Forum:Cloudy with a chance of PUNISHMENT!!! My new Cloudian deck in all its glory!

Whilst perusing the selection of discount cards at one of my regular card stores, I happened upon a congregation of Cloudian cards. Remembering how my ass had been handed to me by a fellow duelist with his own Cloudian deck, I bought their entire stock of Cloudians (for around $8), and then I went over to the more expensive card store a few blocks over, and completed my collection of Clouds. I threw together a make-shift Cloudian deck, and after a few friendly duels, shaped it into a fairly decent deck!

    Monsters:

Cloudian - Sheep Cloud, Cloudian - Smoke Ball(x2), Cloudian - Ghost Fog(x2), Cloudian - Poison Cloud, Marshmallon, Cloudian - Turbulence, Cloudian - Storm Dragon, Mudora, Cloudian - Acid Cloud(x2), Cloudian - Altus(x2), Cloudian - Cirrostratus(x3), Cloudian - Nimbusman(x2), Athena, Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon.

    Spells:

Double Summon, Summon Cloud, Diamond-Dust Cyclone, The Sanctuary in the Sky, Salvage(x2), Fog Control(x2), Cloudian Squall(x2).

    Traps:

Dark Bribe, Call of the Haunted, Natural Disaster, Defense Draw(x2), Updraft(x2), Limit Reverse(x2), Spirit Barrier(x2).

Like all good Cloudian decks, mine contains the basic Cloudian Lockdown strategy; Cloudians combined w/ Spirit Barrier and/or The Sanctuary in the Sky, which protects my life points while my opponent is unable to destroy monsters by battle! Defense Draw is also included as an extra precaution for two reasons; (1), it protects my LP from damage, and (2), it helps me find Spirit Barrier or The Sanctuary in the Sky faster with an extra draw. Cloudian - Sheep Cloud and Cloudian - Turbulence allow me to fill up my field with Cloudians in preparation for the Normal Summon of another Cloudian, for as many Fog Counters as possible. Salvage, Limit Reverse and Athena allow me to revive nearly any Cloudian in my grave for another round of fun. This deck is good, but it could probably be better. Do you have any ideas for it, that won't require me going broke?

I argue the usefulness of Lucky Cloud. Very few people I see have it in their deck, and I think it is good enough to have maybe 2 in most cloudian decks. With cloudian's ability to quickly summon monsters, pulling it off isn't too difficult and the payoff is 2 cards! However, since your deck isn't pure cloudian, iI suggest maybe including 1. Also, if you're going fairy/cloudian, try Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen instead of Double Summon and/or Summon Cloud. Yes, Summon Cloud is an excellent card with its revival effect, but Valhalla affects all fairies - not just cloudians. Of course this means you will have to add more fairies. This is all I feel like saying for now.. Also, you can look at my post for this question: Forum:Cloudian Deck 2010. 74.177.138.83 00:08, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Just add that necrovalley cat. add a trap to the top of your deck.

because when it's flip you can just search for it so replace defense draw for it.
