* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 034|episode 34]], [[Trey]] [[overlay]]s his "[[Chronomaly Colossal Head]]", "[[Chronomaly Golden Jet]]" and "[[Orichalcum Chain]]" to [[Xyz Summon]] this card. It attacks and destroys [[Shark]]'s "[[Black Ray Lancer]]", [[detach]]ing an [[Xyz Material]] to [[Special Summon]] the destroys "Black Ray Lancer" from the [[graveyard]] and attack it again. Shark later destroys "Orichalcum Chain" via "[[Skull Kraken]]" to take control of this card. Shark then attacks Trey directly. Trey attempts to take control of "Skull Kraken" via "[[", but Shark activates "", taking away the target of Trey' card, making the direct attack successful. Trey then attacks this card with "[[Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut]]", but Shark chains "[[Plate Salvage]]", negating the effect of "[[Sunken Kingdom]]", reducing "Shark Drake's" [[ATK]] and in turn, reducing the damage he took from "Crystal Chrononaught's" effect. He then attacks "Crystal Chrononaught" with "Shark Drake", but Trey activates the effect of "Colossal Head" from the graveyard, switching it to [[defense position]]. Shark then activates the effect of this card, detaching it's last remaining Xyz Material to revive "Crystal Chrononaught", reduce it's ATK by 1000 and attacks it again. Trey activates "[[Chronomaly Ley Line Power]]" to switch their ATK, but Shark chains "[[Sea King's Verdict]]" to negate and destroy the trap, allowing "Shark Drake" to freely attack and destroy "Crystal Chrononaught", winning Shark the duel.

* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 057|episode 57]], Shark Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "[[Hammer Shark]]" and "[[Tripod Fish]]". It attacks and destroys [[Quattro]]'s "[[Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder]]". Shark detaches an overlay unit to attack it again, but Quattro activates the effect of "[[Gimmick Puppet - Night Joker]]", removing "Shark Drake's" target. Quattro then Xyz Summons "[[Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings]]" and equips it with "[[Destiny Strings]]", sending "[[Gimmick Puppet - Necro Doll]]" from his deck to the graveyard, allowing him to attack this card 8 times. Quattro then activate's the effect of "Gimmick Puppet of Strings", detaching an overlay unit to place a [[String Counter]] on this card.

* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 061|episode 61]], Shark overlays "[[Shocktopus]]", "[[Spear Shark]]" and "[[Two-Head Shark]]" to Xyz Summon this card.

* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 062|episode 062]], Shark attacks and destroys [[Yuma]]'s "[[Gogogo Ghost]]" with this card. He then detaches an overlay unit to revive "Gogogo Ghost" and decrease it's ATK by 1000, forcing it to battle again. However due to the effect of "Gogogo Ghost", it revived "Gogogo Golem" and switched to defense position. Yuma later attacks this card with "Gogogo Golem" powered up via "[[Golden Form]]". Shark then performs Chaos Xyz Evolution, overlaying this card with it's remaining overlay units to Xyz Summon "Number C32: Shark Drake Weiss". This card is later banished from the graveyard to activate "Shark Drake Weiss's" effect. After Shark loses, Astral claims this card.
