Finished - Need help with a deck of mine

I hate coming back here (and I would rather avoid Jon Kovacs, to avoid a flame war), but I need some serious help with this Jackal deck. I've been wracking my brain trying to come up with a good set of cards to make the lock work, but it seems like any card I try to use either isn't sufficient enough (ie. Ruthless Denial) or is negated by The End of Anubis (ie. Dark Coffin). Can anyone help me streamline this deck?

Just to clarify things; I'm not a tournament duelist, but I do want to build this deck to be somewhat viable, so unless there is absolutely no other option, I would rather use substitutes to tournament staples like Solemn Judgment. Also, I'm a lot more comfortable playing with a deck of around 50 cards; I've tried decks with around 40 cards, and I feel it really restricting for me, often decking out before I can get the strategy in place. Finally, almost all of my decks stick with a theme more than a strategy, so keep that in mind when making suggestions. Thanks. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 13:04, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

SynjoDeonecros, while I understand your interest in not using "tournament staples", would you be willing to at least test play a deck that involves them, before searching for substitutes to use? It may work out that you will have an easier time finding more obscure cards to replace them with after testing the deck with them in, because you will be able to see any difficulties the deck might have. Your thoughts? Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 01:37, May 25, 2011 (UTC)
I...can't really fault your logic with that. And, since I now have access to the Dueling Network, there's really no reason why I couldn't do that. Okay, in that case, how would you refine this deck with tournament staples? SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 20:01, May 25, 2011 (UTC)
I will have to do some research and get back to you. This isn't a deck type that I am familiar with. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 00:06, May 26, 2011 (UTC)

Can I just help? I'm serious about the Black Rose, it's worth trying on the Duel site. Starlight Road would also be great (stops BRD AND gives you a Stardust for tributes of protection). Instead of Into the Void, try Upstart Goblin or Pot of Duality. Phoenix Wing Wind Blast should better serve the purpose of this deck than Raigeki Break.BobaFett2 (talk)

Okay, just because I said I'm willing to test out "tournament staples" as a way of finding alternatives, that still hasn't changed my mind about using Synchros when I don't need them, and a Jackal Lockdown, by any other name, does not need Synchros to work, so thanks, but no Stardust or Black Rose, please. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 00:21, May 26, 2011 (UTC)
I can assure you, the closest to synchros that the deck will get is perhaps some cards to counter them in the extra deck. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 00:39, May 26, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Charmer/Ritual

Hey guys! If possible, can someone make me a Charmer/Ritual deck? I've tried some combinations but none seem to be working out. I've got a $50 dollar limit. My email is [email protected]. thnx~nahson13

Did you want a few of the charmers or all of them? And what ritual monster would you prefer? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 16:34, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

I've tried putting in a few of the charmers and Doriado, along with Ruin Queen of Oblivion. One of my friends pointed out that the Demise king was better. I believe i'd stand a better chance if i ran one or two charmers and not all of them. But if you think the deck will run more smoothly, do what you think is best.--Nahson13 (talkcontribs) 16:48, May 21, 2011 (UTC)Nahson13

Maybe Something like this?
So, how's that? Shouldn't be too expensive, but if it is then tell me. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 18:41, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

It's looking like it's gonna be too expensive for my 50 dollar limit but thanks. I don't think the charmers can survive on their own because they aren't strong enough, ive tried monarchs, but I only have one Caius and 2 Granborg. I don't know what else to put in them to power them up. Got any more suggestions?--Nahson13 (talkcontribs) 19:28, May 21, 2011 (UTC)Nahson13

If you don't have Judgement, then add in another Stun. --99.33.36.125 (talk) 22:16, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

Seems like it may work, i'm going to take it into the wild and see whats up, ill report back in on tuesday to post results, thanks.--Nahson13 (talkcontribs) 16:36, May 22, 2011 (UTC)Nahson13

Ok I'm back, I dont know what it is, but i just can't seem to win that much with this build. i playtested my friends in 10 duels and i only won 3. It may be the charmers, but i give up. I'm gonna try making a ninja or hero deck. Any thoughts on those? Thnx for the help--Nahson13 (talkcontribs) 17:23, May 25, 2011 (UTC)Nahson13

Finished - Water CONTROL or Warrior instead?!

Hi. I used to play this game a little while ago. (3 years) Im looking to get back into it, and A Legendary Ocean based control deck is probably and option. (Ice Barriers maybe? something else?)

I have 400 dollars to spend to get basically the entire deck. I want something FRESH and VIABLE. CookieCutter is fine with me as long as it's fairly CURRENT. Old Cookie Cutter = Fail.

Also, if you want to lay me down some general focus/strategy for the deck that would be REALLY great too.

Thanks a lot!

(Im also considering some sort of warrior deck too. Suggestions of which one to pick? Water or Warrior? SixSamurai or IceBarrier? SOMETHING ELSE?!?! DROP ME A TIP!!!)

Something like this maybe?

Just use Mermaid Knight and Amphibious Bugroth to clear the field and the opponent's LP, Codarus and Levia help to clear the field and maintain more control. Grizzly searches most of your WATER monsters. Penguin Soldier is used to clear field of monsters. Upstart Goblin is used to draw, Salvage is used to reuse monsters, rest of the spells and traps are to help you live. Forgotten Temple is used to save some monster + it acts like "Umi".

How's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:49, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - RFG Psychics Deck

Uh, Hi, can you make me an EFFECTIVE RFG Psychic Deck which were released in Extreme Victory and Generation Force. I made one but it was not effective and i cannot summon the ace card Mental Over Archfiend but instead i summon Hyper Psychic Blaster T_T also put the Psychic Fusion too. I dont care if its OCG really, i also have no money limit. Help me. Thanks a Bunch dudes. SOrry for the trouble :) 33royward (talkcontribs) 02:49, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

I've made a quite effective one, could I do this Ace?BobaFett2 (talk)

This is similar to a deck I made on Dueling Network. My deck was a bit inconsistent but on good hands it was extremely powerful. This deck should be more consistent. It relies on Overdrive Teleporter (for high-level Synchro Summons) as well as Miracle Synchro Fusion and Psychic Feel Zone. I have yet to test it, but here's the rough version.BobaFett2 (talk)

Very interesting but you only suggested 38 cards for the main deck. I decided to add Psi Beast. and Since i still go through a lot of LP problems, i added Power Tool and Life Stream which i can easily summon with mind master. Thanks for your help dude. 33royward (talkcontribs) 04:18, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Spider Deck help 46.60.252.75 (talk) 12:45, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

I am looking to make a spider deck similar to that of Roman for the tv series. My price range is unlimited and for the moment I have been using the cards from the 'spider' page of this wikia but I have been unable to make it work. Thanks for all help in advance. Yeah this seems pretty good, I might see if i could sqeeze in an Uru somewhere and some more of the spider based cards myself but this is a great help, thanks.

Finished - Judgement of Daedalus Deck

I'd like to put in a request for a Deck I have in mind. I've built it before and it worked wonders, and now I want to see what you Deckbuilders can add to it. Basically the idea was to use Daedalus as the WATER version of Judgement Dragon - destroying all the cards on the field, then attacking. Here are the guidelines for the Deck, hope they're not too difficult"

Guidelines are: - The Main Deck must contain only WATER monsters - 3 "A Legendary Ocean" - 2 or more "Warrior of Atlantis" - "Divine Dragon Aquabizarre" (any number you see fit) - 3 "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus" OR 2 "Daedalus" and 1 "Neo-Daedalus" - This is gonna sound picky, but please, no cookie cutting if at all possible

That's all I can think of. Don't worry about budget, and thanks in advance. I also would like to request that either Resk! or Dark Ace SP be the Deckbuilder for my Deck please.

Warioman219 (talkcontribs) 15:08, May 23, 2011 (UTC)warioman219

Sure, I'll take. Resk has been really busy lately. Plus, I love WATER builds. :) --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:08, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

How would this work out?
How's that? If you have any complaints please tell me. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:21, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

It looks really good. I'll have to playtest it on an online program, since I lack a couple of the cards right now, but I'll let you know how it turned out. Thanks again :)

Finished - Blue Sworns

I would like to make a competetive tournament worthy...blue sworn deck. that is a deck based around getting out blue eyes shining yet able to get out judgement dragon and sync if nessesary. this will be a very challenging tasks im sure. There is no budget!!! make it awesome...thanks in advanced 97.119.74.211 (talk) 04:26, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, but you need an account to request here.BobaFett2 (talk)

I didnt know that would be a problem as before a few years ago the deck i requested was made without me needing an account...but since i am nice jk i have registered xDZkaii (talkcontribs) 21:38, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

K, so use Summoner of Illusions to SS Ultimate Dragon, then tribute for Shining. Lightsworns mill for Judgement, use Avarice to recover. Gold and Duality help search out. Everything else is to help you live or are staples.

So, How's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:39, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Pyro Burn Deck Request

A while back i used this forum to help me create a dino deck and it has worked really well for me so far, i was looking in your archives for a pyro type burn deck that i could either use or adapt for play. However i couldent find one so i thought i would post a request for one. this is the first time iv used the wikia forums so sorry if this goes a bit wrong. Below is a list of specifications i would like to meet if at all possible.

● Although i would like a Pyro themed burn deck if there are other types of cards that will benifit it i would rather them be included than discarded because they are not themed i would just like a good base of pyro monsters

● I have around £30 - £50 to spend

● I do not know if there are any pyro fusion monsters but if there are any good ones i would like them to be included if they will not adversly effect the deck

● I dont particularly like syncrho monsters but again if there is one that would drastically improve the deck i would rather it be included than not ( i can always remove it later if i dont get along with it)

Thankyou very much for takeing the time to read this request im sorry for any grammer and spelling mistakes i am dyslexic and i couldent find a spell checker on this forum. Thankyou again for your time :)

Sorry, but you need an account to request here.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - Naturia Deck

I'm on a budget of $50 (willing to stretch if needed) for a competetive Naturia deck. It doesn't have to be based on Naturia, but that's what I have most access to (due to Hidden Arsenals, mostly #4). Take whatever direction necessary to make this deck as competitive as possible, as I'm using it for local tournaments. This is the lousy deck I threw together so far:

Thanks to whoever has the time to help me out (because lord knows I need it), and I may come back if it comes to win a few tournaments. Dragoonsnake (talkcontribs) 04:14, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

I've tested it a total of once, and so far it's very general. Howling Insect works as the deck's Giant Rat, or Mystic Tomato, but it's only useful for itself and for Naturia Butterfly. And Man-Eater bug, but who wants that faceup? Exterio is useless (literally) so far, so it's just there so you know I already have it. The traps are mostly counters, and the spells are pretty useful. Plus, the combination of Gaia Power and either Naturia Mantis or Naturia Strawberry then I have a beatstick or two. I'm in the process of getting more Naturias from my friends, but until then I'm up for suggestions on what to throw in here. Dragoonsnake (talkcontribs) 22:08, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

So, use the Mantis, Horneedle, Man-Eater, and Medusa Worm for control of the field. Doom Dozer is your beatstick and easy SS. Get the Synchros if you can great for messing up the enemy. Rest are staples and Insect Neglect helps you survive more. Test it out on an free online site like DuelingNetwork.com (Google it).

