"End of the Road", known as "The King of Duels" in the Japanese version is the ninety second and final episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime. It first aired in Japan on March 27, 2022. It became available for streaming on Hulu August 21, 2023 in America.

The Rush Robot is reaching its limits. Yuga has everyone evacuate, and heads off to face Otes in one final battle. However, Luke then stops Yuga. The two decide to talk to each other using their cards. While Yuga enjoys Dueling against his best friend, there's also grim resolve deep within his heart. It’s time for one last Rush Duel!

Summary[edit]

Yuga and Luke face off aboard the Super Rush Robot as Kaizo floats in between them, while Romin, Gavin, Roa, Nail, Asana, the Goha Six and Mrs. Drone all watch them on a holoscreen aboard Star Six. Gavin and Romin are shocked to learn Yuga will go alone if Luke doesn't win this Rush Duel and Asana begs Luke to win.

Luke declares his turn and draws a card from his Deck box. His hand contains "Dragon Bat", "Draco the Tiny", "Vengeful Dragon's Counterattack", "Concussive Charge", and "Dragorite", and he Sets two Monsters, "Dragon Bat" and "Draco the Tiny", then Sets two cards, "Vengeful Dragon's Counterattack" and "Concussive Charge", with the cards hovering in the zero gravity environment Luke places in them given their lack of Duel Disks. Luke ends his turn and Yuga comments that wasn't very like him. Luke tells Yuga to listen, vowing 700 million percent to win the Duel, and to never ever 700 trillion percent ever let Yuga do this alone.

His hand containing "Thunderbold, the Blazing Thunder", "Ultimate Flag Mech Ace Breaker", "Savage Claw Tiger", and "Amazing Dealer", Yuga declares his turn and draws a card. He activates "Graceful Charity", drawing three cards and sending two to the Graveyard (including "Ace Breaker"). Then he Summons "Amazing Dealer" and pays 300 LP to use its effect, Kaizo depicting the LP count on his screen as Yuga falls to 3700 LP. With the effect of "Amazing Dealer", Yuga discards three cards (including "Steel Mech Lord Mirror Innovator") and draws three cards, then uses "Magical Stream" as he has a Spellcaster Type monster, destroying one of Luke's Spell or Trap Cards. He playfully chooses the one on his right, and Luke grits his teeth as he holds up "Vengeful Dragon's Counterattack", Yuga cheering that he knew that one was a Trap and admitting that was a close one. He Summons "Dark Sorcerer" and then Tributes both his monsters to Tribute Summon "Thunderbold, the Blazing Thunder", then sends the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Necromaid Nana") to activate the effect of "Thunderbold", increasing its ATK by 300, to 2600. Then since he has at least four Level 7 monsters in his Graveyard ("Ace Breaker", "Savage Claw Tiger", "Bendorbreak the Conqueror", "Lightning Voltcondor" and "Mirror Innovator") he can Special Summon "Mirror Innovator". Yuga then returns the Machine Type "Ace Breaker" from his Graveyard to his Deck to activate the effect of "Mirror Innovator", increasing its ATK by 100 times the Level of the returned "Ace Breaker", increasing it to 3100 ATK. Setting "Curtain of Sparks", Yuga declares battle, sliding "Mirror Innovator" forwards to make it attack one of Luke's face-down monsters, "Dragon Bat". Yuga cheers that it's destroyed and adds that the attack of "Mirror Innovator" pierces, reducing Luke to 1300 LP. Yuga then attacks with "Thunderbold", destroying Luke's "Draco the Tiny" and ending his turn.

