Talk:Thunder King Rai-Oh
A question... if the opponent activates Magical Dimension, while thunder king is face-up, and tribute the monster and special summon the monster, can i activate the effect of thunder king before he destroys thunder king by the effect of magical dimension? --Ultimateglad 03:13, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Ultimateglad
- You cannot use TKRO's effect on Magical Dimension. TKRO negates the Special Summon of monsters. You cannot negate a Special Summon if the Special Summon occurs on resolution of an effect. Falzar FZ 12:29, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
it does not say in the card that you can active this card during your opponents turn, so can you?? --Jon red2001 05:51, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Jon red2001
- Thunder King Rai-Oh's" effect that negates the Special Summon of 1 of your opponent's monsters is a Quick Effect, so you can use in your opponent turn and have same speed that a quick spell.
so the effect of Thunder King Rai-oh would negate the summon but would the other effect of Magical Dimension still work.... Destroy 1 monster?--Dragonruler 12:25, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Just answered first question. see that. Falzar FZ 12:29, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
Limiting?
Not to be a complete loser or hater, but i do think that this card should be semi-limited at the least.
Umm....why? It doesn't do anything that kills, it only stops 1 special summon and prevents searching - there are far worse things it could do. --Drew-Gi-Oh! (talk) 18:44, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
