"The Chosen One", known as "Another King" in the Japanese version, is the thirteenth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime. It first aired in Japan on August 29, 2020. It first became available in English on Hulu in America on June 7, 2022, and aired on June 25, 2022 on Disney XD in America and June 15, 2022 on 9Go! in Australia.

Yuga draws "Sevens Road Magician". But just when he thinks that he is going to lose for using an illegal card, Otes emerges from the ground! How did Yuga obtain "Sevens Road", and just who is Otes?!

Summary[edit]

At the Big Seven Arena Yuga looks at his hand, containing "Magical Beast Wolfang", "Curtain of Sparks", "Pierce!, "Sevens Road Magician", and "Sevens Road Witch". Luke and Gavin both realize what card Yuga has drawn, and Mimi realizes what this means for Rush Dueling, and Romin thinks that they have become Roa's now. Kaizo floats behind Yuga, confirming that he has drawn the Forbidden card; "Sevens Road Magician". A spotlight snaps on Kaizo as it reiterates that according to Goha Duel Rule No. 66, Article 66, Yuga will now be -

The Relic erupts from the ground in the middle of Big Seven Arena.

But then the ground begins to shake, and Yuga excitedly cries that it's here. The stage under Kaizo begins to shake and the audience cry out in shock as the Relic erupts from the ground; the members of RoaRomin are all truly shocked for the first time, and Luke and Gavin realize what it is. Yuga cries that it really appeared. Professor Diggs, Trench and Tracker race onto the stage and immediately begin examining the Relic, much to Luke and Gavin's surprise, though Yuga is pleased to see them. Diggs calls it a moving Jurassic, and Yuga explains that he asked Goha #2 Elementary's Duel Dinosaur Club to help him investigate the emblems on the Relic. They had suggested layering the seven emblems akin to geological layers, and they eventually formed a shape that Yuga recognized; the symbol of the Big Seven Arena. Gavin realizes this was where the emblems were pointing to and Yuga adds that tonight is also a full moon. Diggs emphasizes that it's as the legend says, and then the slab at the back of the Relic begins to glow blue and the voice of the Hologram Man calls it wonderful, this is as expected of the one who has obtained the right to be King of Duels; Yuga Ohdo. Luke chimes in that he has as well, and Romin recognizes the Hologram Man from when Yuga Dueled him to install Rush Dueling. The Duel Dinosaur Club leap down from the stage as the Hologram Man introduces himself as Otes, the one who laments the Duels of this era. He tells Yuga (ignoring Luke's statement of inclusion) that he is the same as him. To this day, people all over the world have enjoyed Goha Duels, but Yuga also felt something off about them, didn't he? The Dueling world has become too rigid. Otes wanted to hand the enjoyment of Dueling back to the children, and then he found it; the potential to bring fresh Duels into the world, to carve open new roads. So he entrusted "Sevens Road Magician" to Yuga, and he has invented such wonderful Rush Duels just as Otes expected he would (Luke continues to stick his hand up for acknowledgement.) Gavin notes that in other words, Yuga is a Chosen Duelist, and Saburamen describes Yuga as bowling over with talent (making a pun on how the character for talent can also mean a bowl of noodles), much to Rayne and Rino's appreciation, though Kaizo insists that "Sevens Road Magician" is still an illegal card, so Yuga will be disqualified -

Yosh and the Newspaper Club arrive.

