Yu-Gi-Oh!

Anime

Battle City

  • In episode 60, this card can be seen in Kaiba's briefcase when he offers all the rare cards inside the briefcase to Koji Nagumo.
  • In episode 68, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers "Parasite Paracide" infecting his monsters when it was brought out onto his side of the field.
  • In episode 69, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. He summons this card in Attack Position. Mako's "Fortress Whale" then attacks this card, but Joey activates "Magical Arm Shield" to redirect the attack to "The Legendary Fisherman", destroying it instead. On Mako's next turn, he uses "Fortress Whale" to attack this card, but Joey activates "Kunai with Chain" to equip itself onto this card and increase its ATK by 500. Joey then activates "Lightning Blade" to equip it onto this card and increase its ATK by 800. This card then destroys "Fortress Whale". On the last turn of the duel, Joey activates "Giant Trunade" to return all Spell and Trap Cards to their owners' hands. Since both Equip Cards that were equipped onto this card have been removed from the field, this card returns to its Original ATK. Joey then Tributes a "Sheep Token" to allow this card to attack and destroy Mako's "The Legendary Fisherman", winning Joey the duel.
  • In episode 74, this card appears within a series of flashbacks that show all of Joey's Duels in Battle City.

Virtual World

  • In episode 104, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Johnson. In the next episode, Joey summons this card in Attack Position. Johnson's "Kamionwizard" then attacks this card. The effect of Johnson's "Leading Question" then increases the ATK of "Kamionwizard" by 800 during the Damage Step. Joey then activates "Skull Dice" to roll a die and divide the ATK of "Kamionwizard" by the result. Joey gets a six, but Johnson cheats by changing the result to a one. Due to this, the ATK of "Kamionwizard" does not change. The attack continues, destroying this card.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card can be seen when Joey is shown building his Deck for his duel with Johnson.

Battle City Finals

  • In episode 124, this card is shown in a flashback that Joey has when he remembers all the Duelists he faced on his way to the Battle City Finals.
  • In episode 125, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yami Marik. He summons this card in Attack Position. Joey then Tributes one of his "Sheep Tokens" so that this card could attack and destroy Yami Marik's "Gil Garth". On Joey's next turn, Yami Marik activates "Hidden Soldiers" to Special Summon "Plasma Eel", which then equips itself onto this card. Joey then tributes another "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack and destroy Marik's "Helpoemer" (which had 1500 ATK via Joey's "Rocket Warrior's" effect). This activates the effect of "Helpoemer", which will make Joey discard one random card from his hand every time he ends his Battle Phase. In the next episode, as Joey ends his turn, Joey then tributes his last "Sheep Token" so that this card could attack and destroy Marik's "Drillago" (which had 1100 ATK due to Joey's "Rocket Warrior's" effect). On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 1000. Joey switches this monster to Defense Position on his next turn. At the end of Joey's turn, "Plasma Eel"'s effect activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 500. After Joey summons "Jinzo", Joey then switches this card to Attack Position, intending to attack directly, although Marik's "Dark Wall of Wind" turns this strategy moot. On Joey's End Phase, the effect of "Plasma Eel" activates, decreasing this card's ATK to 0. In the following episode, Yami Marik activates "Relieve Monster" to unequip "Plasma Eel" from this card. Joey then Tributes this card, "Rocket Warrior" and "Lava Golem" to Summon "Gilford the Lightning". This activates "Gilford's" effect, destroying Marik's "Plasma Eel".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback that Yami Marik has while he was trying to figure out what was the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard. After his assumption with "Alligator's Sword" was wrong, he deduced that the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard must have been a card that his "Helpoemer" randomly discarded from Joey's hand.
  • In episode 129, this card is shown during a dream sequence that Joey has. It is shown at the bottom of Joey's Deck when he sees and believes that he is in the biggest match in town.
  • In episode 135, this card is seen in a flashback Yugi has when he remembers Joey's Duel against Yami Marik.

Waking the Dragons

  • In episode 155, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Mai telling him the Mai he knew was gone.
  • In episode 169, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Mai claiming that she was sick of her life so much that she decided to change it.

Grand Championship

  • In episode 191, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. Zigfried uses the effect of "Goddess Skuld's Oracle" to look at the top three cards of Joey's deck. He then tells Joey to place this card on top of his deck. Zigfred then activates the effect of "Goddess Verdandi's Guidance" and declares that Joey's top card is a monster. Since Zigfried was correct, Joey was forced to Special Summon this card in face-down Defense Position. Zigfried then activates the effect of "Goddess Urd's Verdict" to declare that Joey's set monster is this card. Since Zigfried was correct, this card was banished.

Manga

This card did not require a Tribute to attack.

Yu-Gi-Oh! R

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