How's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:10, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

I like it! It came out a lot more offensive than I thought it would, and most of my cards are still there. Thanks for the time and the deck! :P Dragoonsnake (talkcontribs) 23:29, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

I just realized...You got the spell count wrong. It's two cards short. Dragoonsnake (talkcontribs) 06:41, June 4, 2011 (UTC)

Fixed, added some new traps. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:37, June 4, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - anti-U

i'm gonna go to regionals...i've heard that pretty much everyone is gonna use 6 sams....i want a anti six/anti lightsworns...i dont know if its easy to make or even possible but i'd appriciate the help..obviously there is no budget...maybe a 3 turn otk or sumtin like that would be awesome as well...i know im asking for a bit much...u guys take it and make it into a awesome unbeatable deck keep in mind i h8 6 sams and lightsworns xD but if they help inside the deck i dont mind then Necrozi (talkcontribs) 05:07, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

i dont even think this deck is possible....i mean lightsworns are supposed to be in graveyard and six sams are supposed to be on the field..now u can make a anti special/field control deck but how can u mix that in with anti graveyard deck....the possiblities are limited and i dont think that a deck like this would stand a chance which is why i want ur help =D....Necrozi (talkcontribs) 05:25, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

As strange as it may sound, Lightsworn are -not- graveyard based. The only cards in the archtype that -use- the GY are Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner, everything else reacts to going their, or counting it, if you get what i mean. Anyway, here, we, go~!

Bare with me here, This deck has many outs to The Six Samurai due to large amouts of bounce & swarm, stopping them get a 'six samurai' on the field, due to the Comp/Prision/Mind Crush/Oppresion/W Meteor(+Yagan)

Thunder King Rai-Oh stops their mass searching, EDA can destroy sheien with no effort if needed, while king can run over it, Duality adds speed, and you won't usually be special summoning on your turn.

For Lightsworn, the same applies, just negate their moves, and use the decks control to prevent them gaining advantage, and negate the summons of JD with rai-oh/Oppresion, or the effects of it with veiler,

So, how's that?-Resk ✩ (Talk) 12:23, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

alright i know i said no budget but 3 pot of duality is a bit over board xD any substitue for 2 of them? Necrozi (talkcontribs) 21:40, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

You can drop all 3 for Upstart Goblin, as once you hit control, lp don't matter-Resk ✩ (Talk) 21:57, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

can u tell me what program u use to find each card or are u just that good? and can u tell me what this decks weaknesses are? 97.119.0.168 (talk) 07:49, May 26, 2011 (UTC)

I duel people often, so see a number of decks, i've been playing a while, so i know many of the cards, and i follow realeses so i can see what's coming out, as for the decks weaknesses, like many, it's vulnrable to Skill Drain, but it can get round that with a Worm King tributing itself, The main weakness, is if the opponents can set up before you can deploy, (and Royal Decree)
-Resk ✩ (Talk) 11:35, May 26, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Ur Special...Not!!

i was wondering if u guys could make a deck for me that bans my opponent from special summoning while allowing me to summon monsters that really arent effected by traps or spells so that i can attack my opponent while he has weak monsters on the field..my friend has a elemental hero deck and 6 sam deck both use special summons a lot...i h8 that when he gang rapes me by special summoning so much stuff...pretty much i want a anti special deck....and to win i either want to burn them to death or mill them to death or just whipe them out...keep in mind i am on a very low budget...approx 30-40 bux but i probably will have most of the expensive cards so if u must go over the limit just tell me the substitutes to use instead of the ones...whew did i type enough? TYGuys Minatoyz (talkcontribs) 08:17, May 26, 2011 (UTC)

I'll do this one.BobaFett2 (talk)

Unfortunately, aren't any great Special Summon blockers that are cheap. The best are Rai-Oh and Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo (20 and 40 dollars, respectively). I'll focus on the Vanity Cards instead. If you have them, Dark Bribe is usually more useful than Magic Drain and Solemn Judgment/Warning are better than Black Horn of Heaven.

I have yet to test this deck but it may or may not work.

I've been thinking about a different type of deck for negating Synchro Summons as well. You stop them with Discord and use Possessed Dark Soul to steal their monsters. Then return Discord with Mist Valley Falcon and Synchro Summon or if Synchro Monsters are out of your budget you can use Cannon Soldier instead. Alternatively, you can use Vanity's Emptiness to stop them from Synchro Summoning after they've Normal Summoned. Then, Normal Summon a Possessed Dark Soul to get rid of it.BobaFett2 (talk)

Both of these are cheap and work to this purpose (although in a different manner).BobaFett2 (talk)

Credit to Resk for Macro Anti-Special Summon. If you want, I'll make a deck around Vanity's Emptiness, Macro Cosmos, and Imperial Custom for you.BobaFett2 (talk)

i found out via playing the yugioh games on nintendods and psp that a synchro summon is considered a special summon is that true ifso would the vanity's basically negate sychro summons and yes i would like you to make the deck with what u said there at the end =D97.119.0.168 (talk) 01:01, May 27, 2011 (UTC)

Yes it's true.BobaFett2 (talk)

This deck effectively has no budget. You can modify the line-up as you wish.

Finished - Uria Deck help

I'm trying to decide on a final Uria Deck before I buy the cards. The price won't be a hindrance, I'm just looking for edits. So far from video game testing, the deck looks like this:

Monsters: 9 Uria Lord of Searing Flames x2 Big Eye x2 Solar Flare Dragon x3 Sangan x1 Morphing Jar x1

Spells: 9 Gold Sarcophagus x2 Card Destruction x1 Magic Planter x3 Mystical Space Typhoon x2 Emergency Provisions x1

Traps: 22 Backfire x3 Anti-Spell Fragrance x3 Gravity Bind x1 Dimensional Prison x2 Bottomless Trap Hole x2 Mirror Force x1 Magic Cylinder x1 Interdimensional Matter Transporter x1 Metal Reflect Slime x3 Embodiment of Apophis x2 Imperial Custom x2 Torrential Tribute x1 173.187.66.109 (talk) 19:12, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

Ok, I have an account now. ReagaReaga (talkcontribs) 00:27, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

This might work for ya.

Thanks, I see it mostly follows my idea while improving the stall game and allowing me to get more Traps in the Graveyard. I'm assuming that UFO Turtle is for the SFDs, but can Monster Reborn bring back a dead Uria? I suppose it's for the case where Morphing Jar discards any other monster.

The only thing I'd probably still change is Solemn Judgement. I know it's for cases like Jinzo, but I find it hard to be comfortable sacrificing half my LP.

Uria, Lord of Searing Flames is Nomi so can't be Monster Reborn, but MR can bring back foes monsters & is just genrally a good Staple.-Resk ✩ (Talk) 01:18, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, I forgot about that part. I am fairly certain I'll use this deck, w/ little feeling of ripping off since most of it is still my design. I will probably replace Solemn Judgement with Tribe Infecting Virus since it still kills Jinzo and puts more Traps in my graveyard, but I'll keep Solemn in mind if I find that strategy not working.

Thanks alot, Dark Ace.Reaga (talkcontribs) 01:23, May 29, 2011 (UTC) And I didn't know Tribe-Infecting Virus got banned. Wow. Solemn it is. Guess I should've trusted you.Reaga (talkcontribs) 02:13, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

I threw in the MR for foes monsters and other, not Uria. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 02:28, May 29, 2011 (UTC) Yeah the other guy pointed that out to me. I'd been using Call of the Haunted for so long I forgot Monster Reborn could affect the enemy.

Finished - RFP Psychics

Hello, I would like a deck that has the capability to Synchro summon Overmind Archfiend and Fusion summon Ultimate Axon Kicker, but the deck also has to be competitive. I have no money limit, and I would like to request that Resk build my deck. Thank You. --NutterHead (talkcontribs) 21:53, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

I -think- this should work, I ran out of money so haven't really had a chance to physically try out the psychics, but this looks like it it'll combo, based off an old deck i made with leolightman, & what i've been playing about with, with nobody

Mind Master + Another Psychic = Swarm (with cleric, and with Wizard/Genetic)

Spy + Flip Spy + Trib for Overdrive Teleporter = Arcanite Magician + Hyper Psychic Blaster + ability to use Miracle Synchro Fusion on either target.