And then the door behind him bursts open, revealing Good Max sitting astride his motorcycle, who declares that he is the demon created from chaos and disorder, the King of Combat from the end of the century - Yosh. The audience scream in shock, though Mimi is simply surprised to see her son. Luke waves to Yosh and comments that he made it, and Yosh cheerfully greets Luke in his normal voice, explaining that he brought the Newspaper Club with him. Scoop, Masa and Cub all hop off Yosh's motorcycle as Scoop declares that they've finally found it. Masa deposits a VCR player on the ground and Scoop slides a tape into it, projecting the tape through the stunned Kaizo and explaining that it's a recording of the Duel from the Goha Dueling Tournament years back. He fast-forwards to the scene in question; Otes's disqualification, and an announcer explains that at the 666th Goha Dueling Tournament, Contestant Otes was disqualified as officials from Goha Enterprises were barred from taking part in official tournaments. Gavin is shocked to learn that Otes was an official, and Saburamen and Mimi realize that Otes was disqualified because he works for Goha. Otes confirms that is correct, and he adds that the "Sevens Road" series, staring with "Sevens Road Magician", was created by him at Goha's Development Department. He snaps his fingers, and Mimi's phone begins ringing. She answers it as Briscoe and Sushiko peek over her shoulder, and she learns that access to the "Sevens Road Magician" card has been restored and there are no problems with the card. Briscoe and Sushiko are relieved by the news, and Otes confirms that "Sevens Road Magician" is indeed a legal card, much to the joy of Gavin, Luke and Yuga. Otes comments that it seems someone was trying to obstruct all information of the card on the web and turns to Roa.

Romin spots the young Roa in the crowd of the footage of the 666th Goha Dueling Tournament.

Tyler panics over his underhandedness being detected, but Roa casually admits that they've been found out. Gavin snaps that this was Roa's doing, though Roa claims he'd prefer it if they called it a clever tactic. But Romin has noticed something in the video and she asks Scoop to pause it. She's spotted the young Roa in the crowd behind the young Yuga, much to everyone's shock. Yuga realizes that Roa's true goal wasn't to seal "Sevens Road Magician", and as Roa lightly tells Yuga to calm down, Yuga states that Roa chose to stage a live concert at the Big Seven Arena because he knew that Otes would appear here today. Gavin protests that Otes should have known that his lie about the legality of "Sevens Road Magician" would fall through, and Luke asks what Roa is really after if that's true. Yuga states that Roa wanted to talk to Otes, didn't he? Roa narrows his eyes and he wordlessly holds out his hand. Tyler quickly zips up and deposits Roa's microphone in it, then zips back to where he and Toombs are standing. A spotlight snaps on Roa, and he angrily asks why Otes didn't choose him instead of Yuga Ohdo that day. All this time, Roa had felt as Yuga and Otes did; that the world of Dueling was too rigid. And when Otes gave out the "Sevens Road Magician" card, lamenting that had he been born in another time, he would have been the one to become King of Duels, the words "road" and "King of Duels" pierced Roa's mind. If the world was too rigid, then Roa would simply change it, if he became King, then everything would be as he wished. But he was not the person entrusted with the card. Still, Roa kept trying, trying to break down the rigidity of the world. He remembers forming RoaRomin, first with Tyler, then Romin and Toombs and recalls that they attained popularity. And then Roa heard about the urban legend, realizing from the start that it was Otes's plan, and he finally sought out the Relic's location. He remembers spying on Luke as he Dueled the Hologram Man - Otes - and states that even though he found the chamber, Yuga was the one chosen to become the King of Duels. If only Roa had been the one to obtain "Sevens Road Magician", he would have attained the rights to be King.

Yuga and Roa resume their Rush Duel.

Luke tells Roa that no matter how hard he tries, someone who plays dirty like Roa does will never have the right to be King. But Yuga tells Roa that he does have the right, a sentence that Luke repeats until he realizes what he's saying and he asks if Yuga's sure. Gavin is skeptical, but as Yuga asks Roa, he's been walking down a road he carved open as well, hasn't he? He encourages him to keep pushing forward more and more, much to Roa's surprise. Luke agrees, anyone can have the right, and there's also the chance that he could be the chosen one (though Romin, Gavin and Saburamen think he's probably wrong). Mimi that Yuga is truly an intriguing child to be able to open the hearts of people who have used such dirty tactics against him. Yuga raises his Duel Disk and asks if they should continue, though Roa claims that Yuga's sympathy is the last thing he needs. Yuga replies that's not it; he wants to see Roa's true Rush Duel, that's it. Roa smiles, and he agrees, suggesting that the winner obtains the right to become the King of Duels. The crowd are appreciative, as is Yuga, but Luke doesn't think that Otes will simply accept this. Otes declares that he will accept it, and Luke repeats the statement and sidles out of the way. Otes tells Yuga that if he loses this Duel, he will have no right to become King of Duels. Yuga is taken aback, but he accepts Otes's words and calls "Let's go!" to Roa. "Of course!" Roa replies, and they ready their Duel Disks.