Luke declares his turn and draws four cards, his hand now containing "Dragorite", "Dragon's Sage", the alternate art "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", "Magic Lock", and "Dragon's Inferno". He Summons "Dragon's Sage" and "Dragorite", then Tributes them to Tribute Summon, chanting ""Seven stars collide to burst into a supernova." Yuga gasps as he recognizes the chant and Luke chants "You're not ready for this! You're so not ready for this! I say it twice because this monster strikes twice as hard! Rise into the light, Multistrike Dragon Dragias!" Luke visualizes the monster as the alternate art "Dragias" card is placed on the field, Yuga asking how Luke has it and Gavin protesting he thought "Dragias" was in the Deck that they just used in the previous Duel, but Romin has noticed it's a different "Dragias" to the one they used. Luke claims this "Dragias" represents all the feelings screaming inside him as he thinks of himself, Phantom Luke and The Lukeman; stating "Dragias" is screaming that he definitely won't let Yuga go alone. Yuga admits it's impressive and tells Luke he never stops amazing him, and Luke activates a face-down Spell Card since Yuga controls "Thunderbold" and "Mirror Innovator", "Concussive Charge", choosing a Dragon Type monster he controls and increasing its ATK by 500, then increasing its ATK by a further 500 if he chooses "Dragias". "Dragias" powers up to 3500 ATK and then Luke borrows the power of the Dragon to activate "Dragon's Inferno", destroying one of Yuga's face-down Spell or Trap Cards. Yuga is dismayed that his "Curtain of Sparks" has been destroyed and Luke sends "Fire Guardian" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the "Double Doom" effect of "Dragias", before Setting a card and declaring battle. He orders "Dragias" to attack with "Concussive Electrostatic Shockball" and it blasts the green orbs at "Thunderbold", destroying it and reducing Yuga to 2500 LP. Then Luke orders "Dragias" to attack "Mirror Innovator" with "Inferno of Infinite Destruction", launching the orange-rimmed green fireball and incinerating "Mirror Innovator", reducing Yuga to 1400 LP. Luke ends his turn. returning the ATK of "Dragias" to normal on Kaizo's screen.

Yuga declares his turn and draws five cards, "Straynge Cat", "Mystic Dealer", "Wind Spirit's Protection", "Ansler the Magical Swordsman", and "Pierce!". He Summons "Straynge Cat" and "Mystic Dealer" and Luke immediately activates a Trap Card, "Magic Lock", by returning five Normal Monsters in his Graveyard to his Deck, preventing Yuga from activating Spell Cards this turn. Yuga gasps and Luke comments Yuga was thinking of using "Wind Spirit's Protection" to boost a monster's ATK and defeat "Dragias". Yuga grits his teeth, and Asana notes his expression, Roa agreeing that Luke's right on the money. Luke comments "of course, of course" and grins, and Yuga activates the effect of "Mystic Dealer", discarding a card to draw another. Luke muses that Yuga is betting it on a single draw, but notes that most of Yuga's best cards are in his other Deck, including both his Maximum Monsters and his "Fusion". He comments that Yuga could potentially draw "Ace Breaker" again and destroy "Dragias" with its effect, but Yuga needs to discard two monsters to use that effect and judging by his reaction he doesn't have them in his hand, so the best "Ace Breaker" could do would be a crash into "Dragias" as they have equal ATK. Thus Yuga's only way out would be to draw "Sevens Road Magician", but Yuga's current Deck doesn't have "Sevens Road Magician" either. Yuga admits Luke is right; "Sevens Road Magician" is in the other Deck, and Luke tells Yuga that he can't win no matter what he draws, vowing that he will win this Rush Duel and it will end in his absolute loss. But Yuga closes his eyes and he claims Luke is wrong, for Rush Dueling doesn't have things like absolutes and you won't know who wins until the end. No matter the pinch, there's always a chance for a comeback.

He draws his card and smiles, Tributing two monsters to Tribute Summon, but instead of playing the card, he throws it to Luke and grabs a wire, telling The Lukeman he'll leave Luke to him. The Lukeman deploys his helmet to cover Luke's head as Kaizo opens the airlock, blowing Luke out into space. Romin cries Luke's name and Yuro immediately retracts his mask and orders Luke's retrieval to be prepared for. Luke is left thrashing in space once again as the Super Rush Robot begins to fly away and he asks Yuga what he thinks he's doing, protesting their Duel isn't over yet and wondering in shock if Yuga is fleeing since he knows he'll lose.