Rest should be fairly simple,

How's that?-Resk ✩ (Talk) 23:58, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

well heres my current build, let me know what you think

Deck

Monster Cards

20

  • 3 Scrap Chimera
  • 3 Scrap Beast
  • 2 Scrap Goblin
  • 1 Scrap Golem
  • 1 Level Eater
  • 1 Summoner Monk
  • 1 Spirit Reaper
  • 3 Reborn Tengus
  • 2 Meklord Emperor Granel
  • 1 Cyber Dragon
  • 1 Morphing Jar
  • 1 Scrap Orthros

Spell Cards

13

  • 2 Mystical Space Typhoon
  • 2 Scrap Yard
  • 3 Scrapstorm
  • 1 Monster Reborn
  • 1 Giant Trunade
  • 1 Forbidden Lance
  • 1 Scapegoat
  • 1 Pot of Avarice
  • 1 Mind Control

Trap Cards

9

  • 2 Fiendish Chain
  • 2 Compulsory Evacuation Device
  • 1 Mirror Force
  • 1 Gravity Bind
  • 1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
  • 1 Royal Decree
  • 1 Call of the Haunted

If I may, I'd like to suggest a few things (I have a lot of experience with using Winning Scrap decks). Use three Orthros and three Goblin (Goblin is an amazingly useful card). Scrap Searcher is a good card but it's almost always just not worth using. I'm not sure about Glow-Up Bulb or Tengu, but I use three Wisel and a Granel in Scrap decks. You should have at least two Scrap Archfiends because you'll run out of Scrap Dragons eventually. Pot of Avarice will just hurt the deck so you shouldn't use it.BobaFett2 (talk)

3 goblins? how does that work out? and im not sure about 3 orthros. i dont like running 2 i think its a tad inconsistent if you dont have a scrap monster face up. and yeah searcher is grabage. i use 2 granels, i dont like wisels "no other monster can attack" effect. and i recycle my dragons so much, or i usually go into twin, ive never run out of dragons. Guns1809 (talkcontribs) 01:22, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

I've used a Scrap deck with three Orthros and it works. Scrap Goblin is amazing-not only can it not be destroyed by battle, it's effect destroys itself, allowing you to add Scrap Chimera or another monster to your hand after it protects you. Wisel may not let other monsters attack, but it negates Spells-that's worth the price when you can get out Scrap Dragon and get rid of your opponent's traps and monsters.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - Fresh Start

So, I'm new to this whole forum thing, but I've been working with the same deck for a while (four years) now, just a random hodge-podge of cards with no real theme or strategy. I'm just a casual player, no intentions of tournaments or anything like that, just have occasional duels with friends. That aside, I realise I'd like a deck with a bit more coherence to it, I don't have any specific requests except I want it to be Dark Magician based, with a few zombie cards. I know Spellcasters and zombies don't really mix, but I can make it work. I'm looking for a combination of burn and control, something that's good for most situations. The only cards I'm intent on having in it are

It'd be nice to keep it under $100, with around 45 cards, possibly a fifteen card side deck if it fits in the budget. Thanks so much! (and I'm sorry if this isn't done correctly, first post and all :x ) -in turret voice- is anyone there? or am i just being impatient? thekillout (talkcontribs) 21:31, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

People are here, just your request is strange :p, I could easily give you a Dark Magician based deck if you want that instead :3-Resk ✩ (Talk) 01:26, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
Sadly this is kinda over $100, really wasn't an effective way to meet demands. But you could drop both prisma for 2 more Armageddon Knight, and drop the Extra Deck, but the Prisma have more ATK and are a little more likely to survive a few turns.

--Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:56, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Use Prisma(That's why Dark Flare Knight id there) and Armageddon Knight to toss Dark Magician in the grave. Then Use Book of Life and Mezuki to bring him back, just remember to play Zombie World first. Other than than the Zombies are pretty staple. And some of the cards you wanted, were better replaced with the ones provided. The total cost is around $100-$108. I hope that isn't a major problem. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:36, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Lookin' to have a Wicked God/Evil Hero Lockdown deck

I was wondering if I could get someone to make me a Lockdown deck that combines the Wicked Gods and Evil Heroes? I'd like to be able to get all three of the Wicked Gods out ideally, and I noticed in the Wicked Gods article that a decent amount of Evil Heroes are mentioned under Suggested Cards. Money is not an issue, and if the Deckbuilder thinks that any kind of Fusion and/or Synchro monsters would be helpful then by all means add them. (I say that because in the Wicked Gods article it doesnt mention Fusion/Synchro monsters). Thanks in advance to whoever takes up this request. --YuutoKujo (talkcontribs) 23:16, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure how you could get a Lockdown deck, but I'll do this one.BobaFett2 (talk)

If it comes to a point where it looks like a Lockdown isnt possible, then build it whatever way you like I suppose. I'm not a tournament player, I play traditionally with friends of mine if that helps any. What are the viable deck types given the the archetypes in question? Or are they kind of at opposite ends of the spectrum so to speak? Also, I would like a Gorz The Emmisary of Darkness, two tops, as a back up plan. --YuutoKujo (talkcontribs) 23:38, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Ah, my bad. Looks like I need to get up to date, hah. Thanks for telling me. --YuutoKujo (talkcontribs) 23:50, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

This is a version of the Dark Gaia OTK, using The Wicked Dreadroot instead of Raviel and Big Piece Golem instead of Valkyrion. This may or may not work well, so I'd suggest using Duelingnetwork.com to test it (or if you want I can test it for you).BobaFett2 (talk)

I'm not familiar with the duelingnetwork.com, so if its not too much of a problem, would you be able to test it? --YuutoKujo (talkcontribs) 02:16, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Pride of the Underdog

I was thinking, would it be possible to make a deck loaded with weak vanilla monsters but well equipped with cards like justi-break and others? You know, like weak cards destroying huge decks? I think that would be pretty cool.

Also, I don't mean a vanilla beatdown loaded with high attack vanilla monsters, but weak, level 3 or lower push aways monsters you'd never expect to win (like Pette Dragon, Ojama Yellow, and Gigabyte). NotARealUsername (talkcontribs) 03:08, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

Ah. I made a Vanilla Wave-Motion deck a while ago (Level 2 or lower Normal Monsters with Human-Wave Motion + defense cards) and used Tribute Monsters (Obelisk and Barbaros) for them. Equipping them with spells is too risky (The best is Atlantean Pikeman + Amulet of Ambition) because they'll die too easily, but with tribute monsters the deck is a lot more powerful.BobaFett2 (talk)

I don't suppose the "5 Star normals" deck in Archive 8 suits you?-Resk ✩ (Talk) 01:16, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
  • Nah, I mean low level normal monsters. mostly around levels 1-3. But thanks for asking. NotARealUsername (talkcontribs) 04:15, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

K, so defense is crucial to this deck, so traps help with that. Heat Wave and Level Limit and Gravity help. Attack of the Cornered Rat helps to destroy enemy monsters. Equip spells power up like crazy. Most Normals have high DEF or somewhat high ATK. The Emissary help with search and negating damage. Draw Power is important. Just use the monsters + Equip spells + Cornered Rat = Opponent's miserable. You can also drop i each of the Emissary for 2 Beast King Barbaros.

So, how's that?

Finished - A Shooting Quasar Deck

ok, so Shooting Quasar is becoming quite popular, and i wanna make a deck out of it. I think Fish decks are the most common in summoning Quasar, so could you make me a Fish Quasar Deck? Please EXPLAIN to me on HOW to summon quasar with coelacanth. i have no money limit, give me tips also. Thank You! 33royward (talkcontribs) 15:16, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

Alright, I'll take this. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:38, June 3, 2011 (UTC)
Use the Frog Engine to summon Coelacanth. Use Coelacanth's effect to special summon 1 Fishborg Blaster and 3 Oyster Meister. So, now your field has :
Coelacanth/Borg/Oyster x3.
Synchro summon Stardust by using Coelacanth + Borg. Take note that you must use Borg's effect multiple times. So, now your field looks like this
Dust/Oyster/Oyster/Oyster.
Then use Borg's effect to SS him from the grave. Now Borg + Oyster = Arm. Equip Arm to Stardust. Now your field looks like this:
Dust/Arm/Oy/Oy/Token.
Then use Borg effect again. Then Synchro for Formula:
Dust/Arm/Oy/Oy/Form.
Synchro summon T.G. Hyper Librarian, so now field looks like this:
Dust/Arm/Oy/Libra/Token/Borg.
Borg + Token = Formula, so now field is:
Dust/Arm/Oy/Libra/Formula, then field is:
Dust/Arm/Libra/Libra/Token
then field is:
Dust/Arm/Libra/Libra/Token/Borg
then:
Dust/Arm/Libra/Libra/Formula
then
Dust/Arm/Quasar.
So, how's that? Also if the poster has any questions please ask. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 14:53, June 3, 2011 (UTC)
Also, instead of summoning Stardust Dragon the first time, you can go into the Colossal Arms OTK with CF-Resk ✩ (Talk) 15:13, June 3, 2011 (UTC)

And no Solemn Judgment, Solemn Warning, or Pot of Duality, please.

GigaDager (talkcontribs) 04:40, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

The deck has ample opportunities to send King of the Skull Servants and it's other cards to your graveyard, allowing you to get a powered-up King of the Skull Servants in a few turns. Use Trap Stun to get an OTK. Dark World Lightning and Mystical Space Typhoon allow you to clear up your opponent's backrow as well.BobaFett2 (talk)

Thank you so much for your help! But I was also wondering, by any chance, if it's possible to play this as a Dark World deck also? Sorry for putting a lot on your plate. I'm aware that you guys are too busy to bother with this all the time.

Finished - Spider Steal Deck

Hi, earlier on this forum I made a request for a spider deck that worked quite well, however I wish to make a slight alteration to that; I am looking for a deck based on stealing opponents cards and using them to my advantage using insects like Earthbound Immortal Uru, Insect Queen and Underground Arachnid, with possibly the Ultimate Insect set on the side. I want it to be built using the insect cards mainly. Thanks Duelerman (talkcontribs) 15:05, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

Suggestion for whoever takes this: Use Mother Spider.BobaFett2 (talk)

I don't see how that would work as mother spider is built on the battle position aspect of the spider archetype rather than steal so I'm not sure how it would fit in Duelerman (talkcontribs) 20:53, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

Use Spiders to switch their battle position and tribute them for Mother Spider. There just isn't that much "stealing" power in today's game so that's just about as close as you can get.BobaFett2 (talk)

An idea I had was to create tokens for tributing to activate the steal effect of cards like Uru and Spider queen, and things like Pinch Hopper to get them out in the first place. Does that help Duelerman (talkcontribs) 12:48, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

Insect Queen doesn't steal, if that's the card you are talking about.BobaFett2 (talk)

I know but its effect works really well if you tribute your opponents monstersDuelerman (talkcontribs) 14:52, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

How do you tribute your opponent's monsters?BobaFett2 (talk)

Here, made some edits and stuff, no tokens, but should be kinda defensive.

The best I could think of was letting Earthbound do the job. Since Spiders play around Position control it was difficult to create a Spider Steal deck, but the deck incorporates your wish to some extent. But Underground Arachnid could be the key to your stealing, easy to summon in this deck because of Mind Control and Infernity Beetle, or Beetle + 1 of your level 4 Spiders.

