Card Rulings:Cloudian - Acid Cloud
- If “Cloudian - Acid Cloud” is attacked while in face-down Defense Position and it is flipped face-up by the attack, it is destroyed by its effect after damage calculation.
Japanese Rulings
- When successfully summoned, the cards counts themselves when determining the number of Fog Counters to be put on.
Cloudian Rulings
- The following rulings apply to: Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon, Cloudian - Acid Cloud, Cloudian - Altus, Cloudian - Cirrostratus, Cloudian - Turbulence, Cloudian - Nimbusman and Cloudian - Storm Dragon.
- If a “Cloudian” Monster is attacked while in face-down Defense Position and it is flipped face-up by the attack, it is destroyed by its effect after damage calculation.
- The "selfdestruct" effect when changed to Defense Position is a Trigger Effect that can be chained to.
- If Final Attack Orders and Stumbling are both active a Cloudian will be changed to Defense Position, but is then immediatly changed back to Attack Position, before it is destroyed by its own effect. The same happens if cards like Enemy Controller, Labyrinth of Nightmare, Earthquake, No Entry!!, Windstorm of Etaqua or Curse of Anubis are activated while Final Attack Orders is in play.
- If a Cloudian is changed to Defense Position during the turn Gorgon's Eye is activated, it will not be destryed by its own effect, but it will be destroyed at the beginning of the next turn if it is not changed to Attack Position.
- If Cloudian - Acid Cloud, Cloudian - Altus, Cloudian - Cirrostratus, Cloudian - Turbulence, or Cloudian - Storm Dragon is Summoned while Stumbling or Level Limit - Area B is in play, you can retain priority to activate its Ignition Effect before it is changed to Defense Position and destroyed by its own effect.
- When Cloudian - Acid Cloud, Cloudian - Altus, Cloudian - Cirrostratus or Cloudian - Turbulence is Summoned, it does count itself when determining the number of Fog Counters to be put on.