But Yuga quietly chants "A wall, a mountain, not even a planet can block my way. Nothing will stop my road to victory." Luke asks what Yuga means and The Lukeman tells Luke to look at the card. To Luke's shock, he's holding Yuga's Duel ID card, and it's transforming into an Effect Monster in Luke's hand. Gavin and Romin gasp as they realize Yuga used his own ID card and Luke gasps Yuga's name as he quietly chants "Let's go! Sevens Road Magician!" and the card in Luke's hand finishes transforming into a new "Sevens Road Magician". Nail, Roa, Gavin, Asana and Romin watch as Yuga sends the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to use the "Elemental Road" effect of "Sevens Road Magician", increasing its ATK by 300 for each different Attribute in his Graveyard, and with six, it gains 1800 ATK for a total of 3900. Romin runs off as Yuga finishes speaking and Luke screams that he won't let this happen. Harevutai begins playing as Yuga orders "Sevens Road Magician" to attack the "Dragias" card, still floating in the spaceship, with "Sevens Magic Attack" even as Luke continues to protest. He sees "Sevens Road Magician" conjure its magic crests and grin as it prepares to attack.

Yuga laughs, crying that he can't believe he finally defeated Luke in his last Rush Duel as his friends watch and Romin sprints through the halls of Star Six with her helmet. Luke screams that Yuga is wrong, asking what he means by "his last Rush Duel" as he sees Yuga walking away from him on a road of golden light, telling him they can Rush Duel again, a hundred times, no a million times more. This isn't the end, he'll win, Yuga will win, and they'll keep Rush Dueling together. He floats back into Star Six, Romin waiting to catch him at the airlock, and The Lukeman helmet vanishes to reveal Luke's eyes brimming with tears. Yuga removes his spacesuit and puts the crown made from the Goha Six's tiaras on, noting they'll be out of reception soon and vowing he'll definitely defeat Otes and save the Goha Duel Server as Romin brings Luke back to the cockpit of Star Six. They all see Yuga with his crown on as he apologizes for making Kaizo come all this way with him. Kaizo comments it's a bit late for apologies and suggests they be off, and the Super Rush Robot blasts around the moon.

In the Otes Robot, the President Drone is fluctuating between different forms and wonders what it was supposed to look like. Otes comments the Drone's memory unit must be reaching its limits if it's forgetting its appearance and the President Drone accuses someone of overusing him, but Yuga arrives before it can finish grumping. Otes admits he didn't think Yuga would come and the Otes Robot swings around as Otes calls Yuga foolish for coming all this way just to lose. The Super Rush Robot stops, crackling with electricity as Yuga comments that he wonders about that and Otes wonders if Yuga has a way out of his current situation, though how long will Yuga last in that state. Yuga tells Otes he'll see, and Otes suggests they resume their Duel locally. The Super Rush Robot and the Otes Robot clash, locking hands as Yuga and Otes both call "RUSH DUEL!" and their 400 LP both appear.

Yuga orders "Sevensgias the Magical Dragon Knight" to attack, and Otes reminds Yuga that he'll be taking all the battle damage instead. The 8600 ATK "Sevensgias" attacks the 5800 "Magician of Dark Sevens" and destroys it, but the Otes Robot is protected from the golden energy stream by a shield of purple energy and the golden energy engulfs the Super Rush Robot. But when it clears, the Robot is unharmed and Yuga has 100 LP, much to Otes' shock, and Yuga explains he activated a card, "Perfect Sevens". He explains that he can activate it when his monster attacks, returning seven Level 7 or higher monsters from his Graveyard to his Deck. As he does so he remembers his friends, Gavin as he returns "Yamiruler the Dark Delayer", Asana as he returns "Constructor Wyrm Buildragon", Roa as he returns "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal", Romin as he returns "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar", Nail as he returns "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor", and Luke as he returns "Dragias", then finally returning his own "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord" as he explains that he can gain LP equal to the DEF of "Sevensgias", which brought him to 2900 LP, just enough to survive the battle damage. Yuga adds that "Perfect Sevens" also allows "Sevensgias" to attack again, yelling that it's his win, but then amending it to their win as he remembers Luke, Romin, Gavin, Roa, Nail and Asana.