So, how's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:19, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

I played 5 games and in 3 my starting hand was pure magics and as i result I got wiped before getting anything down, less magics and more monsters please Duelerman (talkcontribs) 10:13, June 8, 2011 (UTC)

Removed some of the weaker spells, added more draw spells to make up for it, and changed monster line up slightly, as Infernity beetle is only good, if you don't understand hand advantage, while PSZ still fulfils condition to summon Arachnid.-Resk ✩ (Talk) 12:30, June 8, 2011 (UTC)

Only 3 Neo-Spacians because those 3 have the best effects and fusions. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:30, June 7, 2011 (UTC)
Also, if you have any questions about any cards in this deck, please ask, like why they are there, etc. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:51, June 8, 2011 (UTC)

To be honest, I would not ever use Necroshade, Cross Porter, or Chrysalis monsters. They're very weak. You should use three O - Oversoul and/or some Terraforming. Also, Decree is never worth using unless at three.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - Trying to combine Incas with Armed Dragons

Well recently my school friends started playing Yu-Gi-Oh and I started hopping on board too. With some assistance from my friends I have managed to gather a bunch of Armed Dragon and Inca cards. I would love to be able to try to make a deck revolving around both types if possible. For my method of getting cards, I usually buy/trade with friends for getting them, so occasionally I might not be able to obtain some cards, or have to use some substitutes with them. This is all for fun. In case of anything, my email is [email protected] Thanks very much for helping x.x (edit: O and theres like an ongoing joke between my friends and I about how I must always put in Raging Flame Sprite in my deck even though there might be even no synergy. So I'll probably put that in too for fun) Zero3124n (talkcontribs) 01:06, June 9, 2011 (UTC)Zero3124n

I'll try, but I'm not sure if I can make Armed Dragons fit with Incas.BobaFett2 (talk)

I have yet to test this, but it focuses on Armed Dragon LV5 to make Inti/Quilla. I didn't include LV7 because I don't think that it will fit very well. Desert Twister can be Special Summoned by removing an Inca Tuner and just about any other card in the deck. It can get rid of Spells and Traps. Imperial Iron Wall completes the loop by preventing your monsters from being removed from play.BobaFett2 (talk)

Ty, I'll try this out, also trying to find some of the cards too lol, like Desert Twister x.x I only have 1 cyber dragon, so i was thinking of replacing the other with Oracle of the Sun possibly. Zero3124n (talkcontribs) 00:21, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Pure Machina if you don't mind.--Dr. Bob (talkcontribs) 23:37, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Pure Machina generally doesn't work because Machina Force is nearly useless-the only good ones are Peacekeeper, Gearframe, and Fortress.BobaFett2 (talk)

I often use Force as fodder for special summoning Fortress through Gearframe's effect, but I'll accept any Machina based deck.--Dr. Bob (talkcontribs) 00:22, June 11, 2011 (UTC)

K, so the Gadgets are useful for creating +1 advantage, the spells and traps are mostly to rid the field of enemy monsters so you can attack directly with Machina Fortress. Should be kinda self explanatory. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 02:15, June 11, 2011 (UTC)

I realize there are already multiple decks of this category in the archives, but I checked, and they're all fairly outdated, calling for proto-cyberdragons in quanities that can't fully be replaced w/cyber dragons. They also use cards that are now banned.

I like the basic idea of the ancient gear/cyber decks that are currently up, but if someone could tweak them to A) better match the current banned list, and B) (if possible without ruining the fluency of the deck) increase the deck's ability to combat things such as mirror force, etc.

A side deck would also be appreciated. No price limit, but please stay away from solemn warning if possible.

Link : Dark Magician Girl Deck

I had a look at the Deck but I don't really like Heroes to much, I was really hoping to focus on spell casters. I'd really like to get Magician's Valkyria in there because that is also a pretty cute card. I'd like to have a strong deck but I don't really whether or not it's a competitive deck.

BTW Thanks for taking your time to have a look =)

That's fine, but exactly why do you need Allure Queen LV3? And Remove Trap is not that great, so can I use Mystical Space Typhoon instead? Do you actually want to summon Dark Magician? Or just get him in grave for discarding effects like, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast? Need to make sure before I post up your deck. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 03:08, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

Some of the cards I ordered because they were cheap so I don't mind whether or not I use them (allure queen was 12p and Remove trap was 10p), so as long as I'm using spellcasters just do what you think is best. As for the Dark magician thing I don't really know, I don't know about the strategies and stuff I only started playing like two days ago. The cards in the list are just ones I have or are already in the post just to give an Idea what cards I have so they don't even have to be used in the deck, if that's any help?

OK, so Apprentice Magician helps create tributes for Girl, Defender helps protect monsters for tributes later. Breaker is just a sweet attacking Mystical Space Typhoon. Copycat will let you survive a little longer if your opponent throws out a big monster. The spells provide excessive draw and special summoning ability, so you can Special Summon Girl and Dark. Rest are just staples.

So, how's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:31, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

Could you make a Morphtronics deck that doesn't rely too much on Synchros? I'd like to play with Morphtronics but I don't have the cash for the build back in the archives. Thanks! EmceeHuge (talkcontribs) 12:20, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

I'll take this. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:48, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Need to have Morphtronic Boarden, Boomboxen, and Radion on the field for the OTK, plus any card that gets out another monster like, Junk Box or power them up, with C&D. The deck's packed with protection. Used Ebay for prices, only from Top-Rated sellers. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:39, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
So, how's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:36, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
You could also test the deck out on DuelingNetwork.com (Google it). Free and no download. I use it a lot. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:46, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

I just tested it and it works great! I did notice the actual card count is 42 though. Did you mean for it to have that many? Thanks again! EmceeHuge (talkcontribs) 15:04, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, but its not relly an OTK then, so if you want drop 1 Roar and 1 Double Tool. Should still function properly. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:09, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - NATURIA DECK

hey you guys. i tested out the scrap deck you guys built and it is amazing! i saw a few naturia decks that i liked, but none in the archives. so this is what im looking for. i like running triple fruitfly and triple burden of the mighty and triple king tiger wenghu. its so much fun when they cant set up their combos. so with the exception of king tiger, can you guys make me a purely naturia deck? the only stipulation is no cards over 50 dollars. bear in mind that synchros are optional. there arent a lot of 1400 or higher tuners. thanks you guys! Guns1809 (talkcontribs) 19:17, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

There's a huge problem-Naturia Fruitfly can't exist while King Tiger is out unless it was Flip Summoned (and that's a huge hassle) or you have triple Solidarity (which brings up other issues). I could make a deck or a Wanghu based deck but a combination would kill itself.BobaFett2 (talk)

if hes already out on the field and then you bring out tiger isnt that a way around it? but rather i just want a good solid naturia lockdown deck, purely nauria.

Ah. Never mind (just checked ruling). I'll make you a Naturia lockdown.BobaFett2 (talk)

To be honest, I couldn't really get anything good together within 50 dollars so this is a bit above 50.

As for the last three cards, you need a card to negate monster effects-If you have/can get them, try Effect Veiler or Forbidden Chalice. Also, Solemn Judgment will be easier to get soon, so I'd suggest you get it.BobaFett2 (talk)

haha ok maybe i miscommunicated. i meant each individual card shouldnt be above fifty dollars. like dualitys or warnings. well maybe warning. but the budget for the deck in general should be between 250-300 lol sorry about that

Improved a bit to reflect upon greater budget.BobaFett2 (talk)

ok ive been testing it out and i feel like if they get a big beater on the field i dont really have anything to contend with it.

On Duelingnetwork people usually use Safe Zone but that's not out yet...try Smashing Ground.BobaFett2 (talk)

well it is out. came out in exvc. so ill try it. but i think smashing is better.

Oh, I was under the impression that it was from Generation Force.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - vylons

would somebody please help me put together a vylon deck. I would apreciate it if someone could make one that is rather fast. thank you. Dereks33 (talkcontribs) 21:23, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Frognarch

I'm sure there's one in the archives, but i didn't find it; either way, I'm looking for a build that uses forumula synchron as a draw engine/tuner, and then has lvl 8 synchros. I know the idea for the build, just not all the cards and things this is what i'm looking at atm (obviously it's incomplete)

No budget, so the sky's the limit, or whatever catchy phrase you prefer. I'm not at all sure about how many of each card should go in here, but most of the cards listed I do want to keep in the deck; on the other hand if you feel a card shouldn't go, then let it be gone. thanks a lot in advance. Bcfblack (talkcontribs) 19:06, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

I'm trying out Resk's version, and I'm really liking it, and I'm sure BobaFett2's recipe will come in handy if I decide I'm unhappy with something. thanks you guys! Bcfblack (talkcontribs) 21:51, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Darklord Help

Asmodeus works a lot better than it would seem-it works like a Dark Grepher as well as giving lots of advantage and you can just remove him for Chaos Sorcerer. I'd like to use The Dark Creator although I'm not sure if that's possible. My favorite combo here is to bring back Superbia, then bring back Athena, then tribute Superbia to bring back Superbia and get another monster, and so forth. The deck seems like it could be good but it lacks consistency.BobaFett2 (talk)

I'll try to help you Boba. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 00:51, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

How about this? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 02:16, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

Haven't tested it though. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:23, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

Erm-why two of the Darklords and Athena-and no Hecatrice? That's the most reliable way to search for Valhalla, the key card of the deck.BobaFett2 (talk)

Oh, sorry about that. I had a some plans today, so sorry for the late reply, but yeah go ahead and throw in a couple of Hecatrice, and take out what you think is appropriate. XD. Actually already made the edits to deck. Try it out, I guess. See how it runs. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 02:14, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
You can also drop 1 Dark World Dealings for one more Hecatrice. Still thins out the deck + a 1500 beatstick. Or keep the build as is. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 04:02, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Another Request for Tiger Stun Help

Yeah, it's me again, back for another go-around with my Tiger Stun deck. Right now, the deck I have is working well for me, but I'm wanting to more customize it, or try a new version of the deck. I've been tossing around some ideas, so pick one that seems like it would be the most viable, and let me know how it would work:

1. Wanghu Paragon: A deck idea that I came across while googling Wanghu/By Order of the Emperor combos, the idea is that you can negate Aurora Paragon's self-destruction with BOotE. It sounds good, but I can't seem to wrap my brain around how to get it to work.
2. Wanghu Beacon: A deck my roommate suggested the last time we were at a tournament, mainly in response to someone's offer to let us take his vast collection of Unicorn Beacons off his hands. I can definitely see it working, especially since I'm already removing monsters for use with Beast Rising, but the problem is there's not really any good Beast-type monsters I can use for Beacon. I know it can bring back Winged Beasts, but Beast Rising can't use Winged Beasts. Then again, Dimensional Fissure is sort of a mainstay in Wanghu Stun decks.
3. Wanghu Sphinx/Wanghu Moja: These two decks are similar; the big monster, instead of Barbaros, would be one of the Sphinxes or King of the Beasts, respectively. The problem is that the general strategy of a Stun deck could interfere with the summoning of the big monsters.
4. Wanghu Phantom Beast/Wanghu Akz, the Pumer: I've really been interested in building a deck around the Phantom Beasts/Akz the Pumer for a while, but I've been a bit stuck on how to do that, especially with Wanghu stun strategies.
5. Wanghu Nordic: This idea started when I was trying to find substitutes to your typical Stun staples, and discovered Garmr of the Nordic Beasts as an acceptable replacement for Legendary Jujitsu Master (one of the staples in a lower-quality Stun deck). From there, I liked the idea of using Thor, Lord of the Aesir and its monster-negating effect. Again, though, Synchros aren't usually typical of a Stun deck, so I'm not exactly sure how it would work.

