* In episode 63, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Weevil Underwood. He summons this card in Attack Position. Joey then tributes his "Jinzo", so that this card could attack. This card then attacks and destroys Weevil's set "Pinch Hopper". This activates "Pinch Hopper's" effect, Special Summoning "Larvae Moth" to Weevil's side of the Field. Later Weevil activates "Reckless Parasite" which turns all of Joey's monsters into Insects and prevents him from Tributing Insect-type monsters. Joey later attacks "Larvae Moth" with "Little-Winguard", but Weevil activates "Insect Barrier" which prevents Joey from attacking with Insect-type monsters. On Joey's next turn, he switches his monsters to Defense Position to Defense Position. In the next episode, Joey switches his monsters to Attack Position in order to get Weevil to attack with "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth". The plan succeeds as Weevil attacks "Parasite Paracide" with "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth". Joey then activates "Skull Dice" to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" by the result. The result is a two, so the ATK of "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" is divided by 2. Joey then activates "Graceful Dice" to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Parasite Paracide" by the result. The result is a four, so the ATK of "Parasite Paracide" is quadrupled until the End Phase. "Parasite Paracide" then destroys "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth". Later "Insect Queen" attacks this card as Joey forgot to switch this card to Defense Position, but Joey activates "Magical Arm Shield" to switch the target of the attack to Weevil's "Insect Soldiers of the Sky", destroying it. Joey then switches this card and "Parasite Paracide" to Defense Position. "Insect Queen" then attacks and destroys this card. The last effect of "Insect Queen" then activates, Special Summoning an "Insect Monster Token".

* In episode 77, Joey uses this card during his DUel against Yugi Muto while the former was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He summons this card in Attack Position. Marik ordered Joey to use this card to attack "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", but Joey uses "Rocket Warrior" to attack "Beta The Magnet Warrior". Yugi activates "Magical Arm Shield" to redirect the attack to this card. Due to the effect of "Rocket Warrior", it is not destroyed, and Joey takes no Battle Damage. After damage calculation, this card loses 500 ATK until the End Phase. "Attrition" then decreases this card's ATK by 1500. On Joey's End Phase, this card regains the ATK it lost from the effect of "Rocket Warrior". Later "Archfiend of Gilfer" attacks this card, but Joey activates "Skull Dice" and "Graceful Dice" in response. Yugi then activates "De-Spell" to destroy "Graceful Dice". The effect of "Skull Dice" continues and rolls a die. The result is a two, so the ATK of "Archfiend of Gilfer" is halved. "Archfiend of Gilfer" then destroys this card.

* In episode 125, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yami Marik. He summons this card in Attack Position Joey then Tributes one of his "Sheep Tokens" so that this card could attack. This card then attacks and destroys Yami Marik's "Gil Garth". After Joey summons "Rocket Warrior", Yami Marik activates "Hidden Soldiers" to Special Summon "Plasma Eel" and equip it onto this card. "Rocket Warrior" then attacks "Helpoemer". Due to the effect of "Rocket Warrior", it is not destroyed and Joey takes no Battle Damage. After damage calculation, the effect of "Rocket Warrior", decreases the ATK of "Helpoemer" by 500 until the End Phase. Joey then tributes another "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack. This card then attacks and destroys "Helpoemer". This activates the effect of "Helpoemer", which will make Joey discard one random card from his hand every time he ends his Battle Phase. In the next episode, Joey ends his turn. The effect of "Plasma Eel" then activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 1500. On Joey's next turn, he uses "Rocket Warrior" to attack "Drillago". Due to the effect of "Rocket Warrior", it is not destroyed and Joey takes no Battle Damage. After damage calculation, the effect of "Rocket Warrior" decreases the ATK of "Drillago" by 500 until the End Phase. Joey then tributes his last "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack. Joey then uses this card to attack and destroy "Drillago". On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 1000. Joey switches this monster to Defense Position on his next turn. At the end of Joey's turn, "Plasma Eel"'s effect activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 500. After Joey summons "Jinzo", he used its effect to destroy all of Yami Marik's Traps. Joey then switches this card and "Baby Dragon" to Attack Position. "Jinzo" then attacks and destroys "Legendary Fiend" (whose ATK was 2200 due to its own effect. "Baby Dragon" and "Rocket Warrior" then attack Yami Marik directly, but Yami Marik activates "Dark Wall of Wind" to make all Battle Damage he takes from direct attacks this turn to 0. On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 0. In the following episode, Joey attacks Marik directly with "Lava Golem", but Yami Marik activates "Relieve Monster" to return the "Plasma Eel" back to his hand. Yami Marik then uses the second effect of "Relieve Monster" to Special Summon "Plasma Eel" and use it to intercept "Lava Golem"'s attack. Since "Plasma Eel" can't be destroyed by battle, the attack fails. Yami Marik then activates "Machine Duplication" to summon two more "Plasma Eels" which were equipped onto "Rocket Warrior" and "Lava Golem" respectively. Joey then activates "Graceful Dice" to roll a die and multiply the ATK of "Plasma Eel" by the result. Joey gets a six, so the ATK of "Plasma Eel" is multiplied by 6, making its ATK 3000. This causes Marik's "Machine Duplication" and the "Plasma Eel" copies that were equipped onto "Rocket Warrior" and "Lava Golem" to be destroyed. Joey then Tributes this card, "Rocket Warrior" and "Lava Golem" to Summon "Gilford the Lightning".

