Card Tips:Darklord Marie
- This card can be searched by "Banishment of the Darklords", "Condemned Darklord", "Indulged Darklord", "Darklord Morningstar", "Fusion Deployment", "Fusion Conscription", "Fusion Reserve", "Gazelle the King of Mythical Claws", "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Chaos Zone", "Imperial Princess Quinquery", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be sent directly from the Deck to the Graveyard with "Foolish Burial", "Armageddon Knight" or "Dark Grepher".
- By utilizing both effects of "Dark Grepher", all 3 copies of this card can be placed into your Graveyard in a single turn: discard 1 to Special Summon "Dark Grepher", then discard a 2nd to send the 3rd directly from your Deck to the Graveyard.
- "Elemental HERO Prisma" can be Summoned, and use the effect of "Prisma" on "St. Joan" to send this card directly from your Deck to the Graveyard. If "Prisma" can be kept on your field for 3 turns (or keep it around for 1 more turn and get a 2nd in play), 3 copies of this card can be placed into your Graveyard rather quickly, maximizing the LP gains from this card rather quickly.
- As shown in the anime, "Darklord Marie" can be very easily combined with "Fire Princess" and "Gravity Bind" to constantly eat away 500 points of damage to the opponent each turn and lock down most monsters from breaking the combo, as only Xyz Monsters and Link Monsters can get past "Gravity Bind" naturally, making it a great combo for stall/burn decks.
Traditional Format[edit]
- Use "Painful Choice" to send multiple copies of this card from the deck to the Graveyard.
- "Graceful Charity" can dump "Darklord Marie" into the Graveyard from the hand, thus setting her up for her effect to activate.
