* This is monster appears in the first artworks of "Release" and " Xyz Monster to be released as well as being the first Xyz Monster to be released as a member of any Duel Terminal ArchetypeReversal".
* This is one of the first card-s of Type Xyz Monster to be released in the Duel Terminal** However it is only the second LIGHT - Xyz Monster to be released. The first was "Number 39: UtopiaStartup!!".
* According to the Master Guide entry on Duel Terminal, this monster is the combination of "Vylon Stigma", "Vylon Tesseract" and "Vylon Pentachloro", after the "Vylon" were corrupted by the thoughts of the "Steelswarm" due to the influence of "Gishki Noellia". "Disigma" then goes on to attack the "Gem-Knight", "Gusto", "Gishki", and "Laval" tribes. After absorbing several of its warriors, this monster is ultimately defeated by "Gem-Knight Pearl".** This monster's ability to absorb others is reflected in its effect. It is also designed to counter the first Xyz other Duel Terminal archetypes, which are all Attribute-based.** This monster's defeat by "Gem-Knight Pearl" is also reflected in its effect, since "Pearl" is a Non-Effect Monster to require , and its ATK is higher than this card's.** This monster's materials also match the storyline, since it was formed by three monsters, all of which are Xyz MaterialLevels4. The animation of Duel Terminal shows them stacking themselves above each other, with "Stigma" on the top, "Pentachloro" at the bottom, and "Tesseract" in between.
* This card's effect is similar the first "Vylon" Xyz Monster to be released as well as being the first Xyz Monster to "be released as a member of any Ally of Justice CatastorDuel Terminal" archetype.
* This card's name comes from Disigma (also known as Sampi); an archaic letter of the Greek alphabet which stands for the "ss" or "ts" sound.
** Its body The monster's arms also resembles resemble the letter.
* This card seems to be Although not easily seen on the Xyz Summon of "Vylon Stigma", "Vylon Tesseract" and "Vylon Pentacro". Its lower part resembles Tesseract and Pentacro while its body resembles Stigma's. Also, they're all Level 4 monster, as same as this card's Rank.** Also, they're all released in Duel Terminal - Xyz Startup. * This card's effect is designed artwork due to counter the other Duel Terminal Archetypesfrontal perspective, which are all Attribute-based. The story of the Duel Terminal during Duel Terminal - Xyz Startup is that the "Vylon" Alliance (i.e the alliance between the five Archetypes) had won the war against the "Steelswarm", but the fighting between the four other tribes had not ended. The Vylon wish for this monster actually has a utopian world, and as that does not seem possible, they decide to eradicate life on the Duel Terminal Planetbeak.  * This card design looks similar to the "Temporal Machine Gods", and it also shares their Fairy-Type. * Interestinglycan be more easily be seen in ZEXAL, where this card shares the same ATK and DEF as Dark Magician and the same ATK as Elemental Hero Neos, Stardust Dragon, and Number 39: Utopia, the Signature Monsters of the protagonists in all four anime series, despite being viewed as monster is shown at an antagonist because of its Archetype's desire to wipe out all life on its planet. **But it isn't so interesting if you know about monsters like Cyber-Tech Alligator, Seiyaryu, Summoned Skull, etc... Because there are many monsters that share the ATK of the Signature Monsters, but have different DEF points. The only monsters that HAVE the same ATK & DEF of the Signature Monsters are shown on the 2500 ATK Monster Cards listangle.
