- Sinister Serpent helps with any discard cost. Discard it for "Lightning Vortex", "Spiritual Energy Settle Machine", just anything requiring discarding cards from your hand.
- You can also use Sinister Serpent in combination with The Dark Door so that you will always have a monster to protect you, and even if your opponent has more than one monster, they won't be able to attack your LP directly.
