"Turret Warrior" appears in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's intro, Last Train - The New Morning.
Its attack name in the Japanese version is "Revolving Shot".

In episode 23, Yusei Fudo uses this card during his Ground Duel against Akiza Izinski. He Special Summons this card by Tributing "Speed Warrior". This card then gains ATK equal to the ATK of "Speed Warrior" due to its effect. This card then attacks "Wall of Ivy", but this activates the effect of "Wall of Ivy", Special Summoning an "Ivy Token" to Yusei's side of the field. This card then destroys "Wall of Ivy". The third effect of "Cursed Ivy" then Special Summons two "Ivy Tokens" to Yusei's side of the field. Later "Rose Tentacles" attacks and destroys this card.

In episode 28, Yusei uses this card during his Ground Duel against Grady while the latter was a Shadow Drone. He Special Summons this card by Tributing "Junk Warrior". This card then gains ATK equal to the ATK of "Junk Warrior" due to its effect. This card then attacks and destroys "Frozen Fitzgerald", but Grady activates the second effect of "Frozen Fitzgerald" to revive it Defense Position. At the end of the Battle Phase, the last effect of "Frozen Fitzgerald" destroys this card.

In episode 46, Yusei uses this card during his Ground Duel against Roman Goodwin. He Special Summons this card by Tributing "Speed Warrior". This card then gains ATK equal to the ATK of "Speed Warrior" due to its effect. This card then attacks and destroys "Ground Spider". At the end of the Damage Step, the effect of "Spider Web" switches this card to Defense Position. Later Yusei tunes this card with "Junk Synchron" in order to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".

In episode 67, Yusei uses this card during his Ground Duel against Rudolph Heitmann. He uses the effect of "Eccentric Boy" to tune this card with "Eccentric Boy" while the former was in Yusei's hand in order to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".
In episode 88, Yusei uses this card during his Ground Duel against Kalin Kessler. He Special Summons this card by Tributing "Speed Warrior". This card then gains ATK equal to the ATK of "Speed Warrior" due to its effect. Yusei then tunes this card and "Card Breaker" with "Boost Warrior" (who is a Tuner monster in the anime) in order to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".
In episode 89, Yusei uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Lawton. He Special Summons this card by Tributing "Max Warrior". This card then gains ATK equal to the ATK of "Max Warrior" due to its own effect. This card then attacks and destroys "Full Armor Ogre". This activates the last effect of "Full Armor Ogre", allowing Lawton to revive "Gatling Ogre". In the next episode, "Big Cannon Ogre" attacks this card. Lawton then banishes the "Skill Successor" in his Graveyard in order to increase the ATK of "Big Cannon Ogre" by 800 until the End Phase. "Big Cannon Ogre" then destroys this card. Due to the effect of "Big Cannon Ogre", the Battle Damage Yusei takes is doubled.

In episode 101, during Yusei's Turbo Duel against Breo, Yusei is forced to send this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of "Tuning Collapse".
In episode 109, this card is shown in Yusei's hand during his Turbo Duel against Primo. In the next episode, this card is still shown to be in Yusei's hand.