When picking which deck to work with me on, please keep these things in mind:

1. I'm not rich, so the main staples for Stun like Descaliber Knight, Thunder King Rai-oh, etc. are out of my reach. I have no qualms with finding substitutes, and in fact would like to hear of any acceptable replacements. Cards that I do have include Enemy Controller, Mirror Wall, Sakuretsu Armor, Bottomless Trap Hole, Dimensional Fissure, and Divine Wrath. I do have Royal Oppression, as well.
2. Unless it's the Nordic build, Synchros are more than likely a no-no; as I said, they're not usually typical of a Stun deck, and as I said, I'm not that rich, so a lot of the big-name Synchros were out of my reach.
3. On that note, Xyz Monsters are acceptable, so go right ahead and suggest away.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 22:50, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

This should work for you, i think:
Any questions, just ask-Resk () 16:05, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
Forgot SRR was beasts only <,<-Resk () 16:43, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
Well, it looks good, very similar to how I'd build a Phantom Beast Wanghu deck, and I'm definitely looking into Steelswarm Roach as side deck material, but I'm not sure if it's right. I'll give it a try, but in the meantime, mind giving me some ideas for a build with Paragon or Beacon? Those are the two I feel most strongly would be the most benefit for me. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 02:34, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Maybe?-Resk () 02:37, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Eh, a little too "elitist" for my taste (mainly with the Breakers, Grand Mole, and D.D. Warrior Lady). I do like how you're wanting me to try Safe Zone; I've heard from someone else that it's a good "anti-meta" card.
Yeah, I don't think Paragon Wanghu is for me. How about Dimensional Beacon Wanghu? That's the deck my roommate suggested, and I think it has potential. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 22:15, June 20, 2011 (UTC)
Trouble with Beacon is that you have no combo targets, at best, you're just going to recycle a monster for a -1, which you could do with less effort using Monster Reincarnation, while D-Wanghu requires too many 'elite' cards such as Banisher of Radiance for it to work properly :3-Resk () 22:25, June 20, 2011 (UTC)
You sure? I've got Beast Rising that I can use with it, and there's gotta be some Beasts that have RFP effects (D.D. Crazy Beast and Dark Desertapir, at least). There's gotta be SOMETHING you can whip up for this deck, right? SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 01:12, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
Trouble with Tapir is that it always misses the timing unless you're using Gold Sarcophagus or Necroface, while Crazy is basicly just a small monster that wants to be Dimensional Fissure, I'll see if i can mod that voltic bicorn deck for you though-Resk () 11:26, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
Remember, though, I do have Beast Rising for ATK gains, and there's other cards out there for ATK gains, too, that would work with a RFP beast deck (like Beast Rage). The way I see it, it would simply be a matter of modifying a traditional Wanghu Dimensional Fissure stun into a more beast-oriented one, with Beacon as the ace card.
If you're still insistent that it won't work, how about this as an alternative; since I have so many Normal monsters in my original deck, what would you suggest for a Wanghu Stun deck based around Heat Wave? Before the big revamp, I had a lot of Normal Monster support in it for those Normal Monsters, and I was thinking of using Heat Wave in it before the revamp.
Also, something completely different, Prime Material Falcon: good idea for a side deck card or no, for this kind of deck? SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 13:24, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Updated Gravekeeper's

Hello, I just signed up, so please excuse any errors of mine. I was hoping for a Gravekeeper's deck. I played a lot several years back when GK first came out, and I loved them. And since I'm starting to play again, I was hoping to be able to use them again, as I've heard they got more support. As for actual deck strategy, I'm not picky. My old deck was a mix of high power and burn cards. I'd like a bit more field control in this deck if possible. As for money to spend, I can probably get away with spending $250 or so. If needed I can push $300 out.

Sidenote: I did look in the archives and saw a GK deck, however it seemed outdated, perhaps I'm wrong. I've heard a lot of talk of the recruiter and priestess, and since that deck lacked both, I assumed it was outdated.

Feel free to contact at [email protected], please allow 24 hours for response. Mrcarter11 (talkcontribs) 09:07, June 16, 2011 (UTC)

I'll do this one. I'll do a standard GK deck unless you want to use Synchro monsters.BobaFett2 (talk)

Standard would work fine for me.. Only other thoughts, would be that of course, I'd like it to be able to compete against competitively, but I figure almost every deck built here is, so that goes without saying.. I'm not a huge fan of Syncho monsters, but you can add them if you wish.. I don't mind the Xyz stuff, since you just fill your Extra deck and then use them when you wish. In the end, I'd just like to be a competitive and flexible deck. Mrcarter11 (talkcontribs) 09:36, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Since I'm new, I'm not sure how long this normally takes, but I was just wondering if Boba was still doing this, I haven't heard anything for two days.. Figured I'd ask. Mrcarter11 (talkcontribs) 10:26, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I thought I had posted it.

If you have any Pot of Duality they'd be worth adding. The two Synchro Monsters aren't strictly necessary but they are possibilities-if you have a Trishula, you could add that too. Chimeratech Overdragon allows you to get rid of Cyber Dragon and other Machines your opponent controls (in case they leave a Cyber Dragon and a Gadget or Karakuri on their side of the field). The strategy is pretty standard for Gravekeeper's.BobaFett2 (talk)

Alright thanks. The deck looks clean and good. My only worry would be a lack of offense ability, but I appreciate your work on it. Thanks again. Mrcarter11 (talkcontribs) 08:36, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

I'm hoping that BF2 sees this.. But I was wondering what the purpose of the two malefic cards were, as I don't have the cards needed to summon them in my extra deck?

Finished - legenderay six samurai

I saw one of these in the archives, but it uses cards that are limited now, and it's not exactly what i'm looking for.

I want a fast (as most are...) legendary six samurai deck, with a focus on getting shi en and great shogun shien on the field to completely lock the opponent's spell and trap usage. if it fits in, some monster effect negating would be cool for a total lockdown concept, but it's not necessary.

thanks Serendipitous42 (talkcontribs) 16:08, June 16, 2011 (UTC)

I'll do this one. Pretty standard build. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 16:17, June 16, 2011 (UTC)

uhh... no, thanks for pointing that out xD umm.. I guess that doesn't matter then... shien is still a good beatstick but eh... nonetheless, I think the one in the archives is pretty outdated... i usually see kagemaru in 6 samurai decks now, and it's not in there, but just do whatever you feel is best. The Watt monsters can attack directly, because of Wattkey. The Recycling Batteries help to reuse most monsters in the deck. Rest are just staples or just useful for the deck. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:22, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - anti-meta

I know there's always an updated version of this as the metagame keeps changing... but I find myself again annoyed by today's metagame, and would like to combat it. seeing as it's so thoroughly dominated by synchros, that seems like a good place to put the emphasize against. other than that, I just want to be able to combat current metagame threats. thanks Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 04:24, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

This, This, or This should work for you

There are actually 10 traps in the above list... not 7. which means the deck is 41 cards; i don't know if that will effect it's performance, but i'm just noticing. Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 00:52, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

-Resk () 21:02, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

I'll start testing these on duelingnetwork. I like the look of the first deck, but i'm not totally sure how it's "anti-meta" in any event, I'll tell you what I think when i've tested. thanks, you guys Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 00:52, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

It's anti-meta due to the control given by spark/blast/honest/veiler, as well as consistancy granted by heros-Resk () 02:31, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

The worm deck usually destroys if the opponent doesn't run royal, and I draw nebula within the first several turns. Otherwise it can stall for a while before losing, but it's inevitable. the dualities help w/ getting nebula, but it's still not super consistant. I'd also like a confirmation that the E-hero deck is supposed to be 41 cards, and wouldn't be better with a card removed.

I haven't tried the empty cosmos yet, but it looks interesting. idk exactly what can be done about worm's slight consistancy problem, but it's still a fun deck as it is Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 18:17, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Hero can probably drop a CyDra or a snowman & be fine, For worms... i'm not sure what can be changed in it really...
The empty cosmo deck is probably better without the ill omens/masks, & just stick in some bansishers/reapers/anti-meta mon's :p
-Resk () 18:27, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

I feel like taking out a snowman would lower its anti-meta...ness.. not to mention lower the number of water monsters to have available for absolute zero... i'll try it at 2 CyDra. I've also been wondering if there's room for a super poly in there, cuz it fits into the deck type very well.. gets rid of one of their monsters, but can't be negated by things that stop destruction, and summons something strong. just a thought. I'll get around to testing cosmos sometime this weekend, and I'll be sure to note yoru suggestions Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 00:55, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Super poly isn't really worth maining till we get all 6 elements of them in TCG

Finished - Lookin for a Dragon support deck

Hello again. Today I'm looking for a Dragon deck that can support my bro's Dark Paladin (and perhaps get it out faster too). I would really only use this deck when I tag with my bro, but Id like for the deck to still be able to hold its own if it came down to the Dark Paladin being destroyed or something like that. I'd like to keep Fusion/Synchros to a minimum, only ones that would be extremely helpful. The deck doesnt have to be exclusively Dragons either, some Warriors and Spellcasters would be alright to have if they do a better job than a Dragon type with a similar effect, know what I mean? But I'd like to keep the Types to just those three. Also, money isnt an object.

If it helps with creating the deck, the idea for building the (requested) deck came from both the Rise of the Dragon Lords structure deck and using DNA Surgery to change the attributes to Dragon and use King Dragun paired with Metalsilver Armor (and buffing his ATK/DEF up with an equip card or two) as a defensive line. I'd like to keep the latter intact as much as possible, or even make it better if you can.

Here's my bro's deck so whoever takes this knows what to build around. Mind you, theres no real direction to his deck. The only focus it has is getting Dark Paladin out, and that plan isnt supported (in his deck) all that well.

