- This card did not require one to pay 800 Life Points as a cost.
- In episode 30, Yami Yugi plays this card against Mai Valentine. He takes control of Mai's "Harpie's Pet Dragon" and Tributes it via the effect of "Catapult Turtle". This inflicts half of its attack points to Mai and destroys her "Mirror Wall".
- In episode 33, this card appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monsters and Spell and Trap Cards.
- In episode 39, Yami Yugi plays this card against Maximillion Pegasus. He takes control of Pegasus' "Relinquished", including the equipped "Jigen Bakudan". He then uses "Dark Magic Ritual" to Ritual Summon "Magician of Black Chaos" by Tributing "Jigen Bakudan" and "Dark Magician". Once Yami ends his turn the effect of this card expires and "Relinquished" is returned to Pegasus' side of the field.