Otes asks if Yuga is sure about that, and Yuga gasps in shock, Kaizo confirming they'll soon be back in range of global communications. Yuga grits his teeth and Otes notes that it's as he thought; Yuga having come alone means he no longer has his Duel ID card. Yuga is shocked Otes already knew and Otes proclaims that Yuga will be disqualified without his ID card the moment they connect to the Goha Duel Server again and Otes will win. But Yuga jets the Super Rush Robot forward with the engines of the Star Shuttle Rush and it grabs the Otes Robot and ascends in a rainbow-colored light as Dohl protests that this is impossible; Yuga has created a hyperspace by flying at a speed close to the speed of light and Otes asks if Yuga knows what will happen if he does this. Yuga replies that he does and that Otes knows as well as Yuga what he'll do. Otes smiles and he asks if Yuga claims to know his feelings—and Yuga screams that of course he does, with Otes smiling. Pieces begins to tear from the Otes Robot and the Super Rush Robot as they ascend in the rainbow-colored light.

On Earth Mimi Imimi whispers "When the moon is full enough to be hardly recognizable" and Yosh, Saburamen, Scoop and Tiger continue "A Duelist will carve open a new path and guide the world as the King of Duels." In Star Six, Yuga's friends and the Goha Six watch the image of his smiling face as Gavin and Asana continue the prophecy: Now, to protect everyone's Duels, he sacrifices Rush Duels. Nail, Roa and Romin state: As he goes alone, the form of his departing figure is undoubtedly... Luke finishes, looking at Yuga's crown and gasping that Yuga is the King of Duels.

The Super Rush Robot releases the Otes Robot and Yuga orders "Sevensgias" to attack with "Sevens Burst of Superspeed Supremacy", "Sevensgias" igniting seven crests of magic, as does the Dragon beneath it, and both "Sevensgias" and its mount blast golden energy from its sword and maw respectively, striking the Otes Robot and damaging its visor. The light swells and consumes both the Super Rush Robot and the Otes Robot as Otes' LP falls to zero - and a small streak emerges from the light and blasts into space.

Two years later, Mimi announces to Goha City that Goha Enterprises aim to create a society where everyone can live in peace as her face appears on the videoscreens of the Goha Enterprises Main Office, vowing that Goha Enterprises will continue to tackle challenges head-on. Now wearing more adult clothes, Mimi apologizes for the delay and introduces herself as Mimi Imimi, Vice-President of Goha Enterprises. She notes they have made many strides in the past two years, particularly when it comes to Dueling, promising to continue this trend so children can enjoy Dueling more pleasantly. As several children Goha Duel in a Duel Center, an overweight man and a skinny man approach a boy and the overweight man tells him he's in the way and that brats like him should be Rush Dueling in the park, though the skinny man mockingly comments they can't since Rush Dueling doesn't exist anymore. As they laugh, Yuga Goha pushes inbetween the children and suggests they Duel him if they want to Duel, glowing with a purple aura. The men ask what's with this kid in shock and Yuga tells them they can only Duel if they want to risk their memories - and Yuka plants a baseball bat in his face and reminds him she told him not to mess with people's memories. Yuga can only swirl in pain and the men recognize them - they're the Goha Six. Yuro, Yuran (who is now even taller than Yuro) and Yujin (now as tall as the adults and even more muscular) join their siblings with Mrs. Drone, and Yuro warns the men that the Duel Regulations that were revised two years ago are still in effect, so Dueling is the right for children to play first and foremost, asking if they have forgotten. Yuka adds that this Duel Center follows that policy as well, though the men aren't keen on being pushed around by brats even if they are the Goha Presidents. Yuran holds out his hand and calls for Mrs. Drone, who places his kendo sword in his hand, and Yuran holds it out as Yujin cracks his knuckles. They both warn the men that those who interfere with the Dueling of children won't be tolerated by them as Goha Presidents, and the two men can only remain silent at the menacing aura of the brothers.