Otes explains the "Sevens Road" monsters.

With Otes and the cheering crowd watching on, Yuga Summons "Magical Beast Wolfang". Then he Tributes "Wolfang" to Tribute Summon, chanting "The apprenticed younger sister who bears the name Sevens Road, appear now to guide us! Sevens Road Witch!" Roa notes that it's here, one of the "Sevens Road" series, and Gavin notes that this is also a card that was developed by Otes. Otes confirms he did; the one who holds the "Sevens Road" monsters will be shown the road to the throne of the King. Yuga grins as he sends "Pierce!" from his hand to the graveyard to activate the effect of "Sevens Road Witch", allowing him to Special Summon this monster. He chants "Cut open a road through the walls, the mountains, and the planets that block my way and press onward! Let's go! Sevens Road Magician!" Luke cheers that it's here, and Gavin adds that since Yuga Special Summoned "Sevens Road Magician", the ATK of "Sevens Road Witch" is increased by 400, rising to 2000. Yuga then sends the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the "Elemental Road" effect of "Sevens Road Magician", and Rino excitedly recalls that the effect of "Sevens Road Magician" will increase its ATK by 300 for each different Attribute in Yuga's Graveyard, while Gavin recaps the Attributes of the cards there; (the LIGHT "Hilt" and "Raidacross", the WATER "Hydro Magician", the DARK "Dark Sorcerer" and "Kuribot", the WIND "Torna", the EARTH "Straynge Cat" and the FIRE "Wolfang" and "Ansler the Magical Swordsman") and Ranze declares that there are all six. Saburamen cries that the ATK of "Sevens Road Magician" will increase by 1800, to 3900 as "Sevens Road Magician" powers up. Yuga Sets a card and the declares his Battle Phase, attacking with the "Sevens Punish" attack of "Sevens Road Witch" and destroying Roa's "Royal Rebel's Shout", reducing him to 1500 LP. Gavin cheers that now Roa has no monsters, and Yuga tells "Sevens Road Magician" to continue, ordering "Sevens Magic". "Sevens Road Magician" extends its sword and creates the seven crests, then blasts its fiery magic at Roa.

But Roa declares that the majesty of his kingdom will not be fazed by this. He returns a "Royal Rebel's Fanatic" from his Graveyard to his Deck to activate the Trap Card "King's Majesty", negating the direct attack. The Trap Card glows purple and absorbs the "Sevens Magic" attack, and Luke curses, though Yuga congratulates Roa, commenting that it wouldn't be interesting if the Duel ended here. Roa agrees, and Yuga ends his turn, returning the ATK of his monsters to normal.

