Series 12 is the collective name for the Core Boosters released from 2023 to 2026.

As it coincides with Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!, which promotes Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel, it does not introduce anime cards from a concurrent series into the OCG/TCG, instead focusing on supporting existing themes from the first 6 NAS anime series, from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters to Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, although unlike Series 11, the first few Series 12 core boosters did include cards from past anime series. Each set features a theme from a climactic Duel from the anime, with the cover card being based on a powerful monster used during it, as well as introducing a new series or archetype inspired by an old iconic card.

Series 12 also features several archetypes and cards that compose storylines centered around "Diabellstar the Dark Witch" and the "Sinful Spoils" theme, as well as continuing the "Visas Starfrost" storyline.
