  • In episode 6, Yuma Tsukumo uses this card during his Duel against Flip Turner. When "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" (whose ATK was 2500 due to its own effect and under Flip's control via "Traitor Fog") attacks "Baby Tiragon", Yuma activates this card to prevent "Baby Tiragon" from being destroyed this turn and halve all Battle Damage he takes from battles involving "Baby Tiragon". "Number 39: Utopia" (who Flip Special Summoned from Yuma's Extra Deck to his side of the field via "Ultra C"), but this card's effect prevented "Baby Tiragon" from being destroyed and halved the damage Yuma took.
  • In episode 7, this card is shown after Yuma's Deck case falls out of his school bag and his cards fall out.
  • In episode 10, this card is seen when Caswell Francis checks Yuma's Deck for his "Number" monsters (which were not present at the time due to Astral not being around at the time).
  • In episode 21, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Lillybot while the latter was under a crook's control. When "Recycle Rhinobot" attacks "Gagaga Magician", Yuma activates this card to prevent "Gagaga Magician" from being destroyed in battle this turn and halve all Battle Damage he takes from battles involving "Gagaga Magician".
  • In episode 27, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Striker Crossit. When "Playmaker" attacks "Zubaba Buster" (whose ATK was 1000 due to Yuma using its effect earlier), Yuma activates this card to prevent "Zubaba Buster" from being destroyed in battle this turn and halve all Battle Damage he takes from battles involving "Zubaba Buster". After "Playmaker" attacks and destroys "Gogogo Golem", Striker activates the effect of "Playmaker" to let it attack again. "Playmaker" then attacks "Zubaba Buster", but this card's effect prevented "Zubaba Buster" from being destroyed and halved the damage Yuma took.
  • In episode 28, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Cody Callus. When "Strong Shovel Excavator" attacks "Gagaga Magician", Yuma activates this card to prevent "Gagaga Magician" from being destroyed in battle this turn and halve all Battle Damage he takes from battles involving "Gagaga Magician". "Jumbo Drill" (whose ATK was 2400 through its own effect) then attacks "Gagaga Magician", but while this card's effect prevented "Gagaga Magician" from being destroyed, "Jumbo Drill" inflicts piercing damage to Yuma (the damage is still halved by this card's effect though).
  • In episode 38, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Nistro and Dextra. When Yuma activates the effect of "Number 39: Utopia" in response to "Photon Strike Bounzer" attacking "Utopia" (who had 1900 ATK due to the effect of "Photon Papilloperative"), Nistro activates the effect of "Photon Strike Bounzer" to negate the effect of "Utopia" and inflict 1000 damage to Yuma, but Yuma activates "Damage Diet" to halve all effect damage he takes this turn. "Photon Strike Bounzer" continues its attack, but Yuma activates this card to prevent "Utopia" from being destroyed in battle this turn and halve all Battle Damage he takes from battles involving "Utopia".
  • In episode 45, this card appears in a flashback Yuma has when he notices that the monsters Nistro is using against Nelson Andrews aren't the same ones Yuma and Astral fought against in their previous Duel against Nistro.
  • In episode 59, this card appears in a flashback Nistro has when he reveals he and Dextra used to do everything Mr. Heartland told them to do, but after seeing Yuma's Dueling style, his burning Dueling spirit was reignited.
  • In episode 70, Yuma uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Shark and Kite against Dr. Faker. When "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon" attacks "Number 32: Shark Drake" (Faker intends for the fourth effect of "Heart-eartH Dragon" to negate the battle damage he would take and inflict an equal amount of damage to his opponents as effect damage instead), Shark activates "Escape Lure" to change the attack target to "Number 39: Utopia" and halve the damage Faker takes and Yuma activates this card to prevent "Heart-eartH Dragon" from being destroyed by battle this turn and halve the damage Faker takes. The attack fails, but the fourth effect of "Heart-eartH Dragon" nullifies the damage, inflicts an equal amount of damage to Faker's opponents, and increases Faker's Life Points equal to the damage inflicted.
  • In episode 82, this card can be seen when Yuma is rearranging his Deck.
  • In episode 96, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Vector (who was actually a clone created by the real Vector at that point). After Yuma tries to activate the effect of "Utopia" in response to "Number 104: Masquerade" attacking "Utopia" and Vector activates the effect of "Masquerade" to negate the effect of "Utopia", Yuma activates this card to prevent "Utopia" from being destroyed and halve the battle damage he takes.
  • In episode 112, this card can be seen on Yuma's desk as he mourns the loss of Astral.
  • In episode 116, this card is shown when Yuma is rearranging his Deck. Yuma states he can't remove this card.
    • This card also appears in a series of flashbacks Trey has when he explains to Yuma that the reason he repeatedly visits the places from his memories is because Yuma always believes that he will one day meet Astral again.
  • In episode 119, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Eliphas. When "New Order 6: Etheric Apophis" attacks "Number 39: Utopia" (whose ATK was 500 due to the effect of "Etheric Apophis" and had its effects negated by "Rank-Up Advantage"), Yuma activates this card to prevent his monster's destruction and halve the battle damage he takes.
  • In episode 139, Yuma uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Nash against Don Thousand. When "Number 1: Numeron Gate Ekam" attacks "Ganbara Knight" (whose effects were negated due to "Numeron Xyz Revision"), Yuma activates this card to prevent his monster's destruction this turn and halve the battle damage he takes from battles involving it. After Don Thousand activates the effect of "Numeron Gate Ekam", "Number 2: Numeron Gate Dve" (whose ATK was 2000) attacks this card, but this card wasn't destroyed and the damage was halved. After Don Thousand activates the effect of "Numeron Gate Dve", "Number 3: Numeron Gate Trini" (whose ATK was 4000) attacks this card, but this card wasn't destroyed and the damage was halved.
  • In episode 145, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Astral. When "Number 39: Utopia" attacks "Gagaga Cowboy", Yuma activates this card to prevent his monster's destruction and halve the damage he takes, but Astral activates "Absolute Buster" to negate this card's effect of prevent a monster's destruction. "Utopia" then destroys "Gagaga Cowboy".