Roa declares his turn and his divine draw, drawing "King's Authority", "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal", "Royal Rebel's Rocker", "Royal Rebel's Shout", and "Royal Rebel's Fanatic". He permits his monsters to show themselves before him; "Royal Rebel's Fanatic" and "Royal Rebel's Shout". Then he Tributes "Fanatic" to Tribute Summon, chanting "Continue resisting to your heart's desire! Royal Rebel's Rocker!" Luke and Gavin flinch back, and Luke wonders if this is Roa's ace monster, but Roa tells them that he isn't finished yet, activating the effect of "Royal Rebel's Rocker" to add a Level 6 or higher Fiend monster from his Graveyard to his hand. His Graveyard glows with purple flames as he retrieves the card, then Tributes "Rocker" to Tribute Summon it, holding up his "Royal Rebel's Growl". Luke and Saburamen are shocked that Roa is Tributing his Level 5 monster, and Roa chants "Tremble at the sound of the singing voice from hell! Royal Rebel's Growl!" He activates the effect of "Growl", lowering the ATK of one Attack Position monster Yuga controls by 200 times its Level until the end of the turn. Yuga gasps in shock as all six of "Growl's" mouths gape, and Mimi repeats the effect in shock. Gavin gasps that "Sevens Road" will lose 1400 ATK, and "Growl" howls as it emanates a red sonic wave, while Roa basks in the glow and tells "Sevens Road Magician" to kneel and prostrate before the great King as it is reduced to 700 ATK. Yuga grits his teeth, and then Roa declares that it's time for the main event, much to the joy of his audience. He Tributes "Royal Rebel's Shout" and "Growl" to Tribute Summon, and Luke and Gavin are shocked to see Roa Tribute his Level 6 monster. As Miniscape plays in the background, Roa chants "If you're prepared to throw away your very life for the king... A resilient Distortion Power Chord! And now, together with a heavy-metal highway lead! Sink your teeth into any who oppose you! Come forth! Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal!" "Heavy Metal" appears from flames with 2500 ATK, growling into its own microphone even as Roa tosses his to the side. Gavin is shocked to see a Level 8 monster, and Luke observes that this is Roa's ace monster.

Roa activates the effect of "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal", targeting the monster Yuga controls with the lowest Level - his "Sevens Road Witch" - absorb her ATK, and then destroy her. He orders "Heavy Metal" to silence that witch with "Hellflame Mosh Pit", and "Heavy Metal" roars into its microphone, emanating black lightning and a crimson orb that surround "Sevens Road Witch", compressing her as her ATK is drained into a similar ball in the claws of "Heavy Metal", who rises to 4100 ATK as "Witch" is compressed and destroyed. Yuga cries his monster's name as "Heavy Metal" finishes absorbing her power, and Luke is horrified to see that "Heavy Metal" absorbed the power of "Witch". Roa Sets a card, then the King enters the battlefield, and he orders his monster to march into Hell with a demonic riff. "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" screams into its microphone, causing black lightning to lash across the field, and Luke gasps that "Sevens Road Magician" only has 700 ATK, while Mimi and Gavin cry that if Yuga takes this attack he'll be wiped out.

"Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" destroys "Sevens Road Magician".

But Yuga activates his own Trap Card, "Curtain of Sparks". Diggs gasps that it will reduce the ATK of "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" by 500, and "Heavy Metal" falls to 3600 ATK. Roa isn't fazed, asking if that's it, and he orders the headbanging "Heavy Metal" to attack with "Headbanger's Destruction". "Heavy Metal" dives past "Sevens Road", destroying it with one swipe of its microphone and Yuga cries his monster's name as his LP falls to 500. Rino and Rayne gasp that Yuga only has 500 LP left, and Gavin is shocked, admitting that he thought Roa someone to only battle with cowardly strategies. Romin agrees that Roa has always been someone to never break a sweat, nor dirty his own hands, but when he gets serious... Mimi gasps that Roa's strength is in a different league, and even Luke admits that Roa might be the strongest Duelist he's ever met. Roa ends his turn, and the ATK of "Heavy Metal" returns to normal.

Yuga Summons a new "Sevens Road" monster, "Sevens Road Mage".