I'm also aware that there are cards/amounts of cards that are Forbidden/Limited/Semi-Limited, but we only duel with eachother and some of our friends, no legit tournaments or anything. --YuutoKujo (talkcontribs) 20:49, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

You can test this on Duelingnetwork.com. Unfortunately, there isn't a good way to Fusion Summon Dark Paladin (since Polymerization is a bad card in itself) but this deck could work in casual duels.BobaFett2 (talk)

So, how's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 21:17, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

I would highly suggest using 3 Dimensional Prison as well as Solemn Judgment and two Solemn Warning. Also, Future Fusion and Five-Headed Dragon would be great additions. I would also suggest a T.G. Hyper Librarian.BobaFett2 (talk)

To poster: I have edited the deck to fit some of BobaFett2's suggestions. To Boba: their are only 5 dragons in the main deck. I think it would be too risky to put in the Future Fusion and FHD. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 21:48, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

I fear that with only 13 monsters i would end up with a dead hand alot. Also another thing. What about adding red eyes dark metal dragon --Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 23:53, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think the REDMD is a good idea. The Dragon Ravine and Terraforming should help you search out quickly, and the Cards of Consonance should help with draw power. But why don't you play test the deck online at Dueling Network.com (Google it) It's free and no download. [Network Tutorial Video]. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 00:03, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

you were right for the most part ravine is used for searching. I did modify it a little bit but kept it mostly the same. I have tried it out and so far i always get either a ravine or terraforming the 1st turn. Good deck. =)--Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 02:00, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Hey. So I know I said I would get the cards overtime and I will but I was wondering if you could make a dragunity deck that doesn't use synchros. I know that might be hard, but I just want a deck that I could use to duel my friends for now until I get all the cards for the Ultimate dragunity deck. Thank you.--Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 17:34, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

There is a Dragunity Deck in archive 8 that doesn't use synchs. Check that one. Should be under a harpie deck. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 19:07, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Dark world deck

Hey can you build me a dark world deck. I have one but 1. I don't know how to create the table thing. and 2. Its not that good. I don't have enough cards that help me discard. I always end up with either too many monsters that I cant summon in my hand or too many magic and traps. Also I know that the new dark world structure deck is coming out in japan and will come to America soon so you can also include those cards as well. Thank you.

I'll do this one.BobaFett2 (talk)

If you have no budget, you can replace Solemn Warning with Bottomless Trap Hole and Dimensional Prison with Sakuretsu Armor but the other cards (excluding Synchro Monsters) aren't really replaceable. The Synchro Monsters are unneeded but they should help make the deck more consistent.BobaFett2 (talk)

so i tried the deck out on that website and it still doesnt swarm out fast enough. it needs more discard cards. maybe card destruction and depth amulet?--Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 00:43, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

It should have enough (1/4 of the cards discard and you get three searchers plus six draw cards). I suppose Card Destruction and Morphing Jar would help but Depth Amulet is too slow.BobaFett2 (talk)

I'll keep testing it. But I keep ending up with dead draws. I want a deck that is more consistent and not based solely on luck. --Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 01:24, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Here are the main two issues I'm having. Either I end up with all my discard cards in my hand and nothing to discard and summon or I end up with all my high level monsters and no way to summon them. There have only been a handful of times that the deck has worked like its suppose to. --Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 01:34, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Try that,-Resk () 01:46, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you Resk, I've tried out this version and so far it is working better. Bobba your deck is good as well it just relies a lot on the luck of the draw. Thank you guys for your time. --Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 03:17, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I had forgotten about Card Destruction and Morphing Jar.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - Spell Counter Deck

Hey guys can u make a deck that revolves around spell counters and there effects. Like the new spellcaster's command structure deck. No limit on price. Thank you. --Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 06:36, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

This deck uses Magical Citadel of Endymion to store Spell Counters for the effects of Arcanite Magician, Breaker, Magical Exemplar, and other cards. Anti-Spell negates Spell Cards that could hurt you while the other Trap Cards are standard. Alchemist of Black Spells gives Spell Counters to use for effects. The Synchro Monsters allow for you to Synchro Summon (using Geomancer) and you can Synchro Summon Trishula. You can also Synchro Summon both Arcanite Magician and Tempest Magician.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - Blackwing Deck

Hey. I do know there are a couple of blackwing decks on this site already. But none that are up to date with the ban list. So I was wondering if you could make a black wing deck. I have most of the cards so price really isnt an issue if I have to get a couple cards here and there. Thank you. --Tensa-Zangetsu23 (talkcontribs) 00:53, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

I'll do this one. If the other deckbuilders are making this deck they can just post their version up as well. And if the other deckbuilders see a problem, feel free to edit deck. and make a post to requester about it. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 17:14, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

--Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 19:04, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

-Dark Armed Dragon as every monster in the deck is DARK, +Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North since it makes Armed Wing. +Vortex the Whirlwind since you can make that with Vayu + Shura, + Thought Ruler Archfiend, Colossal Fighter, T.G. Hyper Librarian, and Ally of Justice Catastor because there's room for them.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - Chaos Worm Anti-Meta V. Resk?

Hello, again, guys, thank you for helping me out last time, but now I was wondering if you could assist me again.

I have a mostly finished Worm anti-meta deck based off of Resk's decklist from earlier on this page, and since I have a few Chaos Sorcerers, Dark Armed Dragons, and the like lying around, I was wondering if it is possible to convert it into a Chaos deck? Thanks in advanced.

Oh, and as always, no Pot of Dualities or Solemn Warnings. If possible, please include a Gorz.

Finished - Lockdown

Hi, i would like to request a lockdown deck if possible, i have some cards i would like to be in it, i have Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 (and Lv6) and Jinzo and Jinzo - Lord, i am able to get the equip card for jinzo off a friend, i would like the deck to try and get horus lv 8 and jinzo out as fast as possible, money is not an issue here. thanks Lenku (talkcontribs) 23:06, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

I'll try this. User:Bobafett2/sig2

Thanks very much Lenku (talkcontribs) 13:42, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

I have yet to test this but this is the basic idea. What do you think of it?BobaFett2 (talk)

yeah i like it, but doesnt Chimeratech Fortress Dragon need Cyber Dragon as a Fusion Material? Lenku (talkcontribs) 12:14, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

It's just a tech card for in case of the -opponent- having a cyber dragon so you can steal it.-Resk () 12:35, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Ah ok, any suggestions for what the 40th card should be? by my count it adds up to 39 (15 spells not 14) i was thinking of something like Shield Crush or something along those lines Lenku (talkcontribs) 13:02, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Maybe just a Solemn Judgment or a Pot of Duality -Resk () 13:07, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Harpie Anti-Meta

I made a Harpie Anti-Meta deck that can beat a lot of meta decks. It combines Mist Valley and Harpies but something just isn't working. Sometimes I don't get any monsters. I've used this deck many, many times and it's pretty good, even with two Field Spells. Any help is welcome.

BobaFett2 (talk)

I realize that I am not a deck editor, but not drawing enough monsters I would attribute to the deck having a lot of cards. the chance of a no-monster first hand is about 7%, and a 1 or less monster first hand is over 30%; that's definitely big enough to notice a problem. dropping the deck to 40 cards (but not taking out any monsters) would get that number down to 25%, and the chance of drawing no monsters goes to under 5%. if you could add one monster but still wind up at 40 cards, your chance of 1 or less monsters is barely 20%, (none is less than 4%) which is probably good enough to win most matches if the deck stays as good as it seems to be. you could always add more draw power (upstart, etc.) but if the inconsistancy problem lies in getting the monsters you need, you need to increase the percentage of cards in your deck that lead to monsters. I don't see any obvious cards to remove, but maybe an icarus or swallow's nest, since they'd be dead draw's anwyay if you wound up low on monsters. possibly dimensional prison, solidarity, or HHG, since you already have a lot of each, but they're all pretty integral to the deck, so it's a tough call. Maybe it's obvious, but that's the advice i have. Serendipitous42 (talkcontribs) 01:16, June 22, 2011 (UTC)

I want to get down to 40 cards but I'm not sure what would be best to take out. And I always use three Dimensional Prisons because it's absolutely amazing.BobaFett2 (talk)

best I can come up with, keeping that in mind, is

-1 Icarus attack -1 swallow's nest -1 call -1 solidarity/Harpy Hunting ground

trouble is, all the cards are incredibly useful, so anything is going to effect the way the deck works. Serendipitous42 (talkcontribs) 01:21, June 22, 2011 (UTC)

I'd try that (And yes, Upstart Goblin with 41 cards still works)

Finished - GK's Help!

So, I'm looking to build a GK's deck, and this is what I've been running on DN for a while, but I'm wondering if you can help me get it a bit more consistent/competitive? I can't afford Solemn Warning or Pot of Duality, but asides from that, I've got a budget of about $225-$250. I'm just gonna buy two Marik Structure Decks, and add on the extra cards. Could you also take a look at the side deck, please? Thanks! Riotproject (talkcontribs) 17:17, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

I would highly recommend not using Genex Controller. You should use three Descendants and Assailant is useful but unecessary-it would be better to use more Malefic Cyber End Dragons and Malefic Stardust Dragons. Gravekeeper's Stele is also better than Rite of Spirit-you should take out Rite of Spirit and add in a Stele. Dark Illusion has almost no uses so you should remove it. You should add in 3 Dimensional Prison and another Seven Tools as well.BobaFett2 (talk)

Alright, will do. So, should I take out both Assailants for a Stardust and a Cyber-End? Riotproject (talkcontribs) 17:55, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

I'd try that, as for side:

How's that look to you? I've kept it mostly cheap cards,-Resk () 17:58, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Excellent, thank you! Now, I'm new here, so what's the general rule of thumb on how long to wait between requests, 'cos I have one more deck that needs editing, and an idea for one from scratch.. >< Riotproject (talkcontribs) 18:01, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

'one at a time' is basicly all we ask :p, just make sure to check archives first (Oh, and D-Prision or Comp x2 are fine in main, just depends who you mostly go against & how chainable you need your s/t to be, as D-Prision is better, but comp is chainable).
-Resk () 18:05, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Hey, It's me again!

