] of cards used by [[Tenzen Yanagi]] and [[Yusei Fudo]] briefly in the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's]]'' anime. The series consists of [[Rock]] monsters with 0 [[ATK]] that inflicts [[effect damage]] to its owner, while some of the associated [[Spell]]s (except for "[[Curse Reflection Doll]]" and "[[Triangle O]]") feature negative effects (e.g. [[pay]]ing [[Life Point]]s, [[discard]]ing, etc.).
These cards are based on ancient objects from various locales around the world. Its theme would later be reused in the form of the "[[Chronomaly]]" [[archetype]] by [[Trey]] in ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL]]''. Per [[Yu-Gi-Oh! (which is acknowledged in {{episode|ZEXAL - Episode 034]]|34|ref}}, where these cards appear in the Ancient Treasure series is tied to background while dialogue explains the inspiration behind the "ChronomalyChronomalies" archetype).
