Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

Duelist Kingdom[edit]

  • In episode 29, Mai uses this card during her Duel against Yami Yugi. When "Gaia The Fierce Knight" attacks Mai's "Harpie Lady", Mai activates this card to negate the attack and halve the ATK of "Gaia the Fierce Knight". On Yugi's next turn, "Summoned Skull" attacks "Harpie Lady", but Yugi forgot at that point that this card was a Continuous Trap Card. As a result, this card's effect negated the attack and halved the ATK of "Summoned Skull". Later Mai activates "Shadow of Eyes" to switch Yugi's "Dark Magician" to Attack Position and force it to attack "Harpie Lady". This card then negates the attack and halves the ATK of "Dark Magician". In the next episode, Yugi activates the effect of "Catapult Turtle" to Tribute "Harpie's Pet Dragon" (who Yugi took control of via "Brain Control") and destroy this card as well as inflict damage to Mai equal to half the ATK of "Harpie's Pet Dragon".

Legendary Heroes[edit]

  • In episode 44, Mai uses this card during her Duel against Joey Wheeler in the coliseum. When "Flame Swordsman" attacks "Harpie Lady", Mai activates this card to negate the attack and halve the ATK of "Flame Swordsman". This card remained on the field until the Duel got canceled.

Battle City[edit]

  • In episode 80, Mai sets this card during her Duel against Jean-Claude Magnum, but does not activate it. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
  • In episode 90, Mai uses this card during her Duel against Yami Marik. When Marik's "Masked Beast Des Gardius" attacks Mai's "Dunames Dark Witch", Mai activates this card to halve the ATK of "Des Gardius". "Dunames Dark Witch" then destroys "Des Gardius", but this allows Marik to activate "The Mask of Remnants" which equips onto "Dunames Dark Witch" and switches control of it to Yami Marik. Marik then activates "Remove Trap" to destroy this card.

Virtual World[edit]

Waking the Dragons[edit]

  • In episode 152, this card appears in a flashback that Mai Valentine has which relates to her many victories but feeling no joy from it. Mai uses this card during her Duel against an unknown opponent. When "Tri-Horned Dragon" attacks Mai's "Cyber Harpie", Mai activates this card to halve the ATK of "Tri-Horned Dragon". The opponent then activates "Rush Recklessly" to increase the ATK of "Tri-Horned Dragon" by 700, but Mai activates "Fairy's Hand Mirror" to change the target of "Rush Recklessly" to "Cyber Harpie Lady", increasing its ATK by 700. "Cyber Harpie Lady" then destroys "Tri-Horned Dragon", winning Mai the duel.
  • In episode 173, this card was shown in Mai's hand during Duel against Joey Wheeler. It drops from her hand right when she rushes over to Joey who had lost the Duel due to exhaustion.