Alright, second Deck Edit of the day, this is another one I've been using on DN for a while, and it's realllllyyy inconsistent. As in, I win about half the time, I've beat Six Sams, Blackwings etc.. Yet, I've lost to aliens, and some guy playing Yugi's deck. (I honestly have no idea how that happened) I've been told it's Disaster Dragon, but I don't really focus on the control aspect of it too much.. So! Edits and such would be appreciated, price isn't an issue, but I still don't want to spend $80 for Warning or $50 for PoD.. Also, playstyle tips and a side deck would be welcomed as well.
Side note..I realise some of the synchros in here are a bit costly, so replacement ideas would be welcome.Riotproject (talkcontribs) 18:45, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

That should be more consistant for you, though it is changed a bit, if you want me to keep the blue-eyes stuff in it, I can do a different version for you? (You can Loop L&D dragon using Gen{Never Use His Return To Deck Effect}, by summon REDMD when L&D dies, REDMD revives Gen, Gen adds L&D to hand, then tribute Gen & REDMD for L&D)

so, how's that?-Resk () 19:05, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

That looks pretty decent, do you think you could side deck Blue-Eyes and related cards so I can switch out if I'm not up against a meta? Riotproject (talkcontribs) 19:21, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

There's a less meta build, in this one Gen is to get back Stones/Blues for use with the Trade-In/CoC's as needed-Resk () 19:28, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

This works perfectly, thanks. Riotproject (talkcontribs) 19:53, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Now for something a bit more fun..

I feel kinda bad to keep giving you guys stuff, but this is the second to last thing, and it's a bit more fun, and something I don't think you get a lot of. Do you think one of you could build me a Skull Servant deck? Doesn't have to stand up against the current meta, I'm just looking for something cheap to build, that'll be fun to play. That's pretty much it, I give you free reign, aside from the fact that I want it to include the four Skull Servant cards.
enjoy!
Riotproject (talkcontribs) 19:59, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

There is a a Skull Servant deck above in the posts. It should say King in the Grave, or something. It's really far up. Use the contents box, should be "Finished - Wright Deck". Tell me if it won't work. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 02:59, June 22, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Simochi

i've always liked the concept of this deck, and I built one a long time ago, and the spell and trap line up kinda follows "the best defense is a strong offense"

Any advice on how to improve this will be appreciated Serendipitous42 (talkcontribs) 20:05, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

I am creating a version of this deck, I will post as soon as I feel comfortable with it. Wait 1-2 days. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 23:27, July 1, 2011 (UTC)
Is it ok if I use Pot of Duality?
Here, I used the Pot of Duality. It should be fairly simple.

I thought that Savage Colosseum would be better than Forest, and the extra draw power is good for getting Nurse or Bad Reaction faster. Kuribon + Bad reaction + Colosseum + Ultimate Offering is a sweet defense. Since you inflict damage, then Offering can summon Kuribon again in the Battle Phase, to stop another attack.Anyway, Messenger is better than Gravity Bind/Level Limit, because of Xyz monsters, Meklord Emperors, etc. Use Imperial if your opponent is going to destroy your Bad Reaction by using MST, Dust Tornado, etc, activate it after they use MST, causing a chain, so Custom resolves first, and your opponent wasted a card. Special Thanks to Falzer FZ. I based the deck on his previous Anti- Burn deck. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 18:20, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Does this need help?

Ok, I had combined Flints with modern Tuner Monsters and Synchro Monsters to increase the speed of the deck but also the goal of the deck was to have powerful low-level monsters. I'm not quite sure this deck meets modern standards so I would like an evaluation:

I want to keep the Flints but the mini-monster side of the deck could just be the deck by itself. I need help bridging the gap between them. XxXTheForbiddenLordXxX (talkcontribs) 12:19, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

A lot of the cards used there are not very good. I'd suggest using a Flint + Junk-Granel OTK deck. I need to figure out how to make it work but this is a start.BobaFett2 (talk)

Is Emperor Granel expensive? I'm not too sure of my chances of getting my hands on 3 of them. same thing for The Ally of Justice Catastor. It may be difficult for me to get multiple copies of those cards but i think we may have something. And could you explain what you mean by the Junk-Granel OTK? and also the deck you suggested does not have enought cards XxXTheForbiddenLordXxX (talkcontribs) 15:27, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

Granel costs 5 dollars. The Junk-Granel OTK is as follows: Normal Summon Junk Synchron, Special Summon a Level 2 monster, Synchro Summon Junk Warrior while you control Granel, and Junk Warrior gains Granel's attack, which in this case should be very, very high.BobaFett2 (talk)

Well ok this is getting somewhere. Now we just need to find need to find bridge between the two..we could use Jigen Bakudan with that superduper high ATK for a OTK. Does that sound good? XxXTheForbiddenLordXxX (talkcontribs) 15:45, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

Jigen Bakudan is a terrible card. It has to remain flipped until your Standby Phase and it's damage is mediocre. The OTK just requires you to attack directly.BobaFett2 (talk)

Not in this instance. What you do is ramp up your LP with two Flints, Flint Locks and a Morale Boost for an infinate loop. Then because you have a high LP Granel's ATK is ramped way up. Then Junk Warrior's ATK is crazy high too. Paralyze you opponent with the Flints then use Jigen Bakudan. Inflict that directly on your opponent, they won't survive. That's why I think Jigen Bakudan should be in there. XxXTheForbiddenLordXxX (talkcontribs) 17:36, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

but... you can Attack in a prior turn for game at that point anyway .-.
-Resk () 19:11, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

Still it's fun to blow stuff up! XxXTheForbiddenLordXxX (talkcontribs) 19:33, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

Is this deck basically done or what whats going on here? XxXTheForbiddenLordXxX (talkcontribs) 20:40, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

I don't really have anything else to add (I'm a bit busy).BobaFett2 (talk)

You guys have 3 slots to fill, MST is semi-limited. Why not a Synchron Explorer? And if you can use Solemn Judgment too. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 19:02, June 25, 2011 (UTC)

Well here's the next deck list I came up with:

OK I'm starting to see the strategy of the deck: Once you have Flint Lock out, use Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu to get Flint to get the infinite loop with Morale Boost. Then play Junk Synchron and use Iron Blacksmith to synchro for Junk Warrior or Ally of Justice Catastor. Then Get Granel on the field with Junk Warrior to either attack, or blow up with Jigen Bakudan.

Finished - Spirits

Hello, so my GK deck works quite well for what it was designed and built to do. However I feel the need to have something a little more flexible. And hence my hope was for a spirit monster deck. I’m not concerned with the money, I got money to spend, since my GK deck was a good bit cheaper than I thought it would be. I would like most of the monsters to be spirit monsters; however I understand that not every card will be. Any takers?

Mrcarter11 (talkcontribs) 17:38, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

I'll do this one, guys. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:23, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Dark Ace.. I'm kinda excited. I already use two decks inspired by you, so this should be good..

I think this should work out. You can also thank Resk, he gave me the engine idea. Anyway, just have either Dimensional Fissure and Macro Cosmos out on the field, then whenever Survivor or Plane is destroyed they can come back. That way, you can have tributes for Kuraz and Yamata Dragon and Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi. Kuraz lets you draw, and if you destroy a Survivor or Plane, they'll just come back, as long as you have Fissure or Cosmos out. The Grand Convergence is great to use with D.D. Survivor and D.D. Scout Plane. The Creature Swap and Mystic Box are great to abuse with the Spirit monsters, because the Spirits return to your hand at the end phase, and you either destroy an opposing monster or steal an opposing monster, pretty sweet huh? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 14:10, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
Resk, feel free to add something I missed, or misunderstood. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 14:14, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
Use D.D.R. on kuraz, then have kuraz destroy self & D.D.R. to turn it into a 'discard 1 card, draw 2' spell-Resk () 14:53, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Well thank you. I shall get on trying this deck out and seeing how it works for me. It's got less spirit monsters then I thought it would, but I'm not too concerned so far. So thanks Ace, I'll let you know how it works.

So Resk, I had two people tell me that was an illegal combo. I was playtesting it on DN. And it's 0/8.. Perhaps it's me? The problem is monsters, I always end up with the tributes and none of the DD stuff. 99.97.84.216 (talk) 16:09, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Well its not an illegal combo, since D.D.R. is not on the limited and forbidden list. Also, Kur's eff is a trigger, it doesn't care if it's destroyed for its own eff along with the equip card itself. Also, that tip is on the Kuraz card tips page, if it was illegal, an someone would have deleted it already. But if you want ask on the ruling forum, and if someone contradicts you can just show them the page. Well I edited it slightly, maybe try it now? More draw ability. I never like having more than 2 level 8 monsters in a deck, unless its necessary for the deck, example: Blue- Eyes deck. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 18:35, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, sorry if this is going to become a real life deck replace the Pot of Duality(s) with Upstart Goblin. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 18:45, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

To clarify, they said the combo didn't work. Their reasoning was that as soon as Kur's effect kills one of the two cards, the other card is destroyed, so Kur's effect couldn't effect it as well.. And more drawing would be good. As for upstart, I hate the card, I rather keep to PoD x2.. Thanks again. I'll try it to see how it works.

This logic is flawed; kur's effect destroys both cards at the same time. it's not destroy one, then destroy another, it's destroy 2. its effect activates, they are both destroyed, and it resolves in the grave letting you draw two cards. the combo is completely legal. Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 20:51, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

It's fine, you could use it to destroy their cards. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 20:10, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Brakedamo is correct, simultainious destruction, thus can draw 2, Forum:DDR Kuraz Verification.-Resk () 21:57, June 25, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, guess the combo works. And funny thing is I didn't see Brake's post until now. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 23:28, June 25, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Karakuri

Hey it's me again. now that you guys have given me some anti-meta help, I would like to try something meta. This is strictly experimental/for dueling network, so don't worry about costs.

The idea here is the OTK using Karakuri's. either using the machine duplication OTK, or however else the appropriate starting cards get onto the field.

These are some cards i know I want in the deck:

Most of these are painfully obvious choices, but, there you have it. Black salvo also looks like it could be pretty good to me, but I'll leave that up to y'all.

I do want this to have strong potential to OTK (even if not FTK) so negation/protection cards (trunade, decree etc.) are welcome and wanted. Thanks for any and everything you can help with. Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 17:12, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

I really do want all TG monster cards in the deck except T.G. Catapult Dragon and T.G. Jet Falcon. I do have a brief idea and I dont know why some people use 2T.G. Rush Rhino instead of 3 and put it in 3 T.G. Cyber Magician because Cyber magician is almost useless without Rhino.

How's that? any questions, just ask (Use safe zone on Waghu/Harbard/Blaster)

-Resk () 10:35, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Firstly i like the innovative use of Safe Zone I just had to ask ecause why did you use King Tiger Wanghu since it has support cards like Horn of the Phantom Beast and i feel it hinders the synchro potential of the deck?