In the central park, Tracker has once again donned his gaudy clothing and sat atop his throne with new disciples, commenting that he alone is the Goha #2 Elementary Student Council President now his useless seniors have graduated and he claims they elementary school Dueling world belong to him. But Yosh steps out with Mason, Hicks and Graves, vowing he won't let that happen and now that the others are gone, Yosh will deal with the fools who pillage the elementary world, introducing himself as the Goha #7 Elementary Student Council President Post-Apocalyptic King Yosh Imimi. Now big enough to wear a helmet without a mask, Yosh vows he won't tolerate even a speck of evil. Tracker isn't happy, but by the evening they're sharing ice-creams and Tracker admits it's gotten lonely without the others and he wonders if they're doing well. Yosh suggests they hurry up and become middle schoolers as well, and Tracker eagerly comments that Luke is probably still the same even in middle school, though Yosh says "About that..."

At Goha #8 Middle School, Gavin (now wearing a black uniform) greets everyone and tells them that classes will start soon as Rayne (now in a white and blue girl's uniform) and Rino flank him, but then a shockwave buffets them and Roa's voice apologizes for keeping them waiting. Roa, Toombs and Tyler stand onstage in their customized uniforms as Roa greets his princesses, offering them a wake-up live performance. Gavin, Rayne and Rino zoom over as Gavin yells at Roa to stop in English, protesting that makeshift live performances are prohibited on school grounds, and Roa playfully comments that Gavin is as strict as always. Rayne and Rino are incensed by Roa being so rude to Gavin given his position on the Goha #8 Middle School Student Council and Roa points out that Gavin is only vice-president this time, much to Gavin's dismay. Right on cue the Student Council President herself arrives - Asana, wearing a dark coat and a long skirt with waist-length hair as she stands atop GG03, driven by Galian Townsend and flanked by Schubel Quill and Pidgetrap on HA10 and Caterpillio Elephantis's caterpillar track. Gavin and the twins zoom over to the Heavy Cavalry and when Asana asks the vice-president what he wants, Gavin can only tremble in frustration as he protests that he's asked them not to bring their Heavy Cavalry on the grounds. But then Saburamen, Sushiko Maki and Briscoe arrive with food stalls in tow, cheerfully greeting everyone, and poor Gavin seems to reach his limit, Rayne and Rino urging him to keep it together and reminding him he's still Gavin even if he's only vice-president, while Scoop, Masa and Cub surround him ready for an interview. Scoop notes that Gavin's wounds still have yet to heal after losing the election and Gavin begs them to give him a break.

Then Romin zooms into school with her hair tied back, telling everyone to move it as she slides in on the Duel-cycle. Rino initially protests but then he and Rayne recognize the bike as Yuga's Duel-cycle that Romin indefinitely borrowed from Yuga. Roa chides Romin for forgetting their secret pop-up concert this morning, and Romin tells Roa this isn't the time, asking where Luke has gone, and Gavin admits Luke didn't come to school today. Romin isn't happy Luke's done that at a time like this and Gavin asks if something has happened.

Luke is lying on the school roof looking at the "Sevens Road Magician" card that Yuga gave him, and Tiger, now with short hair like Asana used to have, walks up to her brother and asks if it's really so fun to look at the sky day after day. Luke tells Tiger it's none of her business, much to her irritation, and she warns him she's having to hold herself back from beating him up when he acts like this - but Romin beats her to it with a flying Romin Punch as she leaps off the Duel-cycle. Luke indignantly asks her what she's doing and Romin comments that she's punching the broody little mope-gias. Luke slumps with Romin's elbow still in his solar plexus and chokes that it wasn't a punch, it was a jumping something. Tiger praises Romin's technique as Gavin, Rayne and Rino emerge onto the roof as well and Luke states that he doesn't care if they think he's being whiney or mopey, but Romin puts him in an armbar and Luke yelps in pain. Romin reminds Luke that Yuga, who Luke loved so much, went missing two years ago in space, and Luke realized the road to the King of Duels he'd been chasing was something he couldn't reach, he despaired over a bunch of things. Luke tells Romin to let him go, but she just slyly tells him he's still hung up over losing the last Rush Duel he and Yuga had together. Luke is too busy trying to free himself to respond and Romin comments that for someone like Luke who only valued strength it was a huge shock to lose that Duel and she insists he actually admit how frustrated he was as she stretches Luke's arm to its limit. Luke chokes that Yuga is still gone even if he is frustrated and Romin releases him and sits up after catching her breath, asking if Luke wants revenge. Luke asks if she's an idiot and protests that of course he does, he'd do it right now if he could -

