"Reunion" is the sixty-second episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on June 11, 2023.

Yuhi, Yuamu, and That Guy have been thrown out of the strange dimension they were trapped in. They find themselves in a near-future city that is somewhat similar to Mutsuba Town. It seems that this is the world That Guy lived in. As That Guy talks about the reason why he created Rush Duels, he runs into a certain person along the way.

Summary

In space, Yuga's Road can be seen ascending with Otes. The Goha president is surprised that Yuga has created a hyperspace by closing the distance at lightspeed. Otes worries that if he and Yuga keep going at this speed, they will be done for. But Yuga interrupts him that he knows and Otes knows just as well what he's going to do. Otes is impressed that Yuga claims to know his feelings. The Metal on Yuga's Road begins to break as Yuga and Otes continue ascending.

Back in Goha City, the Ohdo cats marvel as Yuhi realizes that something is off with this town. Yuamu says it feels like Mutsuba Town, but it's not. Yuga sighs that it has been so long and sees that there are so many Kaizos. He tells the Ohdo twins that this is a world far, far beyond their time. Yuamu gasps that this is the future. Yuhi assures her that they went to the Velgear Cluster at the edge of the universe and going to the future shouldn't be all that surprising. Yuamu notices Yuhi's tail wagging and informs him that it's telling a different story. Yuhi yells that he is and is amazed that they're in the future. Yuamu laments that just when she got accustomed to being a card, they ended up in the future and she can't wrap her tail around this. Yuga tells her that the system that turns people into cards may be the process of converting people from three to two dimensions is still imperfect and if space is unstable, then time would be too. Yuamu says it makes sense. Yuhi interrupts the conversation as he excitedly thinks there's got to be flying cars and TV phones. Yuamu stops him since he's already seen crazier things, like spaceships. Yuhi dreams if they were in the future, there has to be robots. Yuamu says that it may be the future, but before she says anything about the robot, Yuga reveals that they exist, much to the Ohdo siblings' shock. Yuga also says that it broke down already. Yuamu asks if there's any talking cats like Nyandestar in this era. Yuga says there isn't. Yuamu thinks it's a bad idea for them to stand out. Then, someone in a cat costume approaches the Ohdos. He meows, pointing out that the cats are talking.

At the park, the cat costume guy knew that Yuga came back in this cat form. Yuhi asks Yuga who is that guy and it doesn't seem like he's an alien. Yuga tells him that the cat costume guy is Nekoyama Schroedinger, a friend of his in this era and he is definitely an Earthling. Nekoyama is pleased to make the Ohdos' acquaintance. Yuhi asks if this is alright about them and he informs Yuga and Yuamu that if they go into another era and start talking about stuff, he doesn't know what the passage might do. Yuamu helps him out by informing him a time paradox, which brings Yuhi back to his senses. Yuhi wonders if this would be bad and Yuga says he would say the opposite. Yuamu thinks it would be more concerning if people from the future came to the past instead, which shocks Yuhi, who finds out that he and Yuamu are already in trouble since Yuga told them stuff. Yuga asks Nekoyama if he has grown taller. Nekoyama tells him that it's already been two years since he has. He also informs that two years ago, Yuga disappeared during his last Rush Duel with Otes. Yuhi asks Yuga what kind of Duel did he have. Nekoyama says that it was an epic Duel that's still talked about today, but he was stuck on Earth, so he doesn't know all the details. Yuga realizes that the fact he fought Otes hasn't changed at all. Yuamu asks Nekoyama if he has aliens in this time period.  Yuhi wonders what's up and his sister notices that he clearly has forgotten that they are fighting the MIK and Phaser Ryugu. Yuhi muses that Phaser wanted to get rid all of the aliens from Earth. Then, the Ohdo siblings had their minds hit; did they win the battle or Phaser did? Yuamu bets that the results of their struggle should be reflected in this era. Yuhi asks about UTS, but Yuamu tells him that they don't have time for that information. As the two cats dash off, the camera zooms in to show that Yuga has a pin shaped like Otes on his chest.

At a field, Yuhi wonders if this is the place. He and Yuamu realize that there's nothing there, including UTS. Yuhi wonders if Phaser ended up winning. Yuamu says that they don't know yet as her glasses shine bright. Yuhi stresses as he asks if they lost and UTS has annihilated before he screams "No!" The exhausted Nekoyama catches up, realizing that cats run faster with their little feet. Both Yuamu and Yuhi realize that it wasn't written in stone that they lost. Yuamu thinks that UTS has moved somewhere else in another area. She asks Nekoyama if there's a town hall where old records of the town's past is kept. Nekoyama says there is, so Yuamu convinces him to let her, along with Yuga and Yuhi, to check the records. Nekoyama sweat drops as he nervously tells the Ohdo cats that they probably shouldn't know too much about the future. Yuamu tells him that they've already come from the future and met Yuga. Nekoyama nervously stares at the three cats and Yuga meows with shame.