Yuga declares his turn and draws, looking at his hand of "Sevens Road Mage", two copies of "Dark Revelation", "Rescue Magician", and "Mystic Dealer". Diggs notes that Yuga only has 500 LP, and Yosh adds that he doesn't have "Sevens Road" either. Scoop and Sushiko note that if Yuga makes one careless move it will be the end of the line for him, and Luke wonders what Yuga will do. Yuga Summons "Mystic Dealer" and "Rescue Magician", then sends a "Dark Revelation" from his hand to the Graveyard to activate the effect of "Rescue Magician", who is surrounded by a blue energy sphere that it releases into Yuga's Graveyard as Yuga explains that he can add a Spellcaster from his Graveyard to his hand. He tells "Sevens Road Magician" to return, much to the joy of Luke and Gavin, and then he Tributes his two monsters to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Magician" again. Luke cheers that Yuga will be able to surpass the ATK of "Heavy Metal" with the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", and Gavin adds that he'll be able to wipe Roa out. But Roa refuses to let Yuga, and he activates his Trap Card, "King's Authority", preventing "Sevens Road" from using its effect for the rest of the turn. Yellow light engulfs the Trap as Gavin asks in shock if Roa has sealed "Elemental Road". Roa replies that their magician's cheap tricks will not work against the King, and Romin desperately thinks that Roa has backed Yuga into a corner. Yuga muses that Roa had the perfect counter to "Sevens Road", but how about this? He tells his "Sevens Road Mage" that it's its turn to debut as he Summons it, and it appears with 800 ATK. Roa and Luke gasp that it's a new "Sevens Road" monster, and Roa angrily asks Otes if this was also his doing. Otes replies that he only granted "Sevens Road Magician" to Yuga, but a true Duelist can attract new cards to themselves to power them up - and he uses both the "Sevens Road" and "Royal Rebel's" monsters as a visual example for both Yuga and Roa. Yuga then activates the effect of "Sevens Road Mage", targeting a monster Roa controls and lowering its ATK by 400. "Sevens Road Mage" flies around "Heavy Metal", sprinkling green crests around it as it falls to 2100 ATK, and Roa gasps "What?"

"Sevens Road Mage" unites the spirits of the monsters in Yuga's Graveyard.

Yuga explains that if he also controls "Sevens Road Magician" he can reduce the ATK of that monster an extra 100 for each Spellcaster in his Graveyard as "Sevens Road Mage" flies behind "Sevens Road Magician" and releases a blinding blue light from its body, and the spirits of the Spellcasters in Yuga's Graveyard - "Hydro Magician", Rescue Magician", "Mystic Dealer", "Hilt", "Sevens Road Witch", "Dark Sorcerer", "Ansler", "Wolfang" and "Torna" all unite with "Sevens Road Mage" into a surge of rainbow light that saps the ATK of "Heavy Metal" to 1100. Roa cries that it's impossible, and Yuga suggests to "Sevens Road Magician" that they end this, declaring that he will cut open his own road and press onward as he orders "Sevens Magic". "Sevens Road Magician" releases the magic blast, disintegrating "Heavy Metal" and reducing Roa to 500 LP as well. Yuga tells "Sevens Road Mage" that the rest is up to it, and it flies over to Roa and taps its feet against the ground. causing it to ripple as it summons a magic crest that turns the stage into an abyss that Roa plunges into with a scream as his LP falls to zero.

Goha Enterprises attempt to capture the Relic.