Im sorry for not making Synchro summoning T.G. Blade Blaster and T.G. Halberd Cannon the main point of this deck...........--RedRage (talkcontribs) 16:10, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Blade Blaster and Halberd Cannon aren't very good. Shooting Quasar Dragon is way better and will be sooner or later. Also, Wanghu allows for searching (although to be honest I don't really like the use of Wanghu in T.G.).BobaFett2 (talk)

lol i was just about to write about shooting Quasar thing
I kinda agree with you about Wanghu. I wouldn't mind to put in the side deck against Plant decks due to their increasing popularity, but please explain how it helps for searching?--RedRage (talkcontribs) 16:10, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

So is there any chance somebody can help me modify this deck without Wanghu to gain more synchro potential...--RedRage (talkcontribs) 09:01, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Why not add in a Cyber Magician? And 3 Pot of Avarice would help. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 16:32, June 30, 2011 (UTC)

-Resk () 00:36, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

I understand that yamata can be summoned easily enough w/ totem dragon, and its effect upon dealing damage is very positive, but seeing as it can't be special summoned, and its spirit effect would cause L&D to waste of all its negation if it were also on the field, it doesn't seem like a logical addition to this deck. I'm just curious as to if there's something I'm missing. Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 02:07, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

I like it resk thanks..kerwin (talkcontribs) 04:02, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

To Brakeamold, technaclly your only supposed to put stuff here if requesting deck, or are deck builder, so please post any comments on a talk page :p, thanks
But anyway, you won't always have L&D on field, and usually when it is, you just keep a hold of your hand till it isn't, and with the Loop using L&D, Gen & REDMD, you can easily control when it is or isn't there (toggle it), and you can always just toss it for Gen if need be, though draw 5 off a top deck is nice..
-Resk () 10:21, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
sorry about the misuse of this system, and thanks for the info Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 16:17, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Yamata Dragon is better with the Monarch engine than the disaster one but you can use Imperial Iron Wall to keep getting it back. Also, LaDD is almost always superior to Yamata in terms of advantage.BobaFett2 (talk)

Hi guys! I wish to request a Meklord deck that hits Life Points hard. Kinda like how Aporia did it in the anime against Jack, Leo, and Luna. If its not too much trouble, I dont want this deck to Synchro at all. And also, please stay as close to the archetype as possible, this includes the Meklord Army monsters. Thank you guys! Chaos Machinicle (talkcontribs) 07:25, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

I'll do this one. Just so you know, Lock-On Laser and Level Cannon are anime only cards, at the time being. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 17:07, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I figured as much that they were anime only, mostly because of how brutal they are. Same reason why Fortissimo didnt get its second effect. I know this forum isnt for talking, but I do have one question; Does anyone know when Wisel is coming to the US, if at all? Thanks for helping me with this. Wisel will be released as a Shonen Jump promo in Shonen Jump Magazine September issue. So, is it ok if I use him in the decklist? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 20:19, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Thats fine, Wisel is a key to the archetype. But September! Aw well. I'd like it if Asterisk or Machinicle is in it. Btw, I have one more question; When is Machinicle coming out? Chaos Machinicle (talkcontribs) 20:36, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Well I wasn't going to use the Astros, the use up too much advantage. Just not really worth it. Machinicle will be a Yu-Gi-Oh! National Championships prize card. I just used the Meklord Astro Mekanikle page to find out. I post up the deck after I have tested it, and gotten some thoughts on it. Wait about 1 day, if that's ok. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 20:48, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

I see what you mean about the Astros. I'll wait as long as I need to. Please take your time with it and if its not too much trouble, I'd like it to be competitive, but if you can't get it to be that's fine. I dont want to sound like I'm asking too much. Thank you again. (And if there is anyway to squeeze at least Machinicle in, cuz I like him so much, I'd appreciate that, but if you cant fit him in, I understand.) Chaos Machinicle (talkcontribs) 21:16, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Here try this, you can test it out on Dueling Network, its a free site, just google it.

So, I played it and the win percentage was around 57%, now maybe that's just me. And I never was able to test it out with Magic Cylinder, but if some new card I didn't know about pops up, and its great for the deck, I'll tell you on your talk page, assuming its been awhile since the post. And if you ever have thoughts about maybe including some Synchros, Ancient Fairy Dragon would really help the deck. Just so you know, but overall the decks pretty good.

  • The Double Cyclone help with destroying your own Fortress and an opponent's S/T card, if Dragon is added just replace with MST. The Secret Barrel and Magic Cylinder help with inflicting LP damage., and Marshmallon is also for that purpose. Just cover the field with the Army's. They power each other up, and Granel has a nice eff. The rest should be fairly obvious I hope.

--Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 16:45, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

I thank you very much for your efforts and all your help. I can actually build this deck in real life, the problem is, I dont have the money to obtain two warnings. could something replace them for now? Thank you again. Chaos Machinicle (talkcontribs) 08:31, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Red Nova Deck

Hey guys, I'm new here, so please tell me if i did anything wrong. Anyways, could you make me a deck based on Red Nova Dragon? i was thinking of using the flamvell engine, but it seems kind of slow. Thanks alot! Oh, and there is no budget for the deck. --Deathlion (talkcontribs) 07:46, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Forum:Decks_for_free!/Archive8#Finished_-_Red_Star_Dragons should work for you, though it does kinda go overboard
-Resk () 10:24, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
Resk, if that deck works as good as it looks, overboard is just too small a word for it. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 18:13, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm....i see what you mean. but, is there a way to modify that deck into one that only summons red nova? because i'm a little new to yugioh, i'm not quite sure what to edit from that deck.--Deathlion (talkcontribs) 07:15, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

sec...
  • Rekindling for Dog,Mag,Arch,Baby -> Dog+Mag:RDA, -> RDA+Arch+Baby:RND

How's that?-Resk () 13:17, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

My brother had a Six Samurai deck that could get out RND pretty well and this is a more complete version in case you want to try it out.

This deck is odd in that it pretty much ignores staples for speed. Imperial Iron Wall allows you to stop your opponent from getting rid of Red Nova while Double-Edged Sword Technique + Inferno Reckless + Just about any other card means Red Nova. Backs to the Wall can be used to get Red Nova late in the game or get Thought Ruler and Android to recuperate LP. Shi En should be easy to get.BobaFett2 (talk)

Can't Red Nova, be bounced back tough? Unlikely, but possible. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:55, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

It can. Gravekeeper's Guard makes it useless against GK.BobaFett2 (talk)

wow, thanks for your help! Both builds look solid. i will go and test them and get the cards! Thanks again! --Deathlion (talkcontribs) 12:14, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

I would like to point out that resk build has 2 monster reborns and torrential tributes. So you need 2 more cards. =P--Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 16:11, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

Fixed, I changed some cards, but Resk can edit if he wants. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 16:28, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

OK So I like this deck build. and I know I wasn't the original poster but I have a few suggestions on the deck. Why not use flamviel poun? and also the gravekeepers are good to get extra synchro material monsters but aren't there a better option? --Ezlink20 (talkcontribs) 04:37, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Skill Drainer???

hey you guys its me again. i was wondering if you guys can build me a really good competitive skill drain deck. once again, moneys no object. thanks :) Guns1809 (talkcontribs) 02:01, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

I'm thinking this is a new request, so please next time, create your own section. Sure, I'll make you one. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 03:15, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

The Fissure and Macro Cosmos help stop effects that activate in the graveyard. And the rest help you draw, clear the field for your beatsticks to attack safely. Gorz doesn't work with Fissure/Cosmos/Skill Drain (with a lot of Continuous Spells and Traps he isn't any good, D.D. Survivor is unecessary, Gene-Warped Warwolf is okay but Ohka is better in Skill Drain decks. Three Pot of Dualities is a must to draw necessary cards, Royal Oppression is great (but it screws up Survivor so better just use it without Survivor). Barbaros Ur is a fun card that doesn't work in Banishing Skill Drain decks. This should be more consistent (although if there were more room I'd suggest three Upstarts because without Skill Drain these decks are very difficult to win with).BobaFett2 (talk)

Yeah, sorry. I wasn't thinking when I made my deck version. Yours does look better. But the basic idea is kinda the same. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 18:15, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

There's about 3 different Agent Decks above on this page. Please check those, and if they are unsuitable, ask me to create another. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:50, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw those decks but I don't really like them, so if it's not much to ask, I'd like to get some tips on how to improve the deck I posted to make it more consistant, thanks Lighness (talkcontribs) 03:23, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

So, let me get this straight, you want a Herald deck + an Agent Deck? And can I use cards like Pot of Duality or would that be too expensive? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 03:29, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Exactly, Herald + Agents and if you think I need POD then I'll just add it, that or any other card, no budget limit, thanks Lighness (talkcontribs) 05:07, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Here's what I made:

I tested it out on Dueling Network, and it worked well. Didn't test it against Meta, but I did duel another Fairy Deck. Beat'em :). --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 18:48, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Nordic Attacks!!

Hey guys, I was thinking of ways to prevent this deck from getting beaten back the back row. But, after adding 2 MST, 1 Trunade, i still cant think of any other cards that can defend against the opponent's back row! So, i hope that you guys can give me any suggestions on how to improve the deck!

--Deathlion (talkcontribs) 10:59, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Here this should give you some more back row cover. At the same time increasing consistency.

--Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:48, July 3, 2011 (UTC)

Alright! seems solid, i gotta go test this out. thanks alot!! --Deathlion (talkcontribs) 13:55, July 3, 2011 (UTC)

Finished - Starter Deck

So, one of my friends have decided they would like to start dueling.
I want to build them a Zombie deck, but I'm not quite sure where to start on making it easy for someone who's never played before?
Cost isn't really an issue, and I really would like to include Vampire Lord in the deck, just because they saw that card, and had to have it.
Aside from that, I don't have much more to ask for.
Just an undead themed, easy to play deck.
Thanks,
Riotproject (talkcontribs) 20:14, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Did you want a Zombie World, or Zombie Swarm deck? Also, did you want explanations for your friend? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 20:35, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Definately Zombie World, and no, I'll be able to explain it.
It'd be nice if it could include Synchros, and examples of chaining and such, so I can help teach her the game with her deck. Riotproject (talkcontribs) 20:39, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

A weird thought, but would you also want Vampire Lady too? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:06, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Sure, I don't see why not.
Riotproject (talkcontribs) 22:21, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Well Here. I think the only expensive card is Pod, but could take that out for pretty much anything. But it is useful. Its pretty much a version Resk made I found, and tweaked it to have Lord and Lady. You could drop LAdy for another Lord, but I think Lady is better.

So, how's that? --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:58, July 3, 2011 (UTC)

That works, thanks!
