Q&A Rulings
- Q: Multiple copies of "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord", or "Windrose the Elemental Lord" are face-up in my Monster Zone. If multiple of those monsters are destroyed at the same time by the effect of "Dark Hole", is the effect that skips the Battle Phase applied?
- A: Even if multiple copies of "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord" etc. leave the field at the same time, only the Battle Phase of your next turn is skipped. (This is no different than having only 1 copy leave the field.)[2]
- Q: After Special Summoning "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord", or "Windrose the Elemental Lord", control of it was changed to my opponent by the effect of "Creature Swap". If that monster is destroyed by the effect of "Ring of Destruction", is the effect that skips the Battle Phase applied?
- A: After control of a "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord" etc. that you own is changed to your opponent, if it is destroyed on your opponent's field, the effect that skips the Battle Phase is applied to the player that controlled it at that time. (In this case, the effect is applied to your opponent, and the Battle Phase of your opponent's next turn is skipped.)[3]
- Q: "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord", or "Windrose the Elemental Lord" is face-up in my Monster Zone, and its effects are being negated by "Skill Drain". In this situation, if that monster leaves the field, is the effect that skips the Battle Phase applied?
- A: Even if "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord" etc. leaves the field while its effects are being negated by "Skill Drain", the effect that skips the Battle Phase of your next turn is still applied.[4]