As the defeated Roa lies on the stage, Luke tells Yuga that he did it, and Rino, Saburamen, Rayne, Gavin, Scoop, Masa and Cub all gather around Yuga as well, Gavin declaring that Rush Dueling is safe again and Romin can be free. Romin exasperatedly protests that she always has been as Roa sits up and looks at the cheering crowd (and Kaizo praises Yuga above them). Yuga walks up to Roa, telling him that this is the first time he's had such an exciting Duel. He thanks Roa and holds out his hand, but Roa gets up on his own. He locks his gaze with Yuga's, eventually agreeing and telling him that if he wants he'll do him a favor by Dueling him again. Tyler then helps Roa hold up his microphone as he tells the crowd to give a big round of applause to Yuga and his friends. Yuga sweatdrops as the crowd erupt into cheers, and Saburamen is impressed by Roa's nerves. Then seven Goha Enterprises Drones snap spotlights on Otes and the Relic as riot police surround it, and a voice announces that Goha Enterprises will be seizing control of the Relic immediately. Mimi walks up with a microphone, ordering everyone to step aside, but then a cloud of dust erupts around the Relic as the ground begins to shake again. Yuga and Luke run up as the voice of Otes declares that Yuga has only just taken his first steps on the road to become King of Duels. Yuga admits that he wasn't initially interested in the prospect, but now he kind of wants to become the King of Duels. As the Goha police fire nets at the Relic, Yuga states that it isn't because he's following the whims of Otes, but because he wants to continue on his road. Otes and the Relic begin to sink into the ground, and Otes tells Yuga to find the key that opens the door to a new world, as he will certainly find it valuable. With that he vanishes, leaving only a hole in the stage behind, and the Goha police gasp that it's vanished. Mimi laments the Relic's disappearance again, seething at how annoying it is, while Yuga muses on the "key" the Otes mentioned as the moon shines above them.

Romin is mortified when her secret is spilled...
...while meanwhile, an unknown figure observes events in secrecy.

At the Road Laboratory the next day, Gavin wonders what the secret was that Roa was holding over Romin as she munches on a chocolate bar from the Duel Guitar. Luke glares at Romin, noting that the important secret will remain a secret as Yuga comes in with juice held by Kaizo just in time for Luke to lose his patience and order Romin to confess her secret. Romin snaps that there's no way she will say it, but Yuga steps up and asks if it's that she's tone-deaf. Romin stops short and flushes in embarrassment as the similarly tone-deaf Gavin repeats Yuga's words and Luke muses that was it. Mortified, poor Romin can only drop her chocolate bar and scream "NOOOOO!"

Meanwhile, a figure with glowing spectacles is reflected in the eye of the Restaurant A.I....

Featured Duel: Yuga Ohdo vs Roa Kassidy[edit]

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Yuga has 3400 LP and controls no cards. Roa has 2300 LP and controls "Royal Rebel's Shout" (1200/0) in Attack Position and one Set card in his Spell & Trap Zone.

Turn 4: Yuga
Yuga has just drawn "Magical Beast Wolfang", "Curtain of Sparks", "Pierce!, "Sevens Road Magician", and "Sevens Road Witch". Due to Goha Dueling Rule No. 66, Article 66, Yuga would lose the Duel due to the legality of "Sevens Road Magician" being in dispute, but at this point Otes emerges from the ground and explains that "Sevens Road Magician" is a legal card, and as such, the Duel may continue.

Yuga Normal Summons "Magical Beast Wolfang" (1100/100). Yuga Tributes "Wolfang" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Witch" (1600/1000). Yuga activates the effect of "Sevens Road Witch", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Level 7 or higher DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster from his hand, and if he Special Summons "Sevens Road Magician", then "Sevens Road Witch" gains 400 ATK. Yuga sends "Pierce!" from his hand to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500) ("Sevens Road Witch": 1600/1000 → 2000/1000). Yuga activates the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 300 for each monster with a different Attribute in his Graveyard until the end of the turn. Yuga sends "Ansler the Magical Swordsman" to the Graveyard, so there are currently six different Attributes in his Graveyard (the LIGHT "Hilt, the Bearer of Noble Arms" and "Raidacross, Hero of the Dawn", the WATER "Hydro Magician", the DARK "Dark Sorcerer" and "Kuribot", the WIND "Torna the Windweaver", the EARTH "Straynge Cat" and the FIRE "Wolfang" and "Ansler"; "Sevens Road Magician": 2100/1500 → 3900/1500). Yuga Sets a card. "Sevens Road Witch" attacks and destroys "Shout" (Roa: 2300 → 1500 LP). "Sevens Road Magician" attacks Roa directly, but Roa activates his Set Trap "King's Majesty", returning a Level 1 Fiend Type Normal Monster from his Graveyard to his Deck to negate the attack. He returns "Royal Rebel's Fanatic".

