Battle City[edit]

  • In episode 63, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Weevil Underwood. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Joey then tributes his "Jinzo", so that this card could attack. This card then attacks and destroys Weevil's set "Pinch Hopper". This activates the effect of "Pinch Hopper", allowing Weevil to Special Summon "Larvae Moth". Later Weevil activates "Reckless Parasite" which turns all of Joey's monsters into Insects and prevents him from Tributing Insect-type monsters. Later Joey switches his monsters to Defense Position. In the next episode, Joey switches his monsters to Attack Position in order to get Weevil to attack with "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth", which succeeds for Joey's next plan. Later "Insect Queen" attacks this card as Joey forgot to switch this card to Defense Position, but Joey activates "Magical Arm Shield" to switch the target of the attack to Weevil's "Insect Soldiers of the Sky", destroying it instead. Joey then switches this card and "Parasite Paracide" to Defense Position. "Insect Queen" then attacks and destroys this card. The last effect of "Insect Queen" then activates, Special Summoning an "Insect Monster Token".
    • In the former-mentioned episode, this card appeared on the screen of the laptop that Kenta was using when he was trying to let Serenity Wheeler know how the Duel between Joey and Weevil was going. In the latter-mentioned episode, this card was still shown on the screen of the laptop.
  • In episode 68, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers "Parasite Paracide" infecting his monsters when it was brought out onto his side of the field.
  • In episode 69, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. "Fortress Whale" then attacks this card, but Joey activates "Magical Arm Shield" to redirect the attack to "The Legendary Fisherman", destroying it instead. On Mako's next turn, he uses "Fortress Whale" to attack this card, but Joey activates "Kunai with Chain" to equip itself onto this card and increase its ATK by 500. Joey then activates "Lightning Blade" to equip it onto this card and increase its ATK by 800. This card then destroys "Fortress Whale". On the last turn of the duel, Joey activates "Giant Trunade" to return all Spell and Trap Cards to their owners' hands. This gets rid of "Umi" and reveals "The Legendary Fisherman". Since both Equip Cards that were equipped onto this card have been removed from the field, this card's ATK returns to its original value. After Joey activates "Scapegoat", Joey Tributes a "Sheep Token" to allow this card to attack. This card then attacks and destroys "The Legendary Fisherman", winning Joey the duel.
  • In episode 74, this card appears within a series of flashbacks that show all of Joey's Duels in Battle City.
  • In episode 77, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto while the former was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Marik ordered Joey to use this card to attack "Red-Eyes Black Dragon", but Joey uses "Rocket Warrior" to attack "Beta The Magnet Warrior". Yugi activates "Magical Arm Shield" to redirect the attack to this card. Due to the first two effects of "Rocket Warrior", it is not destroyed, and Joey takes no Battle Damage. After damage calculation, the last effect of "Rocket Warrior" decreases this card's ATK by 500. "Attrition" then decreases this card's ATK by 1500. On Joey's End Phase, this card regains the ATK it lost from the effect of "Rocket Warrior". Later "Beast of Gilfer" attacks this card, but Joey activates "Skull Dice" and "Graceful Dice" in response. Yugi then activates "De-Spell" to destroy "Graceful Dice". The effect of "Skull Dice" continues and rolls a die. The result is a two, so the ATK of "Archfiend of Gilfer" is halved. "Archfiend of Gilfer" then destroys this card.

Virtual World[edit]

  • In episode 104, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Johnson. In the next episode, Joey summons this card in Attack Position. "Kamionwizard" then attacks this card. The effect of "Leading Question" then increases the ATK of "Kamionwizard" by 800 during the Damage Step. Joey then activates "Skull Dice" to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Kamionwizard" by the result. Joey gets a six, but Johnson cheats by changing the result to a one. "Kamionwizard" then destroys this card.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card can be seen when Joey was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Johnson.
  • In episode 112, Joey uses this card during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against the Big Five. He summons this card in Defense Position. On Joey's next turn, he Tributes this card in order to Tribute Summon "Jinzo".

