  • In episode 20, Number 96's holder uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying three "Giant Germs". • In episode 20, Number 96 uses this card during his Duel against Bronk Stone while the former was using Yuma's Deck. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Darklon", "Pinecono" and "Acorno" (who were all Level 2 through the effect of "Darklon" and with the same effect making "Pinecono" and "Acorno" DARK monsters). This card attacks Bronk's "Aye-Iron" (whose ATK was 2000 through its own effect) and Number 96 activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and halve the ATK of "Aye-Iron" as well as add it to this card's ATK. This card then destroys "Aye-Iron". Later "Utopia" (whose ATK was 3000 via the effect of "Gearspring Catapult") attacks this card, but Number 96 activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and halve the ATK of "Utopia" as well as add it to this card's ATK. Bronk then activates the effect of "Utopia" to negate the attack. Number 96 then activates "Counterforce" to inflict damage to Bronk equal to the difference in ATK between this card and "Utopia". Later this card attacks "Utopia" and Number 96 activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and halve the ATK of "Utopia" as well as add it to this card's ATK. Bronk activates the effect of "Utopia" to negate the attack, but Number 96 activates "Overlay Banish" to negate the effect of "Utopia". This card then destroys "Utopia". Number 96 then activates "Xyz Cyclone" to destroy Bronk's set "Gearspring Exploder" as "Utopia" was destroyed by battle (He was going to destroy "Gearspring Catapult", but Yuma, pretending to be possessed by Number 96's power, claimed Bronk was going to use "Gearspring Exploder" to win the Duel once it's his turn). On the last turn of the Duel, Bronk activates the effect of "Gearspring Spirit" to make this card's ATK 0. After Bronk activates the effect of "Gearspring Catapult" to increase the ATK of "Utopia" by 500, "Utopia" attacks and destroys this card, winning Bronk the Duel. After the Duel, Astral is shown holding and looking at this card as he ponders over if there are other memories like the other this card showed him.

  • In episode 89, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against the Shadow Giant. This card is added to Yuma's Deck after Astral unseals Number 96 and it bequeaths its card to Yuma for this Duel. Yuma then Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Magical Undertaker", "Caligo Claw Crow", and "Gagaga Magician" (who was Level 2 via its own effect). This card attacks "Unformed Void" (whose ATK was 7600 through its own effect twice) and Yuma activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and halve the ATK of "Unformed Void" as well as add it to this card's ATK. Yuma then activates "Battle Restart" to nullify the battle damage he would take from this battle and prevent both monsters from being destroyed by this battle in order to let this card attack again. This card attacks "Unformed Void" again and Yuma activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and halve the ATK of "Unformed Void" as well as add it to this card's ATK. This card then destroys "Unformed Void", winning Yuma the Duel. After the Duel, Number 96 escapes from the Emperor's Key and takes this card with him as he flees off.
  • In episode 101, this card was in the possession of a senator named Parker (under Number 96's control) until Vector introduces himself to Parker and reveals to Number 96 he can help him find another "Number". After Vector gives Number 96 "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" as proof of his loyalty. Number 96 places this card back into himself after he agrees to assist Vector. This card then destroys "Utopia". Later Astral activates the effect of "Explossum" to equip it to this card and explains "Explossum" will destroy this card when it has no Overlay Units. Number 96 then activates the effect of "Djinn Buster" to negate the effect of "Explossum" and inflict 500 damage to Astral. Later this card attacks and destroys "Swordsman of Revealing Light" (whose DEF was 1400 due to the effect of "Chaos Number 65: King Overfiend"). Later Astral activates "Superior Overlay" to destroy Number 96's "Numbers" unless he detaches an Overlay Unit from them. Number 96 detaches this card's last Overlay Unit to prevent its destruction while "King Overfiend" is destroyed. Astral then activates the effect of "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray" twice to increase its ATK by 1000 (500 for each Overlay Unit detached) and decrease this card's ATK by 2000 (1000 for each Overlay Unit detached). "Utopia Ray" then attacks this card, but Number 96 activates "Chaos Return" to negate the attack and activate the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" from his Graveyard, Ranking Up this card via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 96: Dark Storm".