At the alley, Nekoyama tells the cats that they're taking them to where all recorded data besides Dueling is housed in Goha Enterprises' underground facilities. The gang arrives, but they find a dead end, which is a trash can. Nekoyama says that the trash can is an entrance and holds the lid's handle as he counts down from three to one. He opens the lid and shouts "Open sesame, meow!", causing the ground to open and the four to fall inside a secret base. Nekoyama welcomes the Ohdos to the Garden of Providence, which Yuamu notes that it sounds familiar.

In the computer room, Nekoyama is typing as he informs that every record about Goha City is maintained by Goha Enterprises. Yuhi asks Nekoyama what Goha Enterprises is, and Nekoyama questions that it doesn't exist in Yuhi's era. Yuhi tells him that there's a tiny place called Goha Company, but the names are just similar. Nekoyama finds the image of the UTS building on one of the computers. Yuamu doesn't see the records, all they see is everything they already know about UTS and everything after that is blank. She wonders when they transitioned from analog data to digital, something may have been lost. Yuhi worries that they can't learn anything from the computer. The three spot Yuga's ID and Nekoyama realizes that Phaser has cataloged all of Yuga's achievements and deeds. Nekoyama tells Yuhi that Yuga was a revolutionary Duelist who was determined to change the strict world of Dueling and that's how Rush Duels were born as we get a flashback from Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS when Yuga first installed Rush Duels in the chamber. This shocks the Ohdo siblings as they realize Yuga created Rush Duels. Yuamu thought that Yuga created Rush Duels in her and Yuhi's time period as well. Yuga rises up, saying he'll take it from there.

He then tells the three other friends that he created Rush Duels and in this era, Dueling was spread around the world, but it's environment became too complicated and restricting for the children, so he developed Rush Duels in order to bring Rush Dueling back into their own hands. In the last battle with Otes, he won. But that wasn't the end, it was just the beginning of another battle. Zuwijo came to Earth in search of Rush Duels.

In the flashback, Kaizo tells Zuwijo's team that Dueling and Solid Vision are not a thing and regrets to them that they're already asking about Rush Duels and it also wonders how did they know everything about Rush Duels. Dinois yells at it to shut up and warns it and Yuga that they won't leave until they create Rush Duels, which Yuga nervouslt agrees. Yuga then continues the story, saying that he created Rush Duels in the past, which is why he refused to do it at first. But he has a hunch when he overheard Zuwijo and his group speaking to each other, also revealing the true identity of the Velgearians and Rush Dueling could end the war of the Velgearians and save them. Then, Yuga finally decided to create Rush Duels in the past. Yuga puts on his helmet as he tells Kaizo to leave it to him. Kaizo declares that the Omniladybug Transcendental Eradication System (OTES) has activated. An explosion occurs, and Yuga realizes that he can't look at ladybugs anymore due to his big fear of them. Kaizo congratulates him.

Various flashbacks play as Yuga lands in the Mutsuba Heavy Machinery, activating his Duel Disk as a holographic dome forms, creating blossoming cliff background, getting his meal, and finding Yudias lying on a bench. This means Yuga met Yudias at the past in the first place and the flashback ends.

Yuamu realizes that it's true that Rush Duels have allowed Yudias to end the war. Yuga tells Yuhi that everything important could change, but according to the computer nothing changed at all, which relieves Yuhi.

It is now sunset. Yuhi notices that Yuga is depressed. Nekoyama explains that despite creating Rush Duels in the past, nothing in history has changed. Rush Duels may have changed after a long time into Goha Duels. It has become a more complex card game and the environment surrounding it was yet again taken away from the children. He thinks that Yuga is responsible for all this. And Yuhi bets that Yuga would try to protect Dueling no matter what. Nekoyama reveals that Otes was the one who tried to do that, which makes Yuhi recognize that Yuga has been really carrying a heavy burden on his back. He wonders what they could to for him as his ancestors. The three notice a blue haired boy finding Yuga out of nowhere. Nekoyama explains that the boy is Lucidien Kallister, or "Luke" for short and he is Yuga's precious friend. Luke picks up Yuga inviting him to his house.