Battle City Finals[edit]

  • In episode 124, this card is shown in a flashback that Joey has when he remembers all the Duelists he faced on his way to the Battle City Finals.
  • In episode 125, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yami Marik. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position Joey then Tributes one of his "Sheep Tokens" so that this card could attack. This card then attacks and destroys Yami Marik's "Gil Garth". After Yami Marik activates "Hidden Soldiers" to Special Summon "Plasma Eel", he activates the latter's effect to equip it onto this card. "Rocket Warrior" then attacks "Helpoemer". Due to the effect of "Rocket Warrior", it is not destroyed and Joey takes no Battle Damage. After damage calculation, the effect of "Rocket Warrior", decreases the ATK of "Helpoemer" by 500 until the End Phase. Joey then tributes another "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack. This card then attacks and destroys "[Helpoemer". This activates the effect of "Helpoemer", which will make Joey discard one random card from his hand every time he ends his Battle Phase. In the next episode, the effect of "Plasma Eel" then activates during Joey's End Phase, decreasing this card's ATK to 1500. On Joey's next turn, he uses "Rocket Warrior" to attack "Drillago". Due to the effect of "Rocket Warrior", it is not destroyed and Joey takes no Battle Damage. After damage calculation, the effect of "Rocket Warrior" decreases the ATK of "Drillago" by 500 until the End Phase. Joey then tributes his last "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack. This card then attacks and destroys "Drillago". On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 1000. On Joey's next turn, he switches this card to Defense Position. On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma "Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 500. After Joey Special Summons "Jinzo" via "Question" and the effect of "Jinzo" destroys all of Yami Marik's Trap Cards, Joey switches this card and "Baby Dragon" to Attack Position. On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 0. In the following episode, "Lava Golem" attacks directly, but Yami Marik activates "Relieve Monster" to return "Plasma Eel" to his hand. Later Joey Tributes this card, "Rocket Warrior" and "Lava Golem" in order to Tribute Summon "Gilford the Lightning".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback that Yami Marik has while he was trying to figure out what was the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard. After his assumption with "Alligator's Sword" was wrong, he deduced that the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard must have been a card that his "Helpoemer" randomly discarded from Joey's hand.
  • In episode 129, this card is shown during a dream sequence that Joey has. It is shown at the bottom of Joey's Deck when he sees and believes that he is in the biggest match in town.
  • In episode 135, this card is seen in a flashback Yugi has when he remembers Joey's Duel against Yami Marik.

Waking the Dragons[edit]

  • In episode 152, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. He summons this card in Attack Position. Joey then Tributes a Sheep Token to allow this card to attack. This card then attacks a "Harpie Lady" but Mai activates "Harpie Lady Sparrow Formation" to negate the attack. Later Mai activates "Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation" to destroy this card and the two remaining Sheep Tokens as well as inflict the destroyed monsters' total ATK as damage to Joey.
  • In episode 155, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Mai telling him the Mai he knew was gone.
  • In episode 169, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Mai claiming that she was sick of her life so much that she decided to change it.
  • In episode 172, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Dueling Mai back in Industrial Illusions and Mai using "Harpie Lady Sparrow Formation" to negate his attack.

Grand Championship[edit]

  • In episode 191, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. Zigfried uses the effect of "Goddess Skuld's Oracle" to look at Joey's three cards. He then tells Joey to place this card on top of his Deck. Zigfried then activates the effect of "Goddess Verdande's Guidance" and declares that Joey's top card is a monster. Since Zigfried was correct, Joey was forced to Special Summon this card in face-down Defense Position. Zigfried then activates the effect of "Goddess Urd's Verdict" to declare that Joey's set monster is this card. Since Zigfried was correct, this card was banished.

  • In episode 127, this card is summoned by a Duel Ghoul that was preventing Jaden from getting to the Yubel-possessed Marcel Bonaparte. This card, "Drilloid", "Leghul", "Newdoria", "Gagagigo" then attack Jaden directly, but Jaden's "Winged Kuriboh" appears and activates its effect to reduce the Battle Damage Jaden would take to 0. This action creates a blinding light that distracts the Duel Ghouls, allowing Jaden to get away from them.