Romin hands him the Hubbel Space Binoculars and Luke recognizes them, Rino clarifying that Romin indefinitely borrowed them from Booster Page. Luke looks through the binoculars and he gasps in shock as he sees a light in the sky. Gavin confirms that Booster and his club confirmed the shape is unmistakable: it's the Mutsuba Heavy Cavalry Spaceship. Luke realizes what this means and Romin tells him "he" has come back and Luke can take his revenge now, smiling at him. Tiger comments that Luke doesn't have the guts to and grins herself, but Luke can only whisper "He's coming back".

Soon Luke, Romin and Gavin are speeding down a street on the Duel-cycle, with Gavin driving, Romin screaming and Luke hanging on for dear life. Luke yells Gavin's name and Romin protests he's going too fast, but Gavin asks what they're talking about and reminds them this isn't the time to be leisurely. They remember Yuo Goha telling them from Goha Space Elementary that he'd calculated the ship's trajectory would have it land in Goha Harbor and Gavin reminds Luke and Romin this is why they need to rush to the seaside, though Luke is still worried about having three people on the bicycle. In the Nexus, Nail watches them with Seatbastian, Buff Grimes, Kit Schrödinger, Muttsy Pavlov and Grizzle Maxwell, and he says Seatbastian's name, Seatbastian instantly responding. The street Gavin, Luke and Romin are riding on rises into the air and Nail tells them he's raised this special road for them, telling them they won't be going against providence by sharing a bicycle on one of Goha's private roads. Romin thinks it's still a problem but Gavin thanks Nail, and they rockey down the road and into the air.

At the beach, Nanananananana begins to play as Roa, Toombs, Tyler, Asana, Caterpillio, Schubel, Pidgetrap, Galian, Sushiko, Briscoe, Saburamen, Hicks, Graves, Mason, Yosh, Trench, Tracker, Diggs, Masa, Cub, Scoop, Botan Kenzaki, Osamu Rojihara, Janko Entant, Skipjack, Finn, and all the other students whose lives Yuga has touched over the years look up at the sky. The Star Shuttle Rush gets close enough to make out as Tiger, Rayne, Rino, Tiger's two aides, Vance and Tadashi Mutsuba all watch the sky from Goha #8 Middle School, the Goha Six, Mrs. Drone, Mimi, Goha's secretary, and Doctors Delta, Gamma (holding a bowl of Prima Guitarna Curry) and Zeta watch from the Goha Enterprises Main Office, Goha 66 and the rest of his organization watch with the Ramen Hut Owner from Ramen Hut, Nana Nanahoshi, Kabuto Bito and Kirihito Kamagaya watch from the Nanahoshi Insect Ninja Village, Princess G from her motorcycle, and Yuo and The Lukeman observe from Goha Space Elementary. As Gavin, Romin and Luke ride, Luke gripes over how that guy has kept him waiting for two years and Romin and Gavin smile as Luke's "Sevens Road Magician" transforms back into Yuga's Duel ID card.

