- The effect "FLIP: You can activate this effect; this turn, "Subterror" cards you control cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects" is a Trigger Effect that can optionally be activated when "Subterror Behemoth Dragossuary" itself is flipped face-up. (It does not target.)[1]
- The effect "this turn, "Subterror" cards you control cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects" can be activated even if "Subterror Behemoth Dragossuary" is flipped face-up during the Damage Step.[1]
Q&A Rulings
- Q: Is the "FLIP" effect of "Subterror Behemoth Dragossuary" only applied to "Subterror" cards that are face-up on my field when the effect resolves?
- A: The effect of "Subterror Behemoth Dragossuary" that prevents "Subterror" cards on your field from being destroyed by your opponent's card effects that turn does not just apply to those cards that are face-up on your field when the effect resolves. After applying the effect of "Subterror Behemoth Dragossuary", any "Subterror" cards that are face-up on your field during that turn cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. (For example, if you Normal or Special Summon a new "Subterror" monster afterward, the effect is also applied to that monster.)[2]
