(In the anime, this card's effect could only be used to banish itself from the Graveyard and Special Summon "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" from the Graveyard.)

• In episode 173, Atticus Rhodes uses this card during his duel against Yusuke Fujiwara, who is possessed by Nightshroud. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. This card then attacks and destroys "Clear Phantom". This activates the effect of "Clear Phantom", destroying this card and forcing Atticus to send the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard. On the fourth End Phase of the Duel, after the second effect of "Swing of Memories" destroys Atticus's "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", he activates this card's effect from his Graveyard, banishing it to revive "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" once more.
• Its attack name was "Dark Flame".
