Ignis is the second arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS anime. It follows the attempts of Yusaku, Ai, and his newfound allies, Theodore Hamilton and Flame, the second Ignis, to find the other four Ignis after the destruction of the Cyberse, in addition to Yusaku's search for Jin Kolter's consciousness data after its theft by the mysterious Bohman.
After they learn that Lightning, the leader of the Ignis, was responsible for the destruction of the Cyberse and the creator of Bohman, Lightning declares war on humanity. Yusaku and his allies team up with the Knights of Hanoi to find the hostile Ignis, while evading the attempts by SOL Technologies and their bounty hunters to recapture the Ignis for their own ends.