Turn 5: Roa
Roa draws "King's Authority", "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal", "Royal Rebel's Rocker", "Royal Rebel's Shout", and "Royal Rebel's Fanatic". Roa Normal Summons "Shout" (1200/0) and "Fanatic" (0/0). Roa Tributes "Fanatic" to Tribute Summon "Royal Rebel's Rocker" (1500/0). As it was Normal Summoned this turn, Roa activates the effect of "Rocker", adding a Level 6 or higher Fiend Type monster from his Graveyard to his hand, but he cannot attack directly this turn. He adds "Royal Rebel's Growl" to his hand. Roa Tributes "Rocker" to Tribute Summon "Royal Rebel's Growl" (1800/0). As "Growl" was Normal Summoned this turn by Tributing a Level 5 or higher monster, Roa activates its effect, sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to choose a monster Yuga controls and have it lose ATK/DEF equal to its Level x 200. He sends an unknown card from his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses the Level 7 "Sevens Road Magician" ("Sevens Road Magician": 2100/1500 → 700/100). Roa Tributes "Growl" and "Shout" to Tribute Summon "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" (2500/0). As "Heavy Metal" was Normal Summoned by Tributing a Level 5 or higher monster this turn, Roa activates its effect, choosing a Level 8 or lower monster Yuga controls with the lowest Level, having "Heavy Metal" gain ATK equal to the chosen monster's Level until the end of the turn, and then destroying that monster. He chooses and destroys the Level 6 "Sevens Road Witch" ("Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal": 2500/0 → 4100/0). Roa Sets a card. "Heavy Metal" attacks "Sevens Road Magician", but as Roa declared an attack while he had a Spellcaster Type monster in his Graveyard, Yuga activates his Set Trap "Curtain of Sparks", reducing the ATK of "Heavy Metal" by 500 ("Heavy Metal": 4100/0 → 3600/0). The attack continues and "Sevens Road Magician" is destroyed (Yuga: 3400 → 500 LP).

Turn 6: Yuga
Yuga draws "Sevens Road Mage", two copies of "Dark Revelation", "Rescue Magician", and "Mystic Dealer". Yuga Normal Summons "Rescue Magician" (400/1300) and "Mystic Dealer" (1000/0). Yuga activates the effect of "Rescue Magician", sending a Spell/Trap from his hand to the Graveyard to add a Spellcaster Type monster with 1500 or more ATK from his Graveyard to his hand. He sends a "Dark Revelation" to the Graveyard and adds "Sevens Road Magician" to his hand. Yuga Tributes "Rescue Magician" and "Mystic Dealer" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500). As Yuga Normal Summoned a Level 7 or higher monster while Roa controls a Level 7 or higher Fiend Type monster, Roa activates his Set Trap "King's Authority", choosing a monster Yuga controls and preventing it from activating its effects this turn. He chooses "Sevens Road Magician". Yuga Normal Summons "Sevens Road Mage" (800/800). Yuga activates the effect of "Sevens Road Mage", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to choose a Level 7 or higher monster Roa controls and make it lose 400 ATK until the end of the turn, then if he controls "Sevens Road Magician", it will lose an additional 100 ATK for each Spellcaster Type monster in Yuga's Graveyard until the end of the turn. Yuga sends an unknown card to the Graveyard and chooses "Heavy Metal", and he currently has ten Spellcaster Type monsters in his Graveyard ("Hydro Magician", Rescue Magician", "Mystic Dealer", "Hilt", "Sevens Road Witch", "Dark Sorcerer", "Ansler", "Wolfang" and "Torna"; "Heavy Metal": 2500/0 → 2100/0 → 1100/0). "Sevens Road Magician" attacks and destroys "Heavy Metal" (Roa: 1500 → 500 LP). "Sevens Road Mage" attacks Roa directly (Roa: 500 → 0 LP).