On Joey's next turn, Yami Marik activates "Hidden Soldiers" to Special Summon "Plasma Eel", which then equips itself onto this card. Joey then tributes another "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack and destroy Marik's "Helpoemer" (which had 1500 ATK via Joey's "Rocket Warrior's" effect). This activates the effect of "Helpoemer", which will make Joey discard one random card from his hand every time he ends his Battle Phase. In the next episode, as Joey ends his turn, Joey then tributes his last "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack and destroy Marik's "Drillago" (which had 1100 ATK due to Joey's "Rocket Warrior's" effect). After Joey summons "Jinzo", Joey then switches this card to Attack Position, intending to attack directly, although Marik's "Dark Wall of Wind" turns this strategy moot. On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 0. In the following episode, Yami Marik activates "Relieve Monster" to unequip "Plasma Eel" from this card. Joey then Tributes this card, "Rocket Warrior" and "Lava Golem" to Summon "Gilford the Lightning". This activates "Gilford's" effect, destroying Marik's "Plasma Eel".

** In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback that Yami Marik has while he was trying to figure out what was the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard. After his assumption with "Alligator's Sword" was wrong, he deduced that the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard must have been a card that his "Helpoemer" randomly discarded from Joey's hand.

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Anime

Battle City

  • In episode 60, this card can be seen in Kaiba's briefcase when he offers all the rare cards inside the briefcase to Koji Nagumo.
  • In episode 68, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers "Parasite Paracide" infecting his monsters when it was brought out onto his side of the field.
  • In episode 69, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. He summons this card in Attack Position. Mako's "Fortress Whale" then attacks this card, but Joey activates "Magical Arm Shield" to redirect the attack to "The Legendary Fisherman", destroying it instead. On Mako's next turn, he uses "Fortress Whale" to attack this card, but Joey activates "Kunai with Chain" to equip itself onto this card and increase its ATK by 500. Joey then activates "Lightning Blade" to equip it onto this card and increase its ATK by 800. This card then destroys "Fortress Whale". On the last turn of the duel, Joey activates "Giant Trunade" to return all Spell and Trap Cards to their owners' hands. Since both Equip Cards that were equipped onto this card have been removed from the field, this card returns to its Original ATK. Joey then Tributes a "Sheep Token" to allow this card to attack and destroy Mako's "The Legendary Fisherman", winning Joey the duel.
  • In episode 74, this card appears within a series of flashbacks that show all of Joey's Duels in Battle City.

Virtual World

  • In episode 104, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Johnson. In the next episode, Joey summons this card in Attack Position. Johnson's "Kamionwizard" then attacks this card. The effect of Johnson's "Leading Question" then increases the ATK of "Kamionwizard" by 800 during the Damage Step. Joey then activates "Skull Dice" to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Kamionwizard" by the result. Joey gets a six, but Johnson cheats by changing the result to a one. Due to this, the ATK of "Kamionwizard" does not change. The attack continues, destroying this card.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card can be seen when Joey is shown building his Deck for his duel with Johnson.

Battle City Finals

  • In episode 124, this card is shown in a flashback that Joey has when he remembers all the Duelists he faced on his way to the Battle City Finals.
  • In episode 125, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yami Marik. He summons this card in Attack Position. Joey then Tributes one of his "Sheep Tokens" so that this card could attack and destroy Yami Marik's "Gil Garth".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback that Yami Marik has while he was trying to figure out what was the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard. After his assumption with "Alligator's Sword" was wrong, he deduced that the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard must have been a card that his "Helpoemer" randomly discarded from Joey's hand.
  • In episode 129, this card is shown during a dream sequence that Joey has. It is shown at the bottom of Joey's Deck when he sees and believes that he is in the biggest match in town.
  • In episode 135, this card is seen in a flashback Yugi has when he remembers Joey's Duel against Yami Marik.

Waking the Dragons

  • In episode 155, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Mai telling him the Mai he knew was gone.
  • In episode 169, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Mai claiming that she was sick of her life so much that she decided to change it.

Grand Championship

  • In episode 191, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. Zigfried uses the effect of "Goddess Skuld's Oracle" to look at the top three cards of Joey's deck. He then tells Joey to place this card on top of his deck. Zigfred then activates the effect of "Goddess Verdandi's Guidance" and declares that Joey's top card is a monster. Since Zigfried was correct, Joey was forced to Special Summon this card in face-down Defense Position. Zigfried then activates the effect of "Goddess Urd's Verdict" to declare that Joey's set monster is this card. Since Zigfried was correct, this card was banished.

Manga

This card did not require a Tribute to attack.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist

Yu-Gi-Oh! R

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

  • In episode 127, this card is played by a Duel Ghoul that was preventing Jaden from getting to the Yubel-possessed Marcel. This card and other monsters then attacked Jaden, but Jaden's "Winged Kuriboh" releases a blinding light in front of the Duel Ghouls, allowing Jaden to get away.

Scripted Duels

  • In the non-canon duel North American WCQ Special 2012: Joey vs. Kaiba, Joey Normal Summons this card, Tributing one of his four "Joey Token" so that it could attack and destroy Seto Kaiba's "Lord of Dragons". On his next turn, Joey Tributes his last "Joey Token" so that this card could attack and destroy Kaiba's "Alexandrite Dragon" for a Double KO. Later, Kaiba banishes this card from the Graveyard with the effect of "Soul Demolition", and this card's banishment increases Kaiba's Life Points by 500 due to his "Soul Absorption". On the last turn, Joey Special Summons this card from the Banished Zone in Defense Mode due to Kaiba's "Dimension Fusion". This card remains on the field until the Duel was over.
