Crow [[Draw a card|draws]] "[[Fake Feather]]". Lazar activates "[[Late Penalty]]" on Crow's Standby Phase. Now whenever Crow has no monsters during his Standby Phase, he will be forbidden from conducting his Battle Phase this turn. Crow [[Normal Summon]]s "[[Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn]]" without Tribute via its own effect in Attack Position (ATK: 2000/900). Crow [[Set]]s "Fake Feather". He then activates "[[Reload]]", shuffling the 1 card in his [[hand]] into his [[Main Deck|Deck]] and redrawing a new card. Crow draws "[[Trap Stun]]". He then Sets "Trap Stun"and ends his turn. On Crow's End Phase, the effect of "[[Jester Confit]]" activates, returning itself and "Blackwing - Sirocco of Dawn" back to their owners' [[hand]]s. Since "Jester Lord" is now the only monster on the field again, its effect becomes active again. Since there are five Spell/Traps on the field, "[[Jester Lord]]'s" [[ATK]] increases by 5000("Jester Lord": 0 → 5000/0).

Lazar draws. He then activates "[[Card of Distrain]]" selecting the face-down "Trap Stun", believing it to be "Fake Feather". Now until the End Phase, Crow can't use the card that Lazar targeted for the effect of "Card of Distrain" and if Crow activates a Spell or Trap Card this turn, he will take 800 damage. Lazar [[attack]]s Crow directly with "[[Jester Lord]]", but Crow activates "[[Fake Feather]]", sending "[[Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn]]" from his hand to the Graveyard and targeting the "[[Imperial Manners]]" in Lazar's Graveyard for the effect of "Fake Feather". The latter card's effect then becomes the same as the effect of "Imperial Manners", destroying "Jester Lord". Crow then takes 800 damage due to the effect of "[[Card of Distrain]]" (Crow: 2000 → 1200 Life Points). Lazar [[Special Summon]]s "[[Jester Confit]]" via its own effect in Attack Position (ATK: 0/0). He then equips "Jester Confit" with "[[Spirit Burner]]". Now once per turn, Lazar can switch the Battle Position of the monster equipped with "Spirit Burner". Also if the equipped monster returns from the field to the hand and "Spirit Burner" is sent to the Graveyard, Crow will take 600 damage. If "Spirit Burner" is in Lazar's Graveyard during his Draw Phase, Lazar can add it right back to his hand instead of conducting his Draw Phase. Lazar then activates the effect of "Spirit Burner", changing "Jester Confit" to [[Defense Position]] (DEF: . Lazar intends to use the effects of "Jester Confit" and "Spirit Burner" to create a cycle of damage on Crow until his Life Points reach 0). Lazar ends his turn. On Lazar's End Phase, the effect of "Card of Distrain" wears off, making the set "Trap Stun" usable for Crow again.

Crow draws "[[Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North]]". Since Crow had no monsters on his side of the field during his Standby Phase, "Late Penalty" forbids Crow from conducting his Battle Phase this turn. Crow then activates "[[Trap Stun]]", negating the effects of all other [[Trap Card]]s this turn. Crow Normal [[Summon]]s "[[Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North]]" in Attack Position (ATK: 1300/0). Crow then activates the effect of "Blizzard the Far North" to [[Special Summon]] "[[Blackwing - Bora the Spear]]" from his [[Graveyard]] in Defense Position (DEF: 1700/800). Crow then uses tunes both of his monsters together to [[Synchro Summon]] "[[Blackwing Armed Wing]]" in Attack Position (ATK: 2300/1000). "Armed Wing" then attacks "[[Jester Confit]]" with the former's effect increasing its ATK by 500 during the Damage Step only (ATK"Blackwing Armed Wing": 2300 → 2800/1000). "Armed Wing" then destroys "Jester Confit". "Armed Wing" then inflicts Piercing Damage to Lazar due to its effect. (Lazar: 4000 → 1200 Life Points).
