Cards
The game currently includes 11,558 cards (3 Alternate Art cards), going up to Power of the Elements. The card pool is updated monthly, usually (but not always) with cards that have received release in both OCG and TCG. Some popular cards are given Summoning/activation animations.
Older cards that are available in both OCG and TCG but are missing from Master Duel include:
- Cards with unconventional effects like "Bait Doll", "Convulsion of Nature", "Double Spell", "Harmonic Oscillation", "Mooyan Curry", "Question", and "Spirit Elimination".
- Cards whose only artworks were drawn by Kazuki Takahashi: "Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon", "Exodia, the Legendary Defender", "Magician of Black Chaos MAX", "Neo Kaiser Glider", "Palladium Oracle Mana", "Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon", and "Shiba-Warrior Taro".
- "Pole Position", as it easily causes infinite loops.
- "Elemental HERO Air Neos" and "Spellbinding Circle".