The heat of atmospheric reentry around the Star Shuttle Rush dissipates and it deploys four parachutes, while inside Yuga is now clad in a similar uniform to the Goha Six and wearing a helmet akin to that of Otes as he grins, and at his house his mother welcomes him back, commenting "That works, doesn't it?". As Luke, Romin and Gavin get closer, Luke has already strapped on his Duel Disk, and then he looks down as it begins to glow, transforming into Rush Duel mode. Children all over Goha City gasp in shock as their own Duel Disks transform into the 7 shape, and a collective shout of "RUSH DUEL!" echoes across the city.

Featured Duels[edit]

Yuga Ohdo vs Lucidien "Luke" Kallister[edit]

This Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Luke
Luke's hand contains "Dragon Bat", "Draco the Tiny", "Vengeful Dragon's Counterattack", "Concussive Charge", and "Dragorite". Luke Sets "Dragon Bat" and "Draco the Tiny". Luke Sets "Vengeful Dragon's Counterattack" and "Concussive Charge". Luke's hand contains "Dragorite".

Turn 2: Yuga
Yuga's hand contains "Thunderbold, the Blazing Thunder", "Ultimate Flag Mech Ace Breaker", "Savage Claw Tiger", and "Amazing Dealer". Yuga draws "Graceful Charity". Yuga activates the Spell Card "Graceful Charity", drawing three cards, then sending two cards from his hand to the Graveyard. He draws "Bendorbreak the Conqueror", "Steel Mech Lord Mirror Innovator", and "Lightning Voltcondor", then sends "Ace Breaker" and "Savage Claw Tiger" from his hand to the Graveyard. Yuga Normal Summons "Amazing Dealer" (0/1000). As Yuga has three or less monsters in his Gravayard, he activates the effect of "Amazing Dealer", paying 300 LP (Yuga: 4000 → 3700 LP) to send three cards from his hand to the Graveyard, then draw three cards. Yuga has two monsters, "Ace Breaker" and "Savage Claw Tiger" in his Graveyard and sends "Bendorbreak", "Mirror Innovator", and "Voltcondor" from his hand to the Graveyard, then draws "Dark Sorcerer", "Magical Stream", and "Curtain of Sparks". As Yuga controls a Spellcaster Type monster, he activates the Spell Card "Magical Stream", destroying a Spell/Trap Card Luke controls. He destroys Luke's Set "Vengeful Dragon's Counterattack". Yuga Normal Summons "Dark Sorcerer" (1500/0). Yuga Tributes "Amazing Dealer" and "Dark Sorcerer" to Tribute Summon "Thunderbold the Lightning Fire Deity" (2300/1900). As "Thunderbold" was Normal Summoned this turn, Yuga activates its effect, sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of "Thunderbold" by 300 until the end of the turn, then if he has four or more Level 7 monsters with different names in his Graveyard, he can Special Summon a Level 7 monster from his Graveyard. He sends "Necromaid Nana" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Thunderbold": 2300/1900 → 2600/1900), then Special Summons "Steel Mech Lord Mirror Innovator" (2400/1800) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. Yuga activates the effect of "Mirror Innovator", shuffling up to three monsters with the same Type as it from his Graveyard into his Deck to increase its ATK equal to the combined Levels of the monster shuffled into the Deck this way x 100, and if Yuga shuffles only one monster into his Deck this way, "Mirror Innovator" inflicts piercing battle damage this turn. "Mirror Innovator" is a Machine Type monster, so Yuga shuffles the Level 7 Machine Type "Ace Breaker" from his Graveyard into his Deck ("Mirror Innovator": 2400/1800 → 3100/1800). Yuga Sets a card. "Mirror Innovator" attacks a Set monster, which is revealed to be "Dragon Bat" (1000/400). "Dragon Bat" is destroyed (Luke: 4000 → 1300 LP). "Thunderbold" attacks a Set monster, which is revealed to be "Draco the Tiny" (0/1400). "Draco the Tiny" is destroyed.

