Card Rulings:Star Seraph Sovereignty
OCG Rulings
- "Cannot be used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon, except for an Xyz Summon that uses 3 or more monsters as Xyz Materials." is not treated as the effect of a monster.[1]
- The "If you Normal or Special Summon a "Star Seraph" monster(s), except during the Damage Step: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card, then you can Special Summon it if it is a "Star Seraph" monster." effect is a Trigger Effect that is activated from the hand. (This effect does not target.)[1]
- If you Normal or Special Summon a "Star Seraph" monster while you have 2 copies of "Star Seraph Sovereignty" in your hand, only the effect of 1 "Star Seraph Sovereignty" can be activated. (The effects of each copy of "Star Seraph Sovereignty" cannot be activated in the same Chain.) However, if you Normal or Special Summon a "Star Seraph" monster, and activate the effect of the first "Star Seraph Sovereignty", when that monster is Special Summoned, you can activate the effect of the second "Star Seraph Sovereignty".[2]
