- This card can be searched by "Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra", "Keeper of Dragon Magic", "Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon", "Predaplant Chimerafflesia", "Synchro Fusionist", "Supreme King Gate Zero", "Kahyoreigetsu", "Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone", "Evil Mind", "Cyberdark Inferno", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic", and other generic searchers.
- Since the monster Fusion Summoned by this effect cannot attack, and is destroyed during the End Phase, it can still be utilized in a number of different ways:
- It can be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, or be used as a material for a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Summon of a monster that requires a specific Type and/or Attribute.
- "Mudragon of the Swamp" can be especially useful in this regard, since it can become any Attribute of its controller's choice.
- Some of these monsters are Tuner monsters, which inherently enable Synchro Summons, and currently include "Allvain the Essence of Vanity" (Level 2), "Magikey Beast - Ansyalabolas" (Level 4), and "Sea Monster of Theseus" (Level 5).
- "Frightfur Sheep" and "Panzer Dragon" can take advantage of the End Phase destruction, since that will trigger their relevant effects (Special Summoning itself from the Graveyard, and destroying a card on the field, respectively).
- Monsters such as "Time Wizard of Tomorrow", "Millennium-Eyes Restrict", and "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" can use their effects to get rid of an opponent's monster(s).
- Furthermore, since the latter 2 monsters are Level 1, they can be possibly be used to Link Summon "Relinquished Anima" in order to eliminate another opponent's monster that that Link Monster points to.
- In Cyberse-Type Decks, "Diplexer Chimera" can use its effect to Tribute itself (or be sent to the Graveyard via other means) in order to retrieve a "Cynet Fusion" and 1 other Cyberse-Type monster from the Graveyard.
- It can be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, or be used as a material for a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Summon of a monster that requires a specific Type and/or Attribute.
- There are several ways of having the Fusion Summoned monster survive its End Phase destruction:
- The effects of cards such as "Cherubini, Ebon Angel of the Burning Abyss", "Decisive Battle of Golgonda", and "Dimension Guardian" can prevent the monster from being destroyed, although the attack restriction will still remain and the End Phase destruction will be attempted each turn.
- The effect of "Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra" (which is Special Summoned via "Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio") is an easy way to enable this protection, since that monster effect can add this Spell from the Deck to the hand, while both "Predaplant" monsters can be used to Link Summon "Cherubini".
- Temporary banishing card effects can be used to permanently dispel the destruction effect (since the monster leaves the field), such as those of "Baba Barber", "D.D. Seeker", "Dimensionhole", "Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss", "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", "Timebreaker Magician", and "World Legacy Clash".
- "Umi"-based Decks can use "Sea Stealth Attack" for this, which can be especially useful for keeping a Level 5 WATER Fusion Monster around to enforce that Trap's effects.
- The monster can be flipped face-down, with card effects such as "Book of Eclipse", "Book of Lunar Eclipse", and "Book of Moon".
- "Invoked Raidjin" is a Level 5 Fusion Monster with an effect that can flip 1 monster face-down once per turn (which can include itself), during either player's turn.
- "Fusion Duplication" can be useful for mimicking this Spell's effect during the opponent's turn, especially by Fusion Summoning monsters with disruptive effects, such as "El Shaddoll Winda", "Fullmetalfoes Alkahest", "Invoked Caliga", "Invoked Raidjin" (whose effect can alternatively be used on itself in order to permanently dispel its attack restriction and End Phase destruction), "Millennium-Eyes Restrict", and "Ojama Knight".
Traditional Format[edit]
- "Elder Entity Norden" is one of the most ideal monsters to Fusion Summon with this card's effect, as it can revive another monster, easily providing materials to Summon a monster from the Extra Deck.
- This card's effect can be mimicked via the effect of "Predaplant Verte Anaconda".