Turn 3: Luke
Luke draws "Dragon's Sage", "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", "Magic Lock", and "Dragon's Inferno". Luke Normal Summons "Dragorite" (1500/0) and "Dragon's Sage" (1100/100). Luke Tributes "Dragorite" and "Dragon's Sage" to Tribute Summon "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" (2500/1500). As Yuga controls two Level 7 or higher monsters, Luke activates his Set Spell Card "Concussive Charge", choosing a Dragon Type monster he controls and increasing its ATK by 500, and if that monster is "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", it gains an additional 500 ATK. He chooses "Dragias" ("Dragias": 2500/1500 → 3000/1500 → 3500/1500). As Luke controls a Dragon Type monster, he activates the Spell Card "Dragon's Inferno", destroying a Spell/Trap Card Yuga controls. He destroys Yuga's Set "Curtain of Sparks". Luke activates the effect of "Dragias", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to allow it to declare a second attack this turn if it destroys a monster Yuga controls by battle. He sends "Fire Guardian" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Luke Sets a card. "Dragias" attacks and destroys "Thunderbold" and "Mirror Innovator" (Yuga: 3700 → 2500 → 1200 LP).

Turn 4: Yuga
Yuga draws "Straynge Cat", "Mystic Dealer", "Wind Spirit's Protection", "Ansler the Magical Swordsman", and "Pierce!". Yuga Normal Summons "Straynge Cat" (0/1400) and "Mystic Dealer" (1000/0). As Yuga Normal Summoned a monster, Luke activates his Set Trap Card "Magic Lock", shuffling five Normal Monsters from his Graveyard into his Deck to prevent Yuga from activating Spell Cards this turn. Luke shuffles "Draco the Tiny", "Dragon Bat", "Dragon's Sage", "Dragorite", and "Fire Guardian" from his Graveyard into his Deck. Yuga activates the effect of "Mystic Dealer", sending a Spellcaster Type monster from his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. He sends "Ansler" from his hand to the Graveyard and draws "Sevens Road Magician". Yuga Tributes "Mystic Dealer" and "Straynge Cat" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500). Yuga activates the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", sending a card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 300 for each monster with a different Attribute in his Graveyard. He sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, so he has six monsters with different Attributes in his Graveyard ("Sevens Road Magician": 2100/1500 → 3900/1500). "Sevens Road Magician" attacks and destroys "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" (Luke: 1300 → 0 LP).

Yuga Ohdo vs Otes[edit]

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Yuga has 400 LP and controls "Sevensgias the Magical Dragon Knight" (3000/2500 → 8600/2500) in Attack Position and one Set card. Otes has 400 LP and controls "Magician of Dark Sevens" (2800/2600 → 5800/2600) in Attack Position. "Sevensgias" has just attacked "Magician of Dark Sevens", and due to the effect of Otes' Trap Card "Darkness Deal", Yuga takes any battle damage Otes would take from battles involving two monsters this turn.

Turn 6: Yuga
As a monster Yuga controls declared an attack while Otes controls no Spell/Trap Cards, Yuga activates his Set Trap Card "Perfect Sevens", shuffling seven Level 7 or higher monsters from his Graveyard into his Deck to choose a face-up monster he controls, gain LP equal to its DEF and allow it to declare three attacks this turn. He shuffles the Level 7 "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", the Level 7 "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar", the Level 8 "Yamiruler the Dark Delayer", the Level 8 "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal", the Level 10 "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor", the Level 8 "Constructor Wyrm Buildragon", and the Level 10 "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord" from his Graveyard into his Deck and chooses the 2500 DEF "Sevensgias" (Yuga: 400 → 2900 LP). The attack continues and "Magician of Dark Sevens" is destroyed, and due to the effect of "Darkness Deal", Yuga takes the battle damage Otes would have taken (Yuga: 2900 → 100 LP). "Sevensgias" attacks Otes directly (Otes: 400 → 0 LP).

Featured cards[edit]

The following cards appeared in this episode. Cards in italics debuted here.

Errors[edit]

  • In the timeskip, one shot mistakenly colors Luke's pants tan, the color of the pants he wears for his main outfit, instead of the black pants he is shown to wear in other shots.

Differences in Adaptations[edit]

  • In the English dub, the zoomed out scene of Romin's arm lock on Luke is removed.
